What to get

Sorry for the dumb question.  But, I have a sonos amp which is connected to a turn table and also have a sonos arc connected to my tv via HDMI/arc.  I am looking to add a speaker to my den and bedroom with the ability to stream from my amp.  Are there any issues with adding a few Sonos One (Gen 2) speakers to my set up ?  Thanks for helping a novice out.

I got an email saying I haven’t sold $10,000 worth of product… in the middle of a 9 month pandemic and lockdown. I had plenty of work, but SONOS didn’t have product- not for me or my distributors… So I had to buy retail and make no money for the sake of the job.I am disgusted at this treatment as someone who has been a direct dealer at silver status for 8 years or so. Pushing SONOS as my go to whole home audio solution, I’ve been asked to lean towards Yamaha and Heos. I never did. Sonos was it. And now as of the 13th, I’m out. I can’t seem to get my account manager to call me back, so I guess they don’t care about the small business owner… it’s all about the numbers. Anyone else here going through this?Bryan, Accent AV

I wanted to pair a Move with my wife’s Lenovo DESKTOP that runs Win10. I had an old LogiTech USB/BT adapter that I tried, but no joy. Probably just meant for their BT keyboards & mice. To prove out the concept, I DID successfully pair that Move with my MS SurfaceBook, which runs Win10. Now my question: has anyone successfully paired a Move with a DESKTOP PC that runs an external (USB) Bluetooth adapter? If so, what BT adapter did you use (/do you recommend)? Hi folks, I’ve been reading a bit and i’m seeing mixed messages.  Here’s my situation:  I have a current hard-wried 4.1 system in my living room.  My home is an open floor plan with the living room, kitchen, eat-in and formal dining all “open” on the main floor.  I want to add some sonos 1’s around these auxiliary areas to have music spread across the space.  I first tried a Port to my existing AVR, but had sync issues (grossss)….  So now I’m wondering how to solve for my TV/Living area… options I’m considering:2x AMPs with my existing bookshelf speakers & in-ceiling speakers/sub to run a 4.1 setup in the living room If possible, could I replace my existing bookshelves with 5’s and use 1 AMP to power the in-ceilings for a 4.1 setup… (not sure if this would work.) Some other idea?  I don’t like the idea of wasting/not utilizing my built in ceiling speakers… To cut this off at the pass, I can’t / wife won’t do any form of sound bar, so that’s out of the question here. Open to ideas.

Hi everyone,I know this subject has been discussed many times but before to buy a Sonos Port, I’d like to have confirmation of my setup :  Playbar : connected with optical cable to my TV 2x Play:1 are used/synced for Surround 2x Other Play:1 in other roomsIn the end, I would like to use my Sonos Speakers System to listen music from my Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT turntable (Mandatory : using of Multi-room). I understood that the Sonos AMP and Sonos Port can do the job. Sonos AMP if I’m using 3rd parties speakers and Port if not. Is it correct ? According to you I just need a Sonos Port and connect the RCA cable between my turntable and it.  Thanks in advance.

Hello to all.I’m a happy Sonos user, so far only with three Play:1s and one Sonos one SL.My current system is built as follows: two Play:1s coupled in stereo in the living room and the remaining two speakers in other rooms.It’s been awhile since I would like to get an upgrade for better listening, but I have two “needs”: better music quality in my living room which is quite big (about 40 square meters) and better sound from my TV set.new Arc is far too expensive at the moment Beam would be an option but, question: is it possible two couple it only with my pre-existing stereo pair made by two Play:1 and have the whole system connected to tv by an HDMI-arc connection? What do you think is the effect of this latter option for both general music listening in a large living room and also for use with TV? My other option would be a Sonos Five. This would be perfect for music but only works with tv through a normal jack, as if it was a headphone, sonot the best most probably.Do you guys have

 I have a pair of One SL, the arc and the sub (gen3) all connected and working together. My question is if I replace the pair One SL with the in ceiling speakers with it be compatible and plays well with the other devices? Also would the amp be necessary at this point?  thank you

Cheers, Eventually answers to my questions could be found in Sonos Support and FAQ. I could not be assure of the right answer and the situation has some minor particularities. I was not able to find a recent topic that includes this doubts. Since it is a considerable investment I post here my questions hoping they can be answered. Hi,I'm currently running a beam+one+one+sub setup, and I feel that the beam is kind of s bottle neck when listening to music.I am now considering to pick up a used playbar and sell the beam (offcourse after some listening and comparing). Any thoughts on this? What are the pro's and con's? One question that I can think of is, will the volume of the playbar be adjusted when I adjust the volume of my TV?And another thing, how long do you think the playbar will be supported in S2? Kind regards

How should I go about connecting a phono player to the Playbase with only one optical input? Do I get a DAC and a 2x1 optical switch to plug my TV and phono (from the DAC) into and then send the output of the 2x1 optical switch to my Playbase or am I overthinking this and there’s an easier solution like the Port?

I have a lot of Connect and Connect Amp products and I wish to trade up here in UK. I tried to purchase multiple units just now but Sonos are out of stock with their Sonos Amp. Can anyone from Sonos tell me when these are due back in stock? I would really like to do this ASAP.Thanks

Hi, I'd like to use my trade up credit (30% discount) to purchase a Beam and gen 3 Sub however the set has been discontinued in the UK. Buying separate isn't an option as I would only get the discount on one of the items.Will this set be replaced? The difference in price is significant if I can't purchase with 30% discount on both items.This set still seems to be available in the US shop but not the UK.Thanks,Stuart

I bought several Sonos products in the U.K. where my Sonos account is based, and they are eligible for trade up. I have since moved to Spain and would like to trade up some of these legacy items for new Sonos products   I will need to order these from Sonos in Spain.is this possible?  What would i need to do?   

Hello,I had a playbar, several ones, a sub and a ZP100. All running via S1 app. Just purchased an arc, which required move to S2. The ZP100, as expected, is dropped from the S2 system. The ZP100 is also dropped from my system list shown against online account. The problem is that I would like to (a) continue to use the ZP100 and/or (b) claim the trade up discount. Wrt (a) ive reset S1 app which allows option to creating a new system, despite many attempts including factory reset  ZP100, the s1 app doesn’t find it - any ideas? Btw, ZP100 had latest firmware, ethernet cable connected, has white / orange flashing status light on power up for a few seconds, then moves to flashing green mute button.  Wrt (b) it appears that to claim online the trade up discount, your product must appear in your system list, which it doesn't. Im guessing that solving (a) above would solve this too? any help really appreciated. thanks.

Hi, I am interested in buying a Sonos system for the 16 hardwired speakers in the ceilings of my house. They are in 5 different areas. (4 outdoor on my Deck, 4 in Living room & kitchen, 4 in upstairs rumpus room, 2 in study & 2 in main bedroom).  I want to be able to play music in all rooms at once and also to just play it in certain areas while other rooms stay quiet. I am just wondering is it possible to connect all these? And what Sonos hardware do i need to buy if so? Cheers Ben
