Hi!As others, I had the pleasure of waking up to loud music at around 1.15 in the middle of last night, as one of our Play:1 started playing music. It was something we listened to a couple of weeks ago, and haven’t been using the speaker since.i just ran a diagnostic, but unfortunately I didn’t know about the feature last night. Is there someone who can help me look into what happened?I unplugged the speaker to make sure it didn’t happen again. My diagnostic number: 2094442993
Only affects the kitchen zone, sometimes the speakers are in sync, sometimes they will play with a half second or so delay between L&R. What is happening??
HeyI have trouble with my Playbar and sub when I listen to music from the radio station, the Playbar when out for some second and get back again.I have 5 play 1 and one Playbar + sub the play 1 are in each rum and there are no problems and the Playbar + sub is in my living rum and the Playbar+ sub is connected to my TV via fiberoptics cable and it’s worksAll my Sonos are connected to WIFI via TP-Link deco M5 and in the living rum the Playbar + sub is connected with cable from deco M5 unit.
I have a sonos S1 system which comprises 5 older connect amps connected to ceiling speakers, one newer Sonos amplifier and one Sonos One. I also have multiple amazon echos and I have 2 Sky Q boxes. All are on the same enterprise level network and all the Sonos equipment is on wired Cat6, not wireless. In the Spotify app, when I select devices, I cannot see any of the Sonos speakers or amps. I see all off the echo devices no problem and I see the 2 sky boxes. My Spotify account is linked in the Sonos S1 app and I can play Spotify no problem through the Sonos S1 app (albeit with the usual limited functionality). If I start Spotify through the Sonos app and then launch Spotify app from within the Sonos app, the Spotify app does not see that I'm using Sonos as a device and the device menu does not detect the Sonos system, despite the fact that the music is streaming though the sonos speakers. Under Airplay, I can use the 2 airplay compatible devices but none of the others. I have unlinked
Hello everyone.I’ve had a Sonos set up for years now and this isn’t a new problem, but I’m only just getting round to asking for help.I have a Sonos Connect that is cabled into my router in my living room. All other devices are connected via wifi (Netgear Orbi w 2 satellites). The other devices in the set up are Connect:Amp, a Play:3 and 3x Play:1’s.The problem I have is that (pretty much every time) the Connect will temporarily lose connection or sounds for 10-20 seconds, whilst the other devices playing in the same group continue to play just fine. Some times it can drop out multiple times in a session. The Connect is the only device to have this problem though. Can anyone offer any help?Diagnostic report: 980666758 Many thanks,
Hi community, In the last days/weeks (wasn’t home for holidays, can’t tell when it exactly started), my usual alarm using Spotify playlist “wake up and smell the coffee” (about 100 songs I would say) doesn’t start and instead chime alarm runs.when I take the Sonos app on the phone and start the exact same playlist, music starts normally. Based on previous posts, I can exclude the internet connection problems, I checked it, the Spotify account is premium and the playlist is official Spotify with not too much songs. I’ll continue my investigation but if someone has ideas, feel free to share.best regardsdavid
The App (Version is actual) los the sonos devices. After Restart of all System it works for few hours. After that time the App can't connect to the sonos devices. It's going on my nerves, what can I do to fix this issue?
I have a fast blinking light on Connect Gen 2. I’ve tried reseting but it just keeps blinking white. The ethernet ports are also blinking. It doesn’t appear on my network.
SonoS arc not playing Dolby Atmos from Phillips Tv built in apps and Fire StickI have the following set upTV Phillips 65OLED754/12SONOS ARC with SonoS Play1’s as rearsSky Q latest 2TB box with HDR support connected to a HD Fury Arcada with the eARC out going to SonoS ARC and the HDMI out going to the HDMI 1 (ARC) on the TV.Amazon 4K Fire Stick connected to HDMI 4 on the TV.I’m using the HD Fury Arcada because of the lip sync issues when using Sky Q.Issue: When watching Netflix using the built in App on the TV, programs show up as Dolby Atmos on the screen if they are in Atmos but when played they do not play in Atmos or DD 5.1. The sound appears to only come out of the SonoS ARC with no sound from the rears. This is the same for playing from the FireStick on programs from prime and Apple App on the FireStick which are available in Atmos (I appreciate that Netflix on the Fire stick does not provide Atmos). The SonoS S2 app shows audio in as ‘Silence’ or occasionally nothing appears ag
When I connect to the SL One via Airplay, my phone shows it’s connected and playing but there is no sound. I have to also connect to one of the TV’s, then the sound comes out of both the Sonos and TV. After that, I disconnect from the TV and the Sonos continues to work.
I’ve got a big network of Sonos devices. One of them, a newer Play 5 gen 2, just stopped working (the rest are still working fine). There’s no LED, unplugging and replugging doesn’t help (it’s completely unresponsive). Tried plugging it in to a different outlet, still dark. I’ve verified that the outlet has power.Anything else I can try to bring it back to life?
After a Router change I followed the instructions to reconnect my Sonos system, connecting one of my 5 devices to the router with an ethernet cable, ticking the ‘more than 1 device’ box. However only that one device is now working, the others aren't showing in my system on the app. I have rebooted them all, gone back to the app checked settings, networks, but then don't get the ‘wireless setup’ just the name of the network in use. Trying the ‘add device’ route doesn't work as it doesn't pick up the devices even though I am next to them.Any ideas how I restore the rest of my devices to the system please?
