How to remove the updated app and install the old version (Android users only)

  1. Stop any music and sign out of Sonos
  2. Uninstall the updated up (black one)
  3. Google Sonos .apk 
  4. Uptodown and apkpure are reliable sources to download from. 
  5. Once downloaded to your android device choose to install 
  6. Change your android setting to allow install from unknown source (you can turn this option back off after install). 
  7. Open the old version of Sonos and let it find your system 
  8. That's it, all music, playlists speakers etc should be restored within the app. 
  9. Turn off auto updates in the Sonos app and in the play store. 
  10. You can sign back into Sonos if your use other services but it will ask you to update, ignore.
  11. Wait until sort out the update and test before updating.

You can do the same with iOs based iPhones and iPads but it’s a little more involved.
