I reverted the app last time since I could not play my playlists on SoundCloud. Does anyone know if recent changes fixed this? If I cant use SoundCloud then all that money I spent on these 18 speakers was wasted. That is 95% of the way I use the app.
I’m unable to add Qobuz as a service to Sonos. It fails in the new app and desktop app. No error code just says unable to add.Anyone else having this issue or anyone able to add Qobuz to sonos recently?
When I have attempted to connect my Sonos account to the Jazzed service, the following error message gets returned: Invalid parameter: redirect_uriHas anyone else encountered this issue and, if you did, what did you do to work around it?
With Tidal, the “Artist Radio” hasn't been working since the software update. It now only shows a Playlist of songs, but no way of playing them, short of clicking on each individual song. And then it only plays that song and nothing else. Please help.
I updated the crAPP earlier this morning (Android). No meaningful release notes in the Play Store. Turns out it did restore the alarms section but also required an update of my whole system (goodness knows why). After restarting the crAPP once or twice I eventually had my alarm functionality back. I could not see any other changes. This is positive, although I have lost all and total faith in the SONOS developers and management and fully expect this new update to have broken something else.I don’t know if the iOS crAPP has been updated the same?
Sonos have chosen to “leak” the details of this update to a third party and published a teaser that suggested we would see a major update this week but, as has become normal, have failed to communicate what is happening directly to the users most impacted. All of this goes to prove, to me at least, that Sonos does not care about me the user and my investment in their technology. We are now in the 11th week and Sonos still cannot get their act together and communicate properly.

Recently started having issues with playing music from Apple Music via the Sonos App. Here are steps I’ve already taken to no avail.tried removing Apple Music connection and reconnecting the service.Deleting the Sonos App and reinstallingUsing Alexa voice control will play random music from Apple Music on Sonos, but when I ask to play specific music genres/titles, returns an error saying song cannot be found. any suggestions on how I can troubleshoot?TIA
I should have followed my own advice closer. Yesterday I noticed steaming services were getting blocked if you hadn't updated. There was no way to manage the services in the old app without updating. And once you updated the app it required a system update. So in the course of trying to get SiriusXM removed and re-added I inadvertently allowed a system update to push down. And just like I warned others, the system update blocked access for the old app to control the system. And not just from the device I was using at the time - any device running the old version displays an error in the banner stating this version of the application can no longer control the system. Can't roll back system update that I'm aware of so now I'm stuck with very limited capabilites in the new app. They just hate customers so badly they are going out of their way to force the new app on us.
I sent this to the BBC at the beginning of July:YOUR ENQUIRY:Feedback Summary - Sounds stopped working Feedback Description - Up 'til 23/6 BBC Sounds was working through my SONOS system but it abruptly stopped and all attempts to access it since have failed. I can listen to R4 via the MyTuner addon to my SONOS controller. I have tried uninstalling BBC Sounds on SONOS but when I try to reinstall and connect I getCheck your network connectionThere was a problem getting started. Please check your network connection, then try again. This persists. They replied with generic system advice and suggested getting in touch with Sonos if this didn’t work. I tried various things and described the results:Hi,I have tried the advice in the last reply you sent but, as I thought, it didn't help.I am convinced that it is a problem with the BBC Sounds App on SONOS and not my equipment or setup because:1. It was working well and then suddenly it stopped as I previously reported. 2. I was talking to a fri
I was just wondering if (when streaming music through spotify on sonos), the spotify statistics are recorded. For example, if they contribute to spotify wrapped and if they contribute music recommendations. The reason I’m asking is because i listen to A LOT of music and find a good majority of it through my spotify recommendations but i feel like it’s been off lately which is probably because i play music 90% of the time through sonos.I should also mention that i play music through the spotify app and just uses the speaker as the device. It sounds dramatic but it’s honestly a deal breaker for me.Oh similarly, does anyone know the answer to this question but for amazon speakers (like an amazon dot)
My husbands app on his iPhone is not finding our two Sonos speakers but they work fine on my phone. How do I get him connected?
Hello, I’ve been a loyal Sonos user since 2013, and have several products in my home: Play:1, Play:3, Era 100, One SL, Move & MoveI rely heavily on the feature in the iOS app that allows me to disable the touch controls on each speaker, my kids each have one in their room for audiobooks, and we turn it off when they ought to be in bed / doing homework, etc. but in the new iOS app that feature is gone on all but the One SL!Now to ensure they’re not used, I need to physical unplug the speakers and remove them from the room, a big hassle!I have a few other minor complains about the new app: it’s more work to get to an overview where I can see what’s playing in all the rooms; and I’ve experienced several instances where speakers vanish/reappear, or don’t play when I try to start music.Would love to be able to roll back to an old version until these issues are addressed!
Hi, am having problem with Sonos app ver 80.03.06 which could not find my Sonos1 despite it playing and forces me to “update network” every time I launch the app. Why is this and how to solve this?
I have the latest app update on iOS. Fortunately I can set and edit alarms again now. However, the app is still not functioning properly in this respect: ever since I updated to the redesigned app some weeks ago, which was missing alarm functionality entirely, my phone kept giving me notifications about alarms going of at the times alarms were set prior to the app update. Even though I had since edited the alarm times via the Mac app, I kept getting notifications on my phone at the old set times. Even with the last update, which allows me to see and edit the alarm times again, I keep getting notifications at the old alarm times. Please fix that.
Hi. Is there a reason why I am not able to add any of the Jazz Groove stations into my favorites? They offer five stations. When I try to add any of them to my favorite from in the music service view it keeps saying to try again but no reason is shown why. Then in playing mode, in the lower right corner, the three dots, when I press that, adding as a favorite is not an option. Thanks.

