I updated the app and my system is now not recognizable and my speakers cannot be added… how can this be possible.  Seems like we all are having the same problem and no fixes???

I have a modest Sonos system - 4 x Play-1’s.In April, they were awesome. My office, a paired set on the main floor and a single in the bedroom. Connected to plex, spotify, no problems whatsoever.  Today - I have all 4 lined up beside me on the desk after literally hours of factory resets, wired vs. wireless connected attempts to set them up over and over. Same wireless hub, same router, same everything. The only difference is the new app, and whatever firmware updates were pushed to my speaker set. I’m quite angry: this is my only speakers for playing music in my house.  Wireless, the app connects to them on their private network, then plays the tones for connecting…. then advises me that while they’ve been added, no playback will be possible before they are attached to the network and set up. FFS. Wired, ethernet connections get a little further: goes thru the entire setup, gets me actually into the app. Try to set up Spotify - get

Apple Music is intermittent. Music cuts in and out only on Apple Music.  Pandora works fine and it never cuts in and out. Been happening last month or so as far as I know

After updating my Sonos mobile app on a number of Apple products, the connection to my music library has failed. I attempted to reconnect to the music file on my MacMini Sonos “server” a number of times and got an error each time. 

Is there anyone out there with any legal knowledge?The new app has taken away my ability to play my music from my music library (error 913). I am also unable to add music to a playlist or edit the queue. so I am left with a glorified radio!As this makes my Sonos speakers no longer fit for purpose, can I claim compensation or a refund?Mal

Since Update on IOS on 80.00.02 the alarm clocks are totally broken. cant select, deselect, add or remove alarm clocks. please fix this asap

Is there an easy way of finding AM lossless tracks in the Sonos app?I want to play one, but for the life if me I can’t find one. Any examples appreciated.

Hi there,I have a question regarding adv in the new app for iPad. I can’t close this thing in the middle of the screen.It looks like this“X” doesn’t work. It just open new window with more details.app version 80.01.11 but the same problem was in the previous version.Anyone with the same problem? Any solutions?

In 2016, SONOS blew my mind and I recommended it to everyone I know. While the speakers get better, the app just continues to get worse. This latest update is one of the worst experiences I’ve had with an app, and as someone that works with digital products, I have a strong spidey sense that the app was rushed to push out functionality for the headphones while not caring much about anything else.I’m not sure I can continue to give them my money. Not only is the latest app rough from a UI/UX aspect, the quiet removal or exclusion of legacy features has my system unstable at best. The removal of support for Boost, is possibly the final straw. Without it, my system is constantly disappearing, my products are hard to decipher (i.e., my arc is working, but also offline?)I can see on this forum that others are feeling the same. What do you plan to do? Are there alternatives? Is there a different way I can engage with the products and company? If I am home, music is playing.

I make frequent use of large playlists in Spotify and Apple Music. Some have several hundred tracks, some have several thousand. Those services have no problem playing/shuffling these playlists within 2 seconds or less when using the native apps. But when trying to play any of them in Sonos, not only is there almost always a considerable delay playing even medium-sized playlists, but larger playlists pretty much never load and instead give an “Unable to add songs to the queue” error, requiring me to resort to Airplay and rendering the Sonos app completely useless.So my question is this - what is the actual limitation Sonos is running up against here? Is there a specific track count limitation, or is it a time limit? I see both answers posted with authority here and elsewhere, and really want to get to the bottom of it.FWIW, I have gigabit internet and my internal network is based around a well positioned Eero 3-unit Pro 6e system which provides a minimum 160mb

Since having to reset the speakers in my system I am no longer able to add Amazon Music as a service to my system.  I’ve been using it for years in Guernsey without issue, no all of a sudden I can’t add it.  Not impressed Sonos & Amazon.  This needs to get fixed.

I can’t find “my library” in the new app. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

When I am playing music they skip , jump the reproduction , loss my speakers etc 

I listen to the Sonos system typically listening to my own music. - music that I own. That’s completely gone now and even though I’ve tried every suggestion here to fix it, nothing works. Thanks Sonos!The application (IOS) reverts to the first room listed in my (now worthless) system and even after de-selecting that room and selecting another room - IT GOES BACK to the previous selection. I just want to listen to a streaming service since my music is NO LONGER AVAILABLE, and I can’t even do that.I hope Sonos goes out of business after screwing your customer base as you have. ALL of your employees, in particular the CEO deserves to be out on the street looking for a new job.

Sometimes I run the app and I find my library under the sonos favorites. Sometimes it just isn’t there. Is there a place I can go to always find it?

 Apparently Sonos has forgotten that they have a great number of audiophiles (like you, myself and others) that have a vast collection of  personal tracks that was on a variety of media types. Sonos seemed to be the centralizing solution that I needed to convert thousands of albums, tapes, CD’s and such under one roof. To me accessing these legacy tracks made Sonos the premiere hub source. Good thing I backed up those converted files on a network-attached storage drive, not to mention saving my legacy playback devices. I personally apologize to the hundreds of friends that I persuaded to try Sonos.BTW, if it weren’t for the “dinosaurs and such” in the music and electronics field (like me, we wouldn’t have streaming audio. Sonos, fix this!

The latest version of the Sonos controller (S2) is really disapointing. Lot’s of feautures are nowhere to be found:Alarm setup Possibility to link to home library Add to reading list (play after...) When playing the top titles of an artist (through Deezer service) it only plays one track at a time instead of playing the whole list one track after the otherAnyone knows if this problems will be resolved soon? Thank you!

I am probably being stupid but how do I search for music to play when I am in one of my rooms. I want music to play in the bedroom but it may play in the kitchen so I have to go further into the system to get the bedroom playing and cancel the kitchen. There doesn't seem to be a way to ask just the bedroom speaker to play when searching. Any suggestions?

My Sonos Port is in Fixed Volume Mode and connected to my A/V Receiver. I have no idea how, but somehow the device got muted (solid green light), and I can not find the unmute function in the iOS app. I also can not the function to take the device out of Fixed Volume Mode. Any advice?

I have Amazon Music on my Samsung Galaxy and have enabled the Sonos app to play from Amazon Music. I added extra tracks to a playlist the other day but they won’t play as the playlist appears to be limited on Sonos to 100 tracks only. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thank you!

Please provide a way to go back to the old version ASAP. I use Sonos almost exclusively for my local library as it seems many people do and you have again (think bricking...) completely misunderstood your owners and people that have supported and invested in your products for decades. Congratulations on creating another media disaster for the company. I am sure the new app is trending on all platforms with angry users and people looking for alternate products. PLEASE LET US GO BACK to the old version until you sort this out.   

The new app broke my system. On the android app, I lost all connection with my radio stations (sonos radio and my tuner radio) and it’s impossible to delete the music services and try to add them again. The only thing that still works is casting directly from spotify app.My windows 11 computers are all unable to find my devices on my network and it’s impossible to update the app from whitin the software. The only thing that still works properly is the web app…I’m never buying a Sonos product again

Just updated the iOS app and I don’t see any way to search or access my local library on my computer.  I know this was the case when Sonos updated the search feature in the S2 app, but now it seems like there’s no “classic search” option.  What’s the deal?
