Hello,I had a playbar, several ones, a sub and a ZP100. All running via S1 app. Just purchased an arc, which required move to S2. The ZP100, as expected, is dropped from the S2 system. The ZP100 is also dropped from my system list shown against online account. The problem is that I would like to (a) continue to use the ZP100 and/or (b) claim the trade up discount. Wrt (a) ive reset S1 app which allows option to creating a new system, despite many attempts including factory reset ZP100, the s1 app doesn’t find it - any ideas? Btw, ZP100 had latest firmware, ethernet cable connected, has white / orange flashing status light on power up for a few seconds, then moves to flashing green mute button. Wrt (b) it appears that to claim online the trade up discount, your product must appear in your system list, which it doesn't. Im guessing that solving (a) above would solve this too? any help really appreciated. thanks.
Hi. I ordered a pair of fives a few days ago. Got The shippingdate 2020-11-06, then it got changed to 2020-11-20. Got problems in manufacturing process or what?
I have a 1st generation sonos one.I am thinking of buying a beam, sonos sub and another sonos one to have 5.0 surround sound. Will a generation 2 sonos one work with generation 1?Thank you
Hi. I've registered 2 items ( bridge and play 5 1st gen) However when I try to buy new beam and sub it only gives me option of discount on one item, although I believe I should have 2 credits, is this correct? Thanks,Stuart
Hi, I am interested in buying a Sonos system for the 16 hardwired speakers in the ceilings of my house. They are in 5 different areas. (4 outdoor on my Deck, 4 in Living room & kitchen, 4 in upstairs rumpus room, 2 in study & 2 in main bedroom). I want to be able to play music in all rooms at once and also to just play it in certain areas while other rooms stay quiet. I am just wondering is it possible to connect all these? And what Sonos hardware do i need to buy if so? Cheers Ben
I’m planning to set up an amp with four speakers--two sonance outdoor speakers and two previously installed ceiling mount outdoor speakers (this is replacing an older generation amp that does not support S2). How can I make sure the volume level between the four will balance? Thanks!
Hi Everyone, Does anyone know if Sonos ships to South Korea? I would like to purchase a new Play5, but it doesn't look like that’s an option for me? Thanks! - J
I need advice for getting Sonos surround sound. I am interested in buying an ARC and would like to run 2 two Sonos 1’s as my rear speakers. I know with older S1’s you need the connect. Is the same true of the Gen 3’s? I am also thinking I may need/want to get a new tv which would likely have Bluetooth connectivity. Is that the best way to connect to surround sound? Thanks.
I do need procedure for purchasing any SONOS device in Spain (my account) and delivered at UK (gift) with UK plugs system
I'm about to make the leap and invest in Sonos gear. 15 ft. x 25 ft. living room. Either two play 5s with a sub or a Amp with 4 play ones with a sub. What's the opinion on sound difference?? From what i understand using the play ones vs the play fives I will get a better high end treble sound and the sub obviously can handle all the bass. For me its all about connectivity, the amp would be nice to have but i cant find any definitive info showing how they work with the amp. Any help would be appreciated.
We are in the process of finalising our plans and builder has suggested we explore option of pre-wiring Sonos for four different zones. House also has provisions for some Cat6. Can provide copy of proposed floor /electrical plan if required
I currently have a Sonos Amp with a Denon CD player connected to it, works perfectly. I’m thinking of investing in a turntable to play albums I recently got as presents and dusting off my old collected. The question relates to purchasing a turntable more than likely the Pro-Ject T1 Phono turntable, will this work with a Sonos Port as the existing Sonos Amp has the CD player connected to it. Are there any potential issues or just straight forward setup, or is there a better setup?
hi all, just got my sonos home theater setup and am very happy with the system. my question is about the surround sound speakers...sonos one. i’m thinking about using speaker stands but i’ve read all the reviews/posts and it seems that there aren’t any speaker stands that keep the ones very secure. anyone have any experience or make a recommendation on stands that would keep the ones secure on a stand? i have kids and dogs and i would rather not take the chance. thx!
Hi,I am about to buy a sonos connect s15 from 2017. From what I understand this work with the S2 app, but can i trade it up for a 30% voucher and continue to use it on the sonos s2 app?
Working on a Christmas gift. My son recently purchased a One SL, great speaker. And later purchased a UTurn turntable with built in pre amp. I have been trying to figure out the best option to incorporate his turntable with this speaker. I have been looking at the Five and also the Port. If you connect the turntable to the Five can you also connect the One SL to play music? Or would the Port be the better option? I’m an old guy so please keep it simple lol. So would the Five or Port be a better solution and why. Thank you for time and explanation
OK, so I fancy a stereo pair of Fives as my main system, but as far as I know the Five is not Alexa enabled, so if I also have a Move, could I ask Alexa on the Move to play through the Fives? I know I could do this cheaply with an Echo Dot but I fancy a Move anyway, as a portable
Hi, if I have two Moves in a stereo pair, what happens if I take one to a different room temporarily? Does it recognise it has been moved and switch to mono or would I have to unpair the two then re-pair them when I return the Move to its normal place?
Hi -- I have two connect:amps and am interested in upgrading them for the newer amps. For some reason, one of them shows up as upgrade eligible and the other doesn’t. Is there a way to find out why this or, and/or to get my currently non-eligible one added to the upgrade program? Thanks for any help you can offer!
Hi All.I have a playbar and want to use it in a cinema set up with our 85 inch tv. Question is is it best to use it just with a sub, or buy Sonos cinema system and get rid of playbar. Any advice or suggestions welcome.
Hi TeamMy home has wired ceiling speakers which are independent over two floors. If I run two AMPs for each floor can IPlay the same audio across both AMPs Create up to 4 zones (2 on each AMP) and play different audio in each zone or mute say 1 or two zones across the AMPs whilst playing through the other zones (each speaker on each floor has independent connection) Sync ARC sound bar to zone in same room but with ability to choose to only play through ARC or through ceiling speakers and ARC as I choose Have different volumes per ZoneQuite a few q’s I know but keen to make the right decision here and at least understand how it works. Pretty new to Sonos so all help really appreciated.Cheers
I would like to buy a record player and play my vinyl records through a pair of Sonos One speakers. Is this possible and, if so, can anyone recommend a record player which would be a good match for the speakers? Thanks!
I’m confused about whether the port is only needed if you have a traditional turntable you want to connect to Sonos or do you also need the port to connect a Sonos turntable to the rest of the Sonos system.
Hi! So I suck at setting up home audio. My question may sound elementary for many but I wanted to see if anyone had a solution here. I own the following Sonos items: (1) Sonos Amp and (2) Sonos Play 1s.I recently purchased a home that has 2 wired outdoor speakers installed. What I would like to do is setup my living room TV with my Sonos Amp and 2 Sonos Play 1s WHILE also connecting the 2 wired outdoor speakers to the living room amp. What I DO NOT want to happen is when I watch my living room TV for the sound NOT to play on the 2 wired outdoor speakers. Rather I’d like to operate the outdoor and indoor speakers separately (i.e., music being played outdoors while the basketball game playing indoors) but I’d also like to have the option of playing all rooms together if I were to listen to music. Hope that makes sense. Is there a way to do this without purchasing more equipment?
I have 2 Sonos One gen.2 speakers and want to connect my CD player. What do i need to do that?
