Hi everyoneafter hours of talking to sonos customer support since my system wasnt working, I changed my wifi router, as per their recommendation, reset one play 1 (I have another play 3 and a Connect that I havent reset) after HOURS on the phone and multiple attempts with rhe new router I finally mamaged to conect the play 1- on sonos s2 and I lost all my sonos playlists…. Worst customer experience ever. Any hacks to recover these ? I havent set up the rest of my system
I received my Amp yesterday. I have it powering two Polk 80F/X-LS in-ceiling speakers for surrounds. The rest of my setup is an ARC and Sub.Does Sonos have a test tone feature yet? In receiver-based setups, one can always generate a test tone on a channel-by-channel basis and, if desired, set the speaker level using a sound pressure meter. I use the test tones to make sure everything is connected and then after running room correction software (Truplay for us), I run the test tones again with a SPM to make sure the levels are reasonable.I think the answer to my question is NO, but SONOS, are you considering this feature for the future?
I have had a playbase connected to my Samsung TV for 2 years now and have never been able to power on my playbase to listen to music unless the TV is also powered on. if I’m listening to music through Spotify on my iPhone app, the Playbase will turn off 5 minutes after my TV turns off.
Hi. I’ve done a lot of digging to no resolve. Hopefully something simple I’m missing. Background:I have a small home, with google nest wifi in every room of the house. I have Sonos beam + 2x ones in the living room, and a play one in the study, that work perfectly. The problem:I have a Sonos play one in the bedroom- sitting right next to a google nest wifi point, that always cuts in an out. the google wifi app tells me it has a weak connection, yet everything else connected in the entire house has strong connections. Is there a simple problem I’m missing? Or a faulty product? i can’t change wifi channel because apparently google selects the best one automatically.
hi all! i have a xiaomi projector hooked up directly to an arc, sub, two one sls, nothing else.https://www.mi.com/global/mi-laser-projector-150/specs/able to get dd+5.1 on netflix but only stereo pcm on disney+. any advice please? tried reaching out to disney and they said the xiaomi projector is not compatible with disney+? HELP, thank you!
I have (2) 5.1 setups. Both amps were hooked up and working. Suddenly one rooms surrounds stopped working but it says it is connected. If I remove both surrounds I can hook up either room of surrounds with one amp but when I go to put the living room surrounds back to the living room amp the media room surrounds won’t work. They say they are connected but no sound comes out?
Apple TV and Apple Music - possibly NetflixListening to Apple Music in Atmos mostly and all is great for about 20 min. Then the audio will suddenly mute. No sound from speakers. Pause and play will not work and either skip forward to next sound or exit out of music a step to 2 and restart. The above has been the case for weeks. Until I returned back home after a week without any use. Now same kind of thing is happening but instead of muted or dropped audio I hear static tones and white noise. The static audio is random sounding not necessarily to the same beats as the song. Seems like the static sounds replaces the muted issue as mentioned. No updates as I know of no changes to content and usage.
Hi Community,I’m not able to pair the remote controller of my new TCL 55 C721 with the Playbar. I tried a lot of time but it seems the infrared signal is not recognized by the playbar. Can anyone help me? Thank you,Alessandro
Hello,I have just changed my TV for a TCL 65C825, but the remote doesn’t seem to be recognized by the Playbase ?It’s a RC802NU1 remote, I confirm that it’s an IR remote (I have tested it with my cam). The Playbase works fine with an other remote, so it looks like it doesn’t understand the code sent by the TCL remote.Have you ever experienced such issue please ?
I have been running the Syrinscape app on my ipad and using airplay to play the music on my Sonos system (two symfonisk lamps) for a while without issues. Today I added a Sonos Roam to my system. Now the sound from the Syrinscape app is no longer played from the Sonos speakers, eventought my ipad is still connected to the speakers. The sound now only comes from the ipad speaker. Every other app I use on the ipad still has its sound redirected to the Sonos speakers. Anyone an idea what could cause just one app to malfunction?
I have two One/One SL pairs (each a stereo pair), one in my office and once in the TV room. From my iMac (running Big Sur) I can airplay to the TV Room pair but I cannot pair to the office pair.I’ve gone thru most of the troubleshooting steps I’ve seen here -- rebooting router, computer, speakers. Both pairs have one speaker with ethernet and the other with WiF. As far as I can tell they are set up the same -- I didn’t do anything fancy when I set them up. My next step is to swap the speakers (i.e Office → TV Room, TV Room → Office) but that is going to be a bit work so I thought I’d ask here first.
Hey guys a quick question? I powered up my Play 1 the other day and I heard a pop and crackling coming from inside. Now I can't even get the light to come on I have tried other power cords as I have another two onboard. Is it goosed or is it possible to get them fixed?
Intermittent thumping coming from speaker when quiet music is played. Any thoughts? I read someone else”s thread with same issue.
