Controllers and Music services

I have 7 Sonos Move speakers, all in “play all together same source” mode and in trying save a playlist I get the message "Sonos doesn't have enough free space" when saving a queue as a playlist". There are no playlists in my Sonos Playlist area except for ones (named but blank) that have been named but not saved to as I try to figure this out.  The mp3 files all come from a hard drive that is connected to a router. I recently replaced the router, re-connected the Network Drive and all is seen by Sonos. My current attempt at a playlist has 8428 .mp3 files so not over a 10k limit etc.

It would be cool if the sub menu access for settings/bass/treble/balance/ & loudness was placed to the left empty spot next to previous track button eliminating the need to tap on the volume. Don’t know if it’s possible but it would be cool to see it in a future update. 

I’m having a similar issue as this fellow: A little background on my issue.  I have a Sonos OneSL in my bedroom that I use at night to play white noise.  I have a daily alarm set to go off at 10pm and run till 7am.  The white noise is a Spotify “song” entitled White Noise 3 Hour Long and it’s in a Spotify folder with 4 instances of the same track to ensure sufficient coverage throughout the night.  It’s worked flawlessly for a couple of years now.Until this past week.For the last 4 or 5 days, at 4am on the dot, the white noise cuts out and a jazz track starts playing, waking both me and the wife.  It’s making the wife very unhappy.  😱  I have no idea how or why this is happening.  I have deleted all the other Sonos alarms I had on the controller (even though none were “active”).  I deleted the Spotify folder with the white noise

Not sure what to do but any help would be greatly appreciated. I can connect to my Sonos account and see all my media players. When I select Sirius It shows all the channels but they are greyed out/ not highlighted where you can select to play them? I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Unauthorized reauthorized. With the same result

I recently added a Port to my two channel system. One of the best things about Spotify (and Amazon Unlimited) is the autoplay feature, which uses a sophisticated algorithm to continue playing recommended music after your selection ends. It is not just a matter of convenience (although it does allow you to continue doing whatever you might be doing without having to stop to make a new selection, or be without music at your dinner party, for just one example, until you have a minute to do that), but it is a great way to discover new music. I’ve seen several threads (all now closed) on this issue, but no fix. To be clear, this is a Sonos issue, not a Spotify/Amazon issue. It is beyond imagination to me that a sophisticated piece of audio equipment, designed specifically for streaming apps, would somehow omit support for a critical feature of those self-same streaming apps. So long time Sonos user. About 2 months ago I upgraded all my components to the newest versions. All seemed well for about 6 weeks. Everything seemed rock solid. Last two weeks components randomly seem to be disappearing from my system in the iOS app. They mostly disappear, sometimes reappear. If they don’t reappear I have to reboot the component, sometimes factor reset it. The totally weird thing is if music is playing on a component which it disappears the music carries on playing with issues. But I can no longer control the component because its vanished from the iOS app. Even weirder, the missing components on iOS do sometimes appear in the Mac app.My network system hasn’t changed for the past few years. LTE 5G router, wireless turned off, attached to Google Wifi Pro mesh system which is the only wifi supplier in the apartment.Anyone have any ideas what might be going on and how my future doesn’t involve setting aside a couple of hours each week to re

Hello, I have read that there is going to be a new iOS software update and I’m curious to know if the update will continue to allow different aged speakers work on the same platform or will we have a scenario like the original Sonos app and now Sonos two, depending on the age of the product will depend what application it will need to run on. I have many many Sonos speakers throughout my three level home and I already have to run 2 apps for all of my speakers and I do not intend to add one more dollar until I am sure I won’t run into this scenario again.  Thanks for any update as I did plan to add a few smaller speakers with microphone but if more are to marked obsolete then I am done with sonos.  Thanks

Songs appear but won’t play file.  No server found 

For some reason suddenly some of my Spotify playlists I created are highlighted grey and cannot be played on Sonos ?The playlists are OK on the Spotify app and they play  fine !Any thoughts ? Thanks 

Hi there, we bought an IKEA Symfonisk wall speaker and it looks and sounds great. However, neither myself (android) nor my wife (IOS) can find Spotify in S2. We rebooted everything, changed networks, reinstalled apps, but nothing. It is nowhere to be found in the list of services in S2. My wife managed to connect Spotify with the speaker once without S2. Only once however. My Spotify sees the speaker but cannot connect to it. Keeps flashing and saying connecting... Anyone with a similar challenge or experience to help? BestAnestis

I’ve seen similar posts with this issue, but cannot find a resolution to mine.  I have iTunes library stored on desktop PC, with the entire library synced to DS220+ NAS via Synology Drive. The synced folder on the NAS is what my Sonos app is synced to for my music library. All the songs appear as they should, and playback no problem. However, when I go to the Imported Playlists folder in the Sonos library to access my iTunes playlists, some of the songs show as the file name: “Artist - Title.mp3”, and won’t playback as Sonos app shows error message:  “Unable to play (Song file name/location), cannot be found”. But the song appears and plays normal when going through the Artist folder and the file name doesn’t show with the .mp3 extension like it does in the playlist error.This obviously appears to be some issue with the playlist file iTunes is generating, but I don’t know what it could be...since the playlists sync f

For reasons not relevant here I had to resubscribe to Qobuz with new account credentials.  Sonos is still showing playlists, albums, etc from the old account and the new account at the same time. Since I don’t remember which was on which account, I frequently start to play something from the old account and Sonos goes all algo agro on me.  “No can do” it seems to say.  Except it says it in far less poetic ways.  How do I get rid of all of those defunct sources from the old account? I would think that Sonos would just sync with the credentials it has NOW, and not show stuff from an account that is no longer active, but sadly it ain’t doing that. And, of course, I can’t go onto the Qobuz website and manually remove that stuff because, well, the account doesn’t exist any more.  

