Okay Sonos you have screwed up bigtime with your new app.  First thing to do is fire the people who created it.  Second thing to do is reinstate the previous app and third thing to do is hire some intelligent software writers.

I have been helping a neighbor restore his music library.  The library is there and has been indexed multiple times.  However, when he plays his playlists, the songs are fading in and out or sputtering as they play. Does anyone have any ideas beyond rebooting everything- modem, router, bridge, etc.?

How do I play anything since the update? I can't add to a queue,  I can't see my library, I can't see favourites?

How do I add my One surrounds back to my system after app update?I got the forced app udpate, now my One surrounds are not working.I go in my system / room where the Beam and Surround are listed, I try to add surrounds and after a few minutes I get this error message:  This is the current system I am running: Adding Speaker separately doesn’t work either.My One surrounds are listed in separate systems that I cannot delete anywhere:    I found no way to unlink them and put them back with the Beam + Sub.When I try to update within the System manage menu, the update fails as well:   After clicking try again 5 times and 5 fails, I get this other error and it still doesn’t work: They are powered on !! Wifi connection is great as I am 3 meters away from the router in a clear tv room. The light on my surrounds is white. @SONOS : HELP ME GET MY SURROUNDS WORKING AGAIN ! How do I remove them from the 2 new ‘systems’ you created in the app and add them back to my TV setup?

What happened to my Sonos Favorites and Playlists on the new app?I can’t find the playlists in particular.

I have two groups, lounge and kitchen. Since the new app when adjusting the volume in the lounge (for instance using a tv remote) it also changes the volume in the kitchen which is playing music or radio. The rooms are not grouped. Is this a bug. Help!

Hi All, Would appreciate some help please: I’m not having any success adding a new sub mini to an existing beam 2.  The sub mini is not even being recognised by the new app.   Is the new app the problem ? I’m also tried connecting the sub via an wired connection but still no success. The Beam 2 is connected to the network via an ethernet connection. When going through the new app; adding a new sub to the beam 2 option, the new sub is not coming up at all ; either wirelessly or through the wired connection. Only the existing subs are showing up. I already have other sonos speakers and multiple subs in other groups which are all connected fine before the new app and after. This is the first time I have had  trouble with the new app adding a new products.Any thoughts or workarounds to get the working ? Thanks.   

Sonos app does not play Apple Music via ipad   

I just upgraded to the new version of the app. I understand that it usually takes some time to get used to it. But my major way of listening to music is my local library. Not only can I not fast forward to where I need to go → used to be type a letter and you are thereNor can I not search the library anymore.Until you have this changed back or fixed please tell me how to downgrade the softwareI’m a sonos user for more than a decade and I have thousands of dollars invested. Please let me use my music system again!!!! Sonos does not need to look like Spotify!   

I’ve spent countless hours and lots and lots of money building my mp3 library on my home computer. I’ve spent a LOT of money on a built out Sonos system. Why can’t I play my personal mp3 files on my Sonos system?  I’ve been unable to play my files since the update. I’m beyond mad.

HiI can’t seem to play any music from Apple Music via the new sonos app to my Sonos Arc. I can airplay from the Apple Music app itself but via Sonos app no luck.Press play and just nothing happens, just see the apple logo in the now playing but no music description.Anything I should try or is this new app just not very good currently? Thanks

My saved playlist are not available on the new app version? Why I have to use my old iPad with the previous version so I can play my playlist. Also it’s the same with the Queue that is not working on this version.its an absolutely terrible experience using this version of the app.can I get my old version back? As I hate the new version its RUBBISH 

when I click on a musical piece another musical piece plays instead

I have a Sonos system at home and one at work. Each time I want to use one i have to reconnect to that system with the new app. Beforehand with the other app it would switch to the other location automatically.  Is there a fix ?

My alarm is off by four hours. If I set it for seven it goes off at three. I wanted to get up at seven so I set the alarm for 11 and it went off at seven. Any ideas out there?? (Just switched to new app)

Had trouble yesterday running Trueplay on new app so today decided to delete app and reinstall and now I cannot join my existing system at all! It’s says Sonos needs local access for setup but I’ve checked many times and local access is turned on under iPhone settings. Help!

System has disappeared from upgraded app. Components cannot be found by upgraded app. No music since last week of May 2024. 4 useless Play1 speakers. What can be done?

Hi all,I created a playlist on Soundcloud for a party I was having last week and when it was time to hit play on the music, I realised half of the songs that were in the playlist, were not appearing in Sonos App.Any ideas on how I can fix this?Thank you,J

I want to upgrade my system to S2. I'm afraid to do it with all the bad posts about it lately. Has anyone tried since the update today?

So today my Sonos play one started playing… I went to my app and the living room is no longer on there, only the kitchen and bedroom ones.  so I can’t stop it without unplugging it physically how on earth do I get it back on my app? My husband has the same on his phone the  bedroom and kitchen ones are showing but not the living room. 

Hi, I am unable to stream Amazon music to my Sonos system, I think it may have been since the Sonos app update but not too sure. I can play music on my iPhone but not on Sonos, I get the message “something’s gone wrong” anyone got any idea as to what the problem may be?…..Thanks

I'll be lucky to find any speakers when I open my app. Sometimes there's none, sometimes there's one, and sometimes (rarely) they're all there. Used to work fine on the old app - nothing else in the house has wifi issues (Mesh network). If I am lucky enough to find a speaker, I'll play an album and it'll skip the first 3 or 4 tracks, then when it plays it'll stop again. Putting aside any functional deficiencies, the app is not fit for purpose from a technical perspective. I'm just happy I sold my arc/sub/one setup prior to the app release. Best I can do now is to use my roam as a very expensive Bluetooth speaker! Amazed this was released like this.

We have multiple rooms with Sonos Connect in each.  The new app is randomly switching rooms.  For example, we check the circle, see a check mark and select ‘apply’, music plays for a moment or even a while but then will - on its own - the app will change over to a previously selected room.  Anyone else having this issue or Sonos you have a suggestion?

Dear Sonos, can you please make easier the volume adjustment in the app?Ore by the two buttons from my IPhone ore in the app with two buttons + ore -  , you did have this after the last update but one button is disappear. Thanks for your help, Jhon. 

Updated the version yesterday night and the music library has vanished. Trying to add the music libary, Getting this  message: impossible d’ajouter le dossioer partagé à votre bibliothèque (913)