Hi, we've been noticing this issue for the past few weeks: when a TV is turned on, unrelated rooms that are also not grouped with the TV may begin playing music. Here is a Diagnostic captured a minute or two after the issue occured: 605248757We have 3 tvs in the house, each has either a Beam or an Arc.To reproduce this occasional problem:1. Make sure all Sonos products are not playing any audio.2. Turn on a TV that is connected to either a Beam or an Arc.3. Observe the connected product will properly begin playing TV audio, but other products will begin playing music.Let me know if you need any more info, thanks!
I have multiple zones of speakers with my Sonos Amps, and would like to use my outdoor rooftop speakers (powered by Sonos Amp) for audio output when I’m watching a moving on my outdoor projector. I currently use Chromecast to play content on my projector but there isn’t a way to play video on the projector and get audio to push to Sonos. Is what I’m trying to achieve possible? Would it be better to get a Apple TV to connect to the projector?Current state I have to connect a portable speaker via 3.5mm to the projector but would be a much better experience with my outdoor speakers. Alternatively I think I could purchase a Sonos 5 and connect that to the projector via 3.5 to act as a “center” speaker and bridge to the Sonos Amp. But honestly that’s overkill and wouldn’t use the Five for anything but one off movies on the rooftop. Appreciate the help.
I unplegged the speakers for the holiday, when I came back the group is not working anymore. They all work on their own, if I group them it works only the latest one was playing.
Cannot conncte to Sonos after hours of troubleshooting attempt. Any one had the same issue before? The system worked fine for years. There was an issue for the connected Wifi some point and no devices could connect to it as SSID dissapeared form the list of SSIDs.During the time of Wifi dissapearance, the Sonos devices worked on another Wifi NW.After rebooting NW devices the dissapeared NW came back. Tried to have Sonos back to the old Wifi NW. ‘Fix it’ ended with ‘Cannot connect to Sonos’ message. S2 app was reset and Sonos devices all rebooted but it did not change anything. Used App is Sonos S2, Sonos one SL x5 installed. Cisco router → Cisco Switch → AP → 3 SSIDs → Sonos Boost
I have Sonos throughout the house, including an Amp and surrounds in the living room, Fives upstairs - and Play:1s and One SLs downstairs, across multiple rooms.Always worked perfectly until a couple of months ago. I’ve switched to Qobuz, so presumably data throughput is higher than when everything was Spotify, Mixcloud, Bandcamp, etc. However - that doesn’t really explain the problem as far as I can tell. When I join the Kitchen speakers to the Veranda (both stereo pairs), I get massive dropouts. The Veranda is the closest room in the house to the kitchen. Individually, the zones play music absolutely fine. Different albums on Qobuz at the same time in every room, no problem. Same album at the same time when grouped, if Kitchen and Veranda are both in the mix, always results in terrible dropouts.I bought a Boost in the hopes that might help. We’re on a Google mesh wifi setup, which I understand is problematic unless you connect the Boost directly into the main hub, which I’ve done. I’v
..it is so frustrating. The Spotify connection is very intermittent;Yesterday Sonos played perfectly for 12 hours and then disappeared completely from my Mac and iphone necessitating a complete reboot of speakers, router and gigaclear range extenders... the second time in three days. It come back up but takes 15minutes to achieve this... My mac is hardwired and the gigaclear range extenders are wireless; I have a 100megabit fibre connection and no near neighbours … why does my sonos keep failing??
Hello; my you tube premium service has been working fine and then today in some of my playlist specific songs are appearing grey and not playing via Sonos App siting ‘Your account is being used in another location’! Note I can still play the playlist via YouTube app. Also I have deleted and re installed the YouTube service within the Sonos App. Please could some help to fix this issue? thanks
Is there any real fix for Spotify losing connection over Sonos? So far there are only tips offered on the forums.Spotify is completely unusable for me over Sonos for a few weeks now. All other services play fine!
My Sonos only works sometimes. Is everyone feeling the same level of garbage tech? Support does not work…chatbot nothing.
I recently moved, so I’m setting up my system again. However, I’m having a strange issue. I have 8 speakers (9 but one setup is stereo Sonos Ones), all latest generation. The main difference between this new system and my old system is that all the speakers are WiFi until I can get some wires around the house. My old house had several speakers wired (not with SonosNet).I’m having two issues. First, sometimes one controller won’t see all the speakers. For example, my computer right now only sees 5/8 speakers, but my phone and iPad sees all. Come back an hour later, and things will change. This setup was an absolute rock for years prior (I’ve been using Sonos since the the year of their founding). I’ve toyed with STP, RSTP, rebooting switches, reboot routers, rebooting EVERYTHING, reseting speakers, etc. Nothing seems to impact that over time controllers lose speakers and then find them again. The second issue is that I can’t reliably join. For example, I have speaker Family Room and anot
I've had some WiFi issues and was logged out of my S2 app. When I tried to log back in the app keeps asking me for the details of my sons account. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it keeps defaulting to his account. Can anyone offer a solution?
