How can I get the old App back. Upgraded to new app and now my speakers won't work at either system.  Today will be my 4th call to support in a week.  

Please, escalate this to the company. Since las app updtae the sync is the worst ever. Spotify hardly is able to reproduce any song at all. I got 5 of the older sonos speakers.

Since the new app installation when I open Sonos on my android phone it takes about 2 mins to start. Then it often tells me a software update is required, so I click on get updates but it can't find updates etc etc.  My partner also has an android phone which is not getting this issue. Anybody got a clue?

My Sonos system was connected to my tv when I updated the new Sonos app.  Now I cannot clear it from tv to audio, so only have access to Sonos Radio offerings, with my saved audio library unavailable!.  Before It automatically changed from tv to audio after about 10 minutes, or I could force the change.

I have tried to chat; tried to call and attempted to scream out the window. The new SONOS controller app update has ruined my listening pleasure. It took years to fine tune, a lot of money, and once the system was to my liking, there was no reliable way to control it.  You would think a FREE component would work. Anyone else???

I uploaded the new SONOS app on my IOS mobile for my Play-1 system (2 paired in stereo mode).If it is possible to find back my favorites albums in the Qobuz streaming links, it is impossible to find back my personal playlists. How can I have them under the Qobuz button ?Thanks,

My sonos connect amp works perfectly with my record deck but it will not pair/connect with any of the rest of my sonos units all it keeps saying is “unable to connect Try again later

I have just upgraded the app on my iPhone. I am now getting a message when selecting the line-in from your sources and then selecting a device  ‘unable to connect-please try again later’. My Wi-Fi signal to all my devises is showing as strong! Why can’t I get a connection? Many thanks 

Can we have the old version back, this update is worse than anything I have ever experienced. How did it get through any QA process?

Has anyone else noticed that the support for playing local music files is incrementally just withering away? As someone who tends to buy music digitally (Bandcamp, Amazon etc) rather than stream, my entire reason (and many others’) for investing so deeply in the Sonos ecosystem is becoming moot.First, they removed the ability to play music stored on a mobile device. This was a big step down for me personally, because I tended to keep the ‘heavy rotation’ stuff in my collection on my phone, due to  (relatively) limited storage space.It wound up sending me to my computer to manually divvy my collection into two folders (‘Heavy’ and ‘Light’ rotation). I have just recently gotten the sonos system n linked the arc, sub n sonos one to my sonos app on my android Samsung phone. I use Spotify and have no problem playing it via my phone, Windows laptop n desktop.The spotify app is able to detect the Sonos speakers, however it is not able to link to the speakers n play through it. It is all connected to the same WiFi network.Is there anything I am missing?

My S2 Android app updated itself overnight ( I thought I had turned auto update off but I guess not)Now I cannot see or play from my local library. Some of the items that were saved to favorites are there but greyed out. I’ve seen others complain about losing search for their libraries but mine is just gone. I saw one thread that mentioned having to locate the library as a “source” but I’m just not seeing it.When I talked to a support rep via chat, he told me that local library support is just gone for now. Is that really true? Can anyone who still can at least play songs from their library explain how to locate it on the android app?The only computer I have regular access to is a work-issued machine so installing the windows app isn’t an option.

Where's my Music Library?!! Anybody out there??

While my system was “upgrading” to the new firmware one of my Play:1 surrounds failed to update (that's ongoing saga story in itself). I've swapped it for another one, but I now need to retune the system. To add to the disasters that Sonos have inflicted on us all, I now find the old iPhone 6s I kept just for trueplay is no longer supported. I'm not an Apple user, so before I go to the expense of buying a cheap used iOS device, can someone confirm that trueplay actually works with the new app and firmware?

Has anyone managed to find the settings for alarms in the new (May 2024) app update??I hate the new app as I think functionality is backside first!I’m in the lounge so I want to see the speakers first the what I want to play. The new app hides speakers behind content.  

Apologies if this appears as me adding more of the same to this thread, but I feel I that need to as Sonos’ latest app update has ruined something that has been working for me for years. Maybe an increasing number of people posting here will help encourage Sonos to fix the diabolical situation they have created – and quickly.The number of gripes I have with latest update to the app, either on my Samsung phone or Samsung tablet, continues to grow by the day…. So - in no particular order:Most times I open the app I am confronted with the message ‘No Products Found’ and inviting me to go to ‘System Setting’ – even if music is already playing! This greeting may stay on the screen for just a few seconds or indefinitely, but generally seems to be approx. 10seconds. This delay means the app is nowhere near as interactive as it needs to be. It’s quite frustrating.The volume sliders are jerky, indistinct and unresponsive making it very difficult

Had to do a factory reset on my Sonos system (Sonos One and Connect). I have added back all my streaming services successfully, except Amazon music. When I try to add Amazon, every time I select the Authorize button, it takes me to Ticket Master, not Amazon music. Has anyone else had this issue?

The latest Sonos app update has removed my speakers  from the app and I am not able to add them back to the system. I keep getting “Not Registered “ messages and cannot get in touch with tech support. 

I have been successful getting my play1 to play a Pandora station. I am frustrated by the fact that I cannot figure out how to get a different pandora Station to play. Nothing I do seems to give me the capability to change the station!!

The Sonos app for my desktop, Pixel 8, and my Ipad stopped working all stopped working. I could not access my Music Library on the Sonos destop app.  So I deleted it and then tried to look for a download on the Web.  I can’t find it. So there is no way to access my Music Library on my Sonos Play:1 speakers via the Desktop controller, much less via the mobile apps for Ipad or Pixel. I would just like Sonos the way it was 10 days ago, bugs and all. Any suggestions?

Unable to connect new RoamSL to my existing system 

I have an existing Sonos setup with 4 speakers that is working fine. I had another Sonos One in my closet that I wanted to bring out.   I factory-reset the device, went through 4 attempts to join it to my network (all failed).Worse, the app on my Mac is now all wonked out.  Even resetting it doesn’t work.My controller is on iOS and it is the updated Sonos app.  The other app is on MacOS Monterey.  I rebooted my iPhone, rebooted the Sonos One, no luck.All I did was try to add a Sonos One speaker to an existing setup.  This error condition should not throw everything into disarray like this.I’m a bit frustrated as this is not the only time I’ve experienced trouble like this.  Can anyone shed some light on how I can fix this and/or why this happens? Thanks!
