Just curious, anyone else order a arc set around the first week of April and have had their order shipped? I got a estimated ship date of April 23rd back when I ordered it, but all it says is order is placed and it’s backordered. Is there still hope for it to ship on or before the 23rd? Thanks!
Hi allI am trying to determine whether the Sonos Arc will work with my setup… PS5 and a gaming monitor that does not have HDMI Arc or eArc Trying to understand the connection options for the Sonos ArcDoes the PS5 plug into the Sonos Arc and then the Sonos Arc plugs into Monitoir (HDMI) - passign through the video signal or is the inteded setup that the PS5 plugs directly to monitior and in order for the sound to get back to the Sonos Arc it requires a eArc/Arc HDMI connection to the Sonos Arc?Not 100% sure on how eArc/Arc works as never had to use it before… I understand the relvance for TVs but with a monitor that receives its video/audio one way from source (PS5) also any limitations in passign through the arc to monitor in this way (if the first way oif connectivity is possible ) ? I did have an older bose soundsystem but the passthrough capped me at 1080p and obvioualy nowadays I want greater .Cant find the manual for the Sonos Arc online - assume all done through app Any advic
Hiim looking for recommendations for best most suitable Sonos set up for our morning room which runs into the galley kitchenthe Morning Room is 12ft x 12ft and the kitchen is 17ft x 9ft. At the moment I just listen to music and radio on a 2nd gen play 5. We are putting a tv in the morning room and I’d like stereo sound, I’d also like the option of having a speaker at the far kitchen end for when I just want music or radio in the kitchen. It’s rare that the music is played at any great volume, just want the quality therefore thinking of Sonos Beam with Alexa under the tv, poss 2 x SL Ones in the morning room and then 1 x SL One at the far end of the kitchen, and then sell the play 5. I gave an arc in my living room but don’t want to spend that much on the set up for these two rooms. any thoughts/ suggestions for the best system for this room combination thanksdave
So I have previously had a Sonos Connect for a long time as my way of playing through my Denon Av receiver. I used to have Russound but have since replaced that with 3 Sonos Amps powering in wall speakers with numerous Sonos 1s around the house. As the Connect is aged and doesn’t mesh with the new updates I would like to replace it. That said it would be nice if I could find a way to have my Sonos turn on my Av receiver like my Apple TV when I use the remote and then play music into the Denon say from a Sonos Port or Arc or whatever. I’m just tired of having to turn on my Denon and then change the input to have my Sonos music play in my living room. I only use my Sharp Aquos Quattron LC-60LE832U as a monitor with the Arc HDMI feeding my Denon. So my Apple Tv, bluray player, and xbox are connected to my Denon. What are my options?
Thinking of purchasing an Arc. My entertainment center soundbar shelf is 4” high and 58” across. Considering the Arc dimensions, side, and upward firing speakers will the sound be adversely affected?
Is there a Sonos product that combines a speaker with the Port/Connect functionality? ie. has a line-out
Christian Mod Edit: Added English translation:Hello, when you create a playlist there are always significant volume differences from one song to another, which means that you have to make permanent adjustments, especially when listening to low volume in background music. It would be very interesting to have the possibility of correcting the volume on each song, volume adjustment which would of course be saved.I don't think it exists on Sonos and it would be a very useful improvement.Christian
Hi everyone - I’ve just bought a whole load of new Sonos kit for my apartment @ circa $1500 expense. My question : how long are ppl generally budgeting for that their products will last? I have a beam, 3 Ones and a move. I like to invest in things like this, and while I don’t expect they’ll last forever, I like to get value for money. I’m also not someone that always needs the newest gizmo, so as long as the speakers still work whilst more improved models come on line, I won’t feel the need to upgrade. Im budgeting for getting around 10 years out of all this stuff. Sonos say they support for 5 years after last sale (hopefully longer). Some of these products have been on sale for a few years but I’m hoping they’ll still sell for a couple of years yet. The bad press Sonos got recently around the issue also makes me think they’ll be a bit better around this next time. Anyone any views on how long you expect to get out of your products? In 10 years time we’ll probably no longer be steamin
Hello Sonos-ians, I have a sonos arc and in built existing ceiling speakers (not sonos). I would like to connect them to my sonos arc for a full surround sound experience. Can you please advise what is the best way to achieve that? My TV is Sony A8H and has HDMI eARC.Typo in the title -Ceiling*Thanks!
HelloWe’re in the process of building a garden office. It will be triangular in shape, with one side being a sliding glass door.We make extensive use of Sonos throughout the rest of the house so have been thinking through the best options given the odd-shape of the space.Mostly will be listening to Spotify as background music whilst working at the desk. Some thoughts:1x Play Five, set horizontal (red dot on diagram) at desk height. 2x Play Ones, set at either end of the corner desk (blue dots) 2x In-ceiling Speakers, set either as the green or purple dotsI’d be very grateful for any advice or other recommendations/considerations.Thanks in advance - diagram below.
Bit of a strange question, I pre-ordered Roam, card charged ahead of shipping and DHL tracking information sent to me last night. All good, apart from Sonos refunding my debit card this morning, despite tracking showing my order has been picked up and on its way.Now I don’t want to seem ungrateful for the refund, but has anyone else had a similar experience?
