Aple music Mediathek is no longer reachable after upgrade! Do i habe to change the system as i can no longer listen to my music?

After the new app update, the shuffle button is gone from de “songs” section in the Apple Music library.  before the update I used to go to songs and press shuffle. No that option had disappeared.  can this be re added in a future update? 

Dear Sonos,I’ve been a customer for 13 years with multiple devices…Sonos Play 5 Gen 1, Play 3, One, Symfonisk etcGot annoyed a few years ago when you dropped support for some of my devices with the new app forcing me to upgrade. But, being a tech guy myself I could kind of understand that you needed to move on. Supporting 10 year old HW is hard. A few years have passed and I decided to refresh and use the upgrade discount. I bought two Era-300 to replace the devices from 2011. Trying to set this up has been an utter nightmare. It is absolutely unacceptable for products in this price range. I’ve spent a total of 7 hours and I’m still stuck. I have one Sonos One and one Symfonisk and two new Era-300. My wifi network is in mint condition, 250 mbit internet. Why do Sonos (Sonos One, and Roam) struggle to connect and stay connected to Spotify? It has been doing this every day this week. It used to just happen every so often, but now it won’t connect at all.Actually, it eventually connects several minutes after the attempt was made, but then it turns back off… on, off, on, off… it will do this several times before disconnecting all together.  Sonos, great sound, bad everything else. 

Help! I bought two Symfonisk speakers to complete my surround sound setup with Arc and Sub. Today I went crazy trying to configure them... without success. After many attempts, I managed to update the software (by installing the app on my PC) and now the app recognizes them. However, I can't configure the surround sound...  Most of times I start the adding process and it so with a network error after 3 tentatives. Sometimes it goes on but hangs on until I kill the app.I've tried everything: resets, connecting the Arc via cable, disabling the 5GHz network, removing a repeater that might have been causing interference, assigning a static IP, moving them closer and farther from all routers and the Arc... HOw do I shut the music off? I used to be able to click on each room to shut it all off, When I do that now the app says No Output Selected. Select where to play this audio

When using Amazon music on the Sonosit plays just the first 30 seconds of the song and then moves to the next song. It will not play the entire song

New app garbage unusable.  Stop hiring Microsoft developers.  Used to be the best,  now its a easte of money.

I am yet another totally frustrated and angry SONOS customer, I have been forced to update to the new app which I find to be completely useless and unfit to fulfil the reasons for me buying into SONOS in the first place. When I bought the speakers (at significant cost) It was on the understanding that I would be able to curate and play MY OWN music library, I can no longer do that with this new totally rubbish app. I have no interest in streaming or using any other source other than music I own.Local music library……gone.Playlists…….. gone.ability to create a new playlist…..gone.Ability to control speakers independently…….gone.respect for SONOS……….gone.Me as a customer??? (Pending the “fix”!)  

Hi,Relatively new user. If i make changes to My Music on Amazon Music, im not seeing the changes in the sonos app. Im thinking it may have something to do with reindexing but the instructions on the web for how to reindex dont work or appear on my version of the app…Mike

Could I have the old app back please? The new one is nearly unusable. It is clunky, unreliable and sometimes has a mind of its own. I have iOS.

The Sonos app is dreadful. I’ve been a fan of Sonos products for over 13 years but this latest release is dreadful. My Napster service appears then disappears and my playlists that have been carefully crafted over as many years have been lost. 

The new update has made it impossible for me to connect to Mytuner radio from Sonos. I have removed and re-added Mytuner service to try to fix it, no luck. I used to get quick access simply by clicking a station. Now I must first turn on my Roam bluetooth, go outside Sonos to my Mytuner app, start the station, then go back into Sonos where I can pair it with my non-bluetooth Play1. I must leave the Roam on during the listening, and when I want a new station I have to repeat this process to get connected.Give me the old version of Sonos back!!!

Hey Sonos FYI the landing page to play.sonos.com  sometimes redirects to the page as shown below. Does not inspire confidence in your web app.  Another thing for your to do list. 

Hi, I have two connect amps (quite a few years old - series 1 I think?). The app cannot detect anything and it says 'unable to connect to Sonos'. Looking at the bridge it no longer has a white light showing but is connected via a cable to the router and we have full Internet signal. I've turned on and off again and didn't seem to make any difference.It seems like the bridge is not working...?  Help please! Thanks  Anton

What is going on?   Our bar & restaurant business has been using Sonos for over four years now, with music an essential part of our customers experience.  About a week and a half ago, our Sonos apps updated in the middle of the night, and suddenly our four years worth of carefully curated playlists are totally missing.  We spend our valuable time creating these lists, so that the BPM’s are always upbeat, and fit the lively vibe of our bar.  We cannot allow the generic stations to just play random songs, as these are not even close to the quality of the curated songs we’ve spent years compiling.  Can someone show us how to just download the earlier version of the app?  This new one is so buggy, and jumps around from genre to genre randomly.  It’s terrible, and it’s affecting our business.  Customer service lines are 55 mins plus to try and speak with a representative.  Does anyone know what  is going on?  Any info would be helpful.  Thank you. 

As stated in other forums around here, I’m one of the hundreds of thousands (millions?) of loyal customers who been disconnected from my Sonos-system since the launch of the new app.I’m so god damn’ frustrated. I cant understand how a tech-company with the mission statement: “ Help the world listen better”, how on earth they could agree (someone must have decided) to go forward and launch this app from hell??? An app that leaves the systems totally useless for some, and for others just strips them from minimum functions (add to queue?)And I think the answer to why, is very obvious, since we’ve all been bombarded with email marketing and commercials telling us to buy the new revoulutionizing headphones Sonos Ace...as I understand it, totally normal headset without the connectivity to the existing Sonos speakers, but with the ability to connect to a soundbar and therefore use it while watching TV...wow.  But regardless of how unimaginative

I have 5 Sonos speakers distributed throughout house. Since the last update, each time I turn on Sonos, only the Arc in basement shows as ON and always playing the same song. It takes 2-3 times turning it off and turning on all the others (3 Ones and 1 Move2) before it takes. Meanwhile, the screen continues to show that song that is ready to play on the Arc even as the other speakers cycle through dozens of other songs. The app NEVER changes the song shown as playing.Sonos also randomly shuts off a speaker or two and has to be turned back on. Or the whole system just stops playing. 

I have spent around 4 hours on and off today on the following:first I bought a 5 Gen 1 which I had to use a different app from the new SONOS app for then I bought a 1 Gen 2 which I could use on the new SONOS app but I wanted them both on the SONOS controller appThe SONOS app told me I could downgrade the Speaker 1 from Gen 2 to Gen 1 so I spent around 90 minutes repeatedly following the instructions to the downgrade facility.Eventually I contacted Customer services who told me that this feature doesn’t exist…..yet. As part of that discussion they told me “Despite the challenges we're facing, our team remains resilient and focused on finding solutions.” which had nothing to do with what were were talking about.So THERE IS NO DOWNGRADE FEATURE DESPITE BEING TOLD ONLINE AND IN-APP THAT THERE IS A DOWNGRADE FUNCTION.I now have 2 speakers, 2 apps and only one (the SONOS Controller) works on my Mac.The entire set up is a total

New app won’t find my system.  I tried restarting my phone after updating. App won’t find my system after I turn on one of my products.  Please help…I tried calling Sonos support, but my wait time is 75min!!! Thanks
