I have the original sonos amp (white one) and just purchased the new black amp. Can I use the power cord from the old amp or do I have to use the one that came with the new amp?
It’s absolutely crazy that Sonos would get rid of the play next or add to queue or add to end of queue feature. It is Ludacris. Do you know how many people use that function? Big mistake buckos.
Hello, I have a setup in my home with 5 outdoor speakers connected to my Sonos amp all with wire through the walls and conduits (was done during the remodel stage). I connect it wirelessly via phones for music easily.i want to buy an outdoor projector which will be able to connect to the system, and I’m pretty lost on how I can do it.any recommendations?

Everything is connected to my Sonos App, but the the sound from the turntable is still incredibly low. Help! The Line-in volume is set to max, but still VERY low sound,
I see “Something went wrong” every time I use the new app now. It is truly appalling! How can anyone release such unfinished and untested trash.Playing a song, grouping speakers, adding a device, I’m expecting that unhelpful message every time I click now.So many bugs.
I am playing Spotify - casting from an iPad to the Port. The port is connect to my Onkyo via analog ¼ in cables. I can’t control the volume from the receiver nor from the Sonos app . It says if is controlled through Sonos. So do I just accept whatever volume it decides to play ? The useless fixed, variable and pass-through settings on the Sonos app seem to have vanished. I’m not quite sure what the “ expected” behavior is supposed go be - but this is an ongoing issue that only seems to be getting worse!
I was at a customer's this morning with a problem with a sonos amp that no longer worked ....By analyzing the system, I see that it has "transformed" into sonos connectI renamed it "to verify"I reset the sonos ampI reinstalled it and named it "living room"In the sonos system there is always this "to verify" that hangs around like a ghost and it is impossible to find an option to delete it (or even delete any other speaker)And this seems to cause problems especially when this ghost is selected ..... or in party modeAnother failure of this f****** S2 update ???? HiPrimary side mosfets were toast. I have replaced burned MOSFETS primary side and diodes. Now it powers on and when I start to play something I get orange white blinking LED. I measured all voltages are ok 3.3, 5,12 but not sure for 36v as the reading shows only15volts. Is this ok. Does voltage rise when playing or can be something else like power supply output schotky diodes which they look fine also. What triggers amber-white statusPlease help
Wat kan ik doen om mn sonos luidsprekers weer te connecten met sonos? Ik heb een port die met bowes/wilkins boxen communiceert en ik heb een sonos luidspreker die nu niet meer te vinden is.
I never had this problem until the mandatory app update. Now the Sonos Connect to my amp and Klipschorn speakers drops off of the controller after about 2 minutes of play. When I go to add the Sonos Connect back, it has disappeared.Does anyone know how to fix this? I have unplugged the Connect, but the problem keeps happening.
Why is the line in when using a turn table so so flakey. This is so frustrating. Why can’t this be fixedcan someone from Sonos please help. I watch tv then turn it off. Then I play vinyl. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. It shouldn’t be this hit and miss. I’m using a Sonos amp gen 2 with a project turn table
All of the sudden my 2 connects keep dropping off after playing for a minute or two. Called tech support and after waiting for over 70 minutes they rep keeps blaming my network…. I said to him if my network was the issue wouldn’t my other 6 units have the same issues, his response, “you have a point...”Is anyone else have issues with connects ?
Merci d’avance; Damien
I am no longer able to set my Sonos port to variable volume output since the new software was updated. Where can I locate this to be able to change the port to variable volume versus fixed volume where it is currently at?
I would like to achieve the following with the least amount of hardware, if possible:Use the Sonos Beam 2 soundbar bundle to connect w/ TV for audio (Family Room) Add 2 Eras 300 speakers for surround (Family Room) Add 2 Eras 100 speakers for music (Patio) Add Sonos Amp with a pre-amp to support a turntable (Family Room)Questions:Will this setup work? Assuming the Home Theater will work, can I use this to play music from the turntable and other services in Family Room? Can I use this setup to play music on patio, while using HT components for movie? Bonus: Can I play music from turntable on Patio? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello, let me first start by saying i am not a complete novice. i have 9 Sonos Devices and have bought broken units and self repaired 3 of them. that being said, i can NOT GET THIS STUPID THING TO UPDATE upon setup. i bought a used Connect:Amp from Marketplace. i tested before i left their house and it was working fine, but i forgot and didnt transfer ownership before leaving. i can successfully perform a factory reset and get to the blinking green LED and i can even add it to my system. however, on the system settings page of the app, i get a message that says ‘Connect:Amp is not registered’ and when i click it, i get the option to ‘fix it’. the setup screen pops up again and and prompts to get an update before continuing and that is when i cant continue. i get Error 1,002. i cannot get this thing to complete (or even start) and update. not on wifi, not over ethernet, i have moved it to different locations including right next to the router… I even tried to use the S1 app but since
I have a new home with a stereo wall system with 8 wired speakers and wanted to be able to also connect my Sonos speakers to play simultaneously throughout my home. I have 1 Beam, 1 Arc, and about 8 Sonos Ones that I am trying to get to play music at the same time as the wall stereo system wired speakers. I bought a Sonos port but am unable to play all at the same time (it is either play the wired speakers via blue tooth only or play my Sonos speakers only but not altogether). Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

System disappeared, had to reset and reload everything, still doesn’t work, spent hours. Despite being on the same network, restarted routers, amps, phones. Sonos Should roll back the updates. I don’t want to spend more hours messing with this. Considering other systems.
Hi I have a System Nuvo Player from Legrand that was discontinued in 2021 and now the speakers started to fail, the amplifier is a NV-P3500, can i buy sonos speakers and connect to it ? or will they get damaged ? Tanks
Explicit content filter is not working on the new junky app. It’s turned on and the songs are tagged as explicit song. It’s awful as I have young kids.
I currently have a Outdoor SpeakersSonance - MAG6.1 - Mag Series 6.1-Ch. Landscape Outdoor Speaker System Powered by SonosMy question is I want to upgrade the outdoor subwoofer to a larger size. Do I have to upgrade the amp too or can I keep the current amp. Or can I buy a separate amp/system for just the outdoor subwoofer.Thank you
Did the option to setup Sonos amp with Mono Speaker configurations get remove?
Wow Sonos...Wow. Can you figure out a way to make your app suck more than it does? Couldn’t add a port for 2 weeks to an account. Now I can, but it won’t play music on its own. If I group it to another zone that is playing music, then it will play. But if I want it stand alone as another zone, nope. Doesn’t work. Then you take away the fixed/variable audio output. Why? Who thought that was a smart decision? When does the CEO take responsibility for this train wreck? Have you seen the Sonos stock price? Wow.Has the CEO bothered to read the forums? Don’t see to many happy folks out there. How does someone allow engineering come out with a product that they “tested” only to produce this garbage and not have an ability to roll back to the previous app until the actual bugs are fixed?I have a buddy who is a Sonos dealer, he stopped selling Ports because they won’t reliably work. He sells hundreds of them. Sonos says they know about the issues and will eventually fix them, bu
Hi, looking for some advice on setup. Here is my current set up:I am so far unable to set this up for app free use. It feels like something very simple that i am missing. I just want to be able to watch tv with sonos, then turn it off and play records via port….and vice versa without using the app. Its important as if im not home, wife/kids should be able to use either.thanks for your time.