Hello,I'm considering buying the Sanus TV mount attachment for the Sonos Arc soundbar (WSSATM1), but I'm not sure if it would be compatible with my current setup:- LG 65" OLED CX TV- Reinston Ultra EU025 full-motion TV mount (sorry, available in Polish only...)See here for a couple of photos (pardon my temporary messy cable management). As you can see, my TV mount differs quite significantly from the one used in the instructions for WSSATM1. Also note that it's tilted downwards by 15 degrees in order to get a good viewing angle while lying in bed.Does anyone have experience using this mount attachment with a similar TV mount? Or maybe someone could point me to a different solution which could work in my case?I realize that this might not be the best place to ask this. I have also reached out to Sanus’ customer support, but I’m still awaiting their response and I’m not inclined to believe they would give any recommendations outside their own product range.Any help or suggestions would be
Hi,I can see that there is a new upgrade programme for the Sonos Play 1’s, Play 5’s and Connect AMP etc… Can I choose to use the discount on any products within the Sonos store? How does this work?EG: Can I use my Play 3 upgrade to get 30% discount on a Play 5 for example?I can’t really see this explained in the small print…Thanks!
Hi everyone, sooo, I have the Sonos Playbar and 2 Play ones in my living room. I mainly use the system for listening to music and not actually to watch many movies (contrary to what I had planned years ago when I bought the playbar). Anyway, I am moving to a bigger apartment so I would like to add speaker(s) to my setup. What would you recommend I should add (all in the same room). Shall I go for one play 5 or another play 1 and the sub? I appreciate that it won’t improve my movie sound experience but that’s not what I am going for as I said earlier.thanks for your help !
Good day, i have searched through the history and am still unclear of what my best option is. Apologies if I’ve missed it. Currently i have the Sonance MAG 6.1 set up for my back yard. This system has a sub and six landscape speakers running to a single Sonos amp. Sounds great. My patio has a TV that i would like to integrate and be able to both play the TV output just on my patio (separate from the landscape speakers), as well as with my landscape speaker or just through my landscape speakers. I have yet to purchase the audio (speakers/amp) for my TV patio, would in ceiling with a sperate Sonos amp or sound bar (beam/arc) enable the above desired end state? Would i need something different? Appreciate any intelligence you can provide. Thank you.
What’s the chance sonos will build a larger subwoofer with deeper extension? I know I can get the Sonia amp and use my own sub but I am so impressed with Sonos fit and finish of current products. I would be willing to shell out good money for a larger sub.
I have a turntable and intend to retire my whole stereo sound systems, replacing it with my recently bought Sonos ARC which is connected to my TV now. However, I have a turntable which I am not sure if I can connect to ARC. I assume I need some equipment to connect to the TV and out to Sonos ARC but it would mean I need to have my TV on when I use the turntable ? I was looking at AMP and I suspect it is not the system to do it, as it connect to existing speakers not to ARC. Any advice out there ?
when will my roam arrive
So I have a Playbar, and 6 other Sonos One speakers around my house…(trouble is they are all pre-Airplay2)If I were to buy the Roam and Airplay direct to that and group all the speakers to the Roam, does that mean I can effectively have Airplay2 from my iphone Music app throughout the house?
Contemplating purchasing the Sonos Amp, with 4 new Sonos ceiling speakers to replace some low end ones currently installed. Can I run the wireless Sonos sub whilesimultaneously playing with the music in the 4 ceiling speakers ??
Can I use 2 upgrade discounts on the one new product purchase?
Hi all, I was looking for some confirmation that my potential plan will succeed before spending my money. I currently have a Playbar and 2 Play:1 attached to my TV and work really well. I have a separate turntable (denon dp-45f) attached to its own (old) hi-fi system (pioneer vsx-425) and 2 x Jensen speakers and sometimes headphones plugged directly into the amp. My hi-fi system is on the way out and the pioneer is starting to fail so I was looking to attach the turntable to my sonos system. I understand ill need a pre-amp and then either connect to a port/five/amp. Planned sequence would be:Turntable → preamp → port/amp → bluetooth receiver/headphone amp + wireless to sonos Now this is where my question is: - I would like to with the option of either listening to my records with the wireless/wired headphones OR via the sonos system. - If I set up the port or amp as a ‘room’ for the headphones (likely will use a bluetooth receiver plugged into the port), can I still ask the sonos to
I want to trade in a ZP90 but it doesn’t appear in my online account (it used to but no longer does after I upgraded to the new S2 controller)Sonos chat support are unable to help and said I need to call the sales team who can assist, but I have been on hold for over an hour, on two separate occasions, unable to speak to anyone.Does anyone here know how I can get reliably get in touch with the sales team? Or if there is some way I can get the ZP90 to show up in my online account such that I can trade it in? Many thanks in advance for your input :)
I was wondering if a surround setup with two play ones a sub and the beam would sound better and more direct than one play five. I wanna get the play five for the quality but I can get the sub and add on to the surround set up. Which is better?
