Hello,

I’ve read about many compatibility issues between the Arc soundbar and Samsung tv’s. I have a Samsung Q80T and want to make sure Dolby Atmos will work if I buy this soundbar. Could someone confirm whether the latest firmware updates on both Sonos and Samsung’s sides have addressed the issues.

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Samsung have updated their firmware for these devices (and we did some work of our own), and we are now considering the two major issues as resolved. Specifically, these were “no audio when eARC enabled” and “continuous audio dropouts”.

I therefore see no reason not to assume that an Arc will work with your TV - If you buy an Arc direct from us, you will get plenty of time to test and return for a full refund, should you need to.