They are starting to block streaming services like Pandora and Sirius XM unless you update the app. Can't even remove and re-add the services unless you update.
I understand Sonos removed volume control from the IOS app using the phone volume buttons some time back. Are there any plans to bring this back? Right now the volume slider is so small that 90% of time when I touch it to change the volume it doesn’t respond. Very frustrating. One additional way of solving this is add up and down arrows somewhere near the volume - note: they need to be large enough and responsive enough to be useful.

Dear managers at Sonos:Could you please, please, please concentrate on improving the new app as quickly as you can with emphasis on making it play music through Sonos speakers? It is well over a month after you promised that the new app would be a great improvement over the previous app. It is still a disaster. About half the time it won’t connect to Sonos speakers. It still comes with messages either saying that there are no Sonos products connected, no services or simply can’t play music for some unknown reason. Then, when it finally grants me the ability to hear some music, it randomly cuts off speakers and songs. What’s up with that? It almost seems like you have gone out of your way to sabotage the Sonos system. When can we expect an app that plays music over Sonos speakers and does it consistently?P.S. I have spent so much time on your mess over the past month that I think it would have been cheaper to hire a musician to play music at my house every day.
I briefly used the new app on one device as i in advertantly updated on an Apple tablet. I was able to use some functions but was asked to sign in for others. Otherwise all my mobile devices are on the last version of S2 and i have not updated any speaker/device hardware and accordingly New App does not work on the one device any longer.I contacted Sonos support to understand if a sign in is required to use the new app for routine functions. In S2, i only needed to sign in, turn on location, bluetooth to provision a new device and then i promptly signed out. Support says that i do not need to be signed in to use my speakers. However as i have read many of the threads and posts here, i am unclear as to whether sign in is actually required to the things i did before ie play music, build playlists, que management, volume changes, speaker groupings etc.Could i please ask for your expert thoughts on whether i will be able to continue to use my speakers without sign in? As you might infer, b
Please, please, please roll back this terrible app release. It’s a disaster. My chief gripes are: no access to Sonos playlists (which is how I manage my music); and my music library has disappeared (which is how I store my music). What a dire customer experience.
The whole point of SONOS is that it “just works” to have music through your whole house (inside and out). Anyone who wants that probably has a Mesh network to be able to connect while they are outside… But Since S2, and now this new PIECE OF GARBAGE APP, SONOS is basically non functioning. IF and thats a BIG IF, IF it even connects to the 10 devices we have, it skips, repeats, songs, etc. It take 30 seconds just to raise or lower the volume or connect a new device. the LAG is insane - and what it looks like, is that for whatever reason the app must be sending what I’m doing first to sonos and then back to our devices…. ITS IS INSANE HOW BAD THIS MOST IMPORTANT PART OF SONOS HAS BECOME. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
Ever since we took the plunge for S2 (including upgrading/purchasing 6 new Sonos unit for S2 compatibility) it’s been a real mess (system stability and WiFi issues)! The iOS version of the S2 app is very slow to load, lags almost always, and has a terrible screen refresh rate compared to ANY iOS app we have in the household. Now 20-40 seconds might not seem like long for an iPhone/Pad app to load/refresh, but if you’re trying to get some quick control over the volume or switching songs this is a STUPID amount of time! S1 was almost instant across all platforms and apps. While I realize Apple can take some blame for issues with iOS apps, why is S2 slow on PC and Amazon Fire (Android) devices as well? I’m guessing I’m not the only one, but Sonos sure seem slow to address this no matter how many times I’ve reported it to support. Anyone else think this degrades the Sonos experience beyond the obvious annoyances (especially compared to the hundred or so other apps we use with NO laggi