My play 1 has been working fine for two years until today. It's just stopped playing sound. The controller says it's there....it can pause music on my network (I have a 2 fives a 3 and a beam). But it won't all of a sudden play sound. I've unplugged .reset.. reconnected and taken it out of the group...but no luck ? Haven't changed any WiFi settings ....it just stopped ?
Merci d'avance. Olgo
I’ve had a Move for about 3 months. Recently the battery died and I put it back on the charging base. When I went to use it in a few days, it wasn’t found on my system. I checked the physical unit and the light on the top just blinks white. The battery light is also showing red.I’ve tried rebooting it and resetting it. However both of those solutions require holding the power button until it turns the white light off/powers off. My unit WILL NOT do that. I’ve held the power button down for as long as 2+ minutes, with no effect.I’m at a loss what to do next. Other than contact Sonos support, which I’ll do at some point, does anyone have any suggestions?
My small sonos system is a Connect Amp ( gen1 ), a Play3 and a Beam. The Connect amp is wired to the ethernet via a Powerline that also served several other wired devices. Beam and Play 3 are on wifi. The system has been solid since I first installed it many years ago. The Beam was installed in 2019. Absolutely no issues.Yesterday I went to play some music via the connect amp and Sonos S1(11.2.4 Build 57483220 ) and everything had disappeared. I tried the app on another iphone - same.I then tried everything I could to recover the system and devices for a good hour but in the end gave up and had to reset each in turn and rebuild the system.Just before doing this I had checked that the router and all other net devices were working and there was no log alert on it. All other devices were working normally including a smart TV and Fire TV wired to the same powerline connector as the connect amp. The ip cameras ( also wired ) showed no break in operation between the last time I had So
Why do I get random single pulse sounds coming through my speaker?
I’m a long time Sonos owner with 16 units throughout our house. I’m still on S1 since there are a few older units I’m hesitant to replace yet (Port x1, Amp x2, Connect x2, Connect Amp x1, Play:1 x3, SYMFONISK Shelf x6, SYMFONISK Lamp x1).It seems that each time I assign my SYMFONISK speakers a room name, it works for a few hours and will show up fine, but within a day they rename themselves ‘Speaker’. See attached screenshot. It makes it impossible to know how to target those speakers since there are several with the same ‘Speaker’ room name. The odd thing is that doesn’t seem to impact *all* of the SYMFONISK/Ikea speakers. For example the one I called “Office Speaker” that is a pair seems to remember its room name, but the pair I used to call “Coffee” reverts to ‘Speaker’. All of this was working great until when I recently added the new Port and Amp units into the mix, though I’m not sure if that’s the cause of this or not. I am connecting to my sonos system from the iOS Spotify app. The app and the S1 controller both show that the Spotify app is connected but there is no sound from the speakers.
I have a flat at work. Sonos 5. Scholl building. Nor oruter access. I plug in my laptop through the headphone jack. Play spotify, play on the Sonos, Rapid orange flash and nothing… What can I do?
Hi. I have been a sonos user for many years.I am now unable to log in to the web site. I consistently get messages right after providing my password that ‘sonos.com can’t handle my request’.Due to the above, I am using another sonos.com account. This account works great from all my machines. The other account is inaccessible from all of my other devices and machines (except the sonos app -- that works fine). Due to this disparity, I believe that the problem is on the server end, and it is not related to my devices in any way.I have a lot of sonos devices. Probably well over 30. Is it possible that sonos is choking on this somehow? I just moved about a dozen of them to this new account, hoping to ‘fix’ the login problem, but it didn’t work.If any sonos employees want to look into this, the email address that I am having the problem with is the same as the one I am posting from, except for the bit appended after the “.”.Please advise?
Hello, This morning my sonos alarm failed to turn on. In addition, the sonos chime didn't come on either. The alarm is setup and enabled still. It's set to use a Spotify playlist. I've submitted a diagnostic (number 301278432). Could a kind support representative please take a look and see what the issue is? Many thanks
I am getting SONOS repeating (skipping back) on Radioplayer: diagnostic 573682643.
Ok, so I wanted to set up my existing Play 1s to work with a CD player and a record player so I got a ZP80, an RCA switch, and a phono pre-amp. Good enough. However, the sound stopped coming from the CD player periodically (no rhyme or reason) and now I am not getting any sound from the CD player, whatsoever. The CD player is working according to the display (I can see the track progressing) but no sound. And I have no trouble at all with streaming or record playback, so that is odd. Seriously considering going back to old-fashioned speaker if I can’t get this to work. Can somebody throw me a bone? Thanks!
Hello,I purchased a Move this week.I have set up Last.fm scrobbling as per this page:https://support.sonos.com/s/article/803?language=en_USMy Spotify account was already connected to my last.fm account. Now when I play songs through the Sonos app, the tracks are scrobbled twice (duplicate scrobbles). They only appear as one scrobble until I use Spotify on another device (for example my phone speaker or Xbox) at which point the duplicates appear. If I start the Spotify app and "cast" to the Sonos speaker, the scrobbles only appear once I stop casting and play a song in Spotify away from Sonos systems (for example my phone speaker or Xbox). These are not duplicates.I have seen others posting about this issue however I was wondering if anybody had a way around this behaviour since neither options above are ideal. Many thanks for any help!