Hi. I use You Tube Music on Sonos and like scrolling through the 25 or 30 new albums on “New Releases” but for some reason about a week when I go to “New Releases” on Sonos it only shows one or two new albums. Does anyone know if this is a Sonos problem or a You Tube Music problem?  And more importantly how it can be fixed? I tried re-installing You Tube Music on Sonos but nothing changed. Thanks! 

Hi, my wife and I both play our Shazam tracks via our iPhones through our Sonos amps. For some reason a few weeks ago it started only listing and playing her Shazam tracks on my app. I have no idea why it has stopped accessing mine as the Shazam app has them listed correctly. It is really annoying as I can no longer just play them as a playlist, as I used to.  Any suggestions as to how to solve this would be much appreciated!

This appeared two years ago as Deleting ghosts from my Sonos Music Library but the answer doesn’t work for me.I use my iTunes music library as the source for the Sonos music library.  I regulary update the Sonos music library when the iTunes library changes.  ITunes imported an unrecognizable album and named the tracks: Track 01, Track 02, etc.  I used the iTunes Find Info to change the album name.  Everything went into Sonos including the ‘Track 01’ ‘Track 02’ song titles.  I then went into iTunes and used Find Info to manually enter the real Track names.  I used iTunes to delete the Track 01, Track 02 files and confirmed they were not in the iTunes Music folder.  Everything looks correct in iTunes AND the iTunes music folder.  I then reupdated the Sonos music library.  Now, for each song I have two selections: The track name I entered (correct) and the original Track 01 . . .  I can’t see how to remove the Track 01 . . . from the Sonos Library.  These don’t exist in the iTu

Having an issue for a couple days now. The app doesn’t load completely. My system works when I choose to play through the Spotify app and my network is working.  I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and signed in and out several times. Same outcome of dead screen.   

Hii am looking to switch over from Spotify to Tidal.but one of the main features I use is Spotify Connect, where I can select my Sonos speaker(s) from within the Spotify app.i read that the same should be possible from Tidal app, but my Sonos speakers don’t show up in the app.. (Screenshots above show Spotify app and Tidal app next to eachother).And I KNOW that I can use apple AirPlay but that is not what I want, because my phone doesn’t always have good Wifi reception, so I want the music to be streamed directly from the Tidal Server to the Sonos speaker and not going through my iPhone.  BONUS QUESTION:Is Tidal integrated with Sonos Voice command? When opening FE: soundcloud likes in the sonos app it does not show the full title of a song/liveset.See 500 - the boom room and 503 - the boom room. Would it not be possible to show the title scrolling horizontally un the app?

Anybody else experiencing laggy performance on the S2? Mine’s horrible, volume control takes an age to adjust and going back the app after songs have played, it takes forever for the song that’s playing to update on the app.  I’ve had Sonos gear for the past 10 years and honestly long for the days when everything just used to work… 😢

Feature RequestHello! I’d like to make a request to see a music service added to the list that Sonos offers. I’ve searched and it doesn’t seem to be there. It’s called Aimi.fm and they have a dedicated iOS and Android app as well.I use this streaming service all the time, but I have to play it via their native app because it’s not available on Sonos, which causes some streaming problems since the speakers aren’t being recognized as a “group” like they are when you play something through the Sonos app, and eventually they fall out of sync with each other.It would be awesome if this service was added to the list. Thank you!

In the Sonos app, spotify works for Playlist and Numbers and all others….but when I select Albums (my libary) I recieve a time out failure…..spotify connection renewed, sonos app reinstalled, chatted for hours with Sonos and Spotify….no resolution…..issue occurs on Desktop (W10, Iphone, Ipad)

I use to be able to stream the playlist on my phone through my house system (Amp) and the Sonos app.  Not sure if an update eliminated it or not, but I can not stream the playlist that are on my phone anymore.  Is it just me and I need to do something different / new or has that been eliminated?

Je n’ai pas trouvé de réponse. Play 3 configuré en Wifi à partir d’une box fibre Orange et un répéteur wifi. la configuration du Play 3 se fait sans problème je me connecte à partir de l’app S2 sans problème sur le Play 3 pour faire des recherches et lancer de la musique. le problème une fois la musique en cours message « connexion impossible remédions à ceci…. »j’ai suivi le re-configuration mais toujours même problème. j’ai déplacé le Play 3 plus près de la box orange toujours même problème. Sur l’app j’ai supprimé le Play et refais l’installation complète, toujours même problème. une fois la musique en route perte de la connexion et impossible de reconnecter le Play 3. seule possibilité pour arrêter la musique est le bouton pause sur le play 3. j’en suis arrivé à me dire que je vais changer mon plat 3 par une autre marque. Quelqu’un a t il déjà rencontré se problème ?

It's sad to buy a Sonos product in Portugal and not have the Google Assistant or Amazon Music that other devices brands have. Is Tidal on Sonos expected to be equivalent in quality to Amazon Music someday?Thanks
