What to get

I have a couple of Play 5 (v1) and some newer play 1’s and a bridge.  I am proposing to replace the bridge with a new boost.  Will the Play 5 v1 work with the new boost?

It is possible?3. I would like to make any sound played by my iphone or apple watch to be played simultaneously on all 6 Sonos One in the Group. It is possible? It is not about when I use the Sonos App to play something for it, but to make any sound that would be played on the Iphone or Apple Watch be played on all 6 Sonos One at the same time, for example, podcasts, messages audio, youtube videos and even calls. I’m a new owner of two play 1 and i still have a sub Jamo 550 which is in really good condition.So i’m wondering, how i could connect everything together. Hi, my new Sonos beam arrived and very disappointed with the sound. I’ve done a comparison against my LG OLED 55 CX5LB and the internal tv speakers are better than the soundbar. Not what I was expecting. If I add two surround sound speakers will this help, have seen the ones from ikea as a cheaper option to consider. If anyone has any advice then let me know. I’ve done the true sound and got loudness on. The room size is medium sized.  ThanksAdam

Quick Question-I recently purchased a new house which has 8 in-ceiling speakers connected to a 2 channel stereo receiver. I am planning on buying a port to connect to the receiver, so that I can add these in-ceiling speakers to my sonos ecosphere. I already own a sonos beam, sub, (2) play 1s, and a move that I have been using in my previous home. I read that it isn’t possible to “attach” the sub to the port (or the in ceiling speakers). My question is this: If I attach the sub to the beam as I have in the past, and then pair the beam/sub to the port so they all play the same thing in unison? Thanks, Ben

Hi all,I am a relatively new Sonos owner (currently have two One SL’s in my office that are wonderful) and I am looking to add some Sonos to my living room. I live in a two bedroom apartment, so the living room is approximately 13 feet by 11 feet (~200 square feet). I am considering either a Beam with a Sub or a 2.1 system driven by a Sonos Amp. I am looking to spend around $1K on this, so I could either get the Beam and Sub or an Amp with approx. $350 to spend between a small powered sub and bookshelf speakers. In either case, I will probably add two One’s as surrounds, but I am excluding that from my consideration for the time being.  What do you all recommend for a space such as this? I am leaning toward the Amp since I can always add some better speakers when we buy a house and I have a more permanent system, but I could also re-purpose the Beam for a smaller room and buy an Amp down the line. 

Hi Guys. I am new to Sonos and am contemplating buying the Arc.I have two questions:1. When I connect my tv, via arc to a yamaha receiver, it states dolby digital+ when I watch Netflix. Am I correct in think this means I will get dolby digital+ on the Sonos Arc, via arc, if I buy one? My tv does not have earc.2. I would like to know if I can play mp3 files, from my android phone or PC, through the Sonos Arc. If so, how is it done?Please can someone help me as I would like to know these answers before I part with the cash?For anyone who is interested, I am aware my current 5.1 system is probably better but I am looking for a minimal system. I do not have a large movie collection so the lack of Dts support is not an issue.Reviews suggest this is a good option for a stand alone soundbar.Thanks.

Hi guys.I was searching around but never found appropriate answers, I guess everyone’s desired setup is different.I want to connect my turntable and my projector to SONOS system. I would like to avoid any kind of splitter and would like the setup to be in stereo. I am now thinking about buying two Sonos Fives and use one input for projector and one input for turntable. It should work given that I can switch between wired input and wireless input and in home setup between inputs from different speakers, as I understand it. But I am not sure… So, couple of questions.Can I switch between analog inputs?  Will the sound from these two Fives be in stereo for both analog inputs? Can I send sound from these analog inputs (ie. from one of the Fives) to additional speakers in my home setup? Can I send it to Apple homepod? Can I send music from Apple homepod to these stereo Fives and will it play in stereo? Even subjective response is good for me - would you prefer this kind of setup or is it bet

Hello all. I have read many posts and am still confused.I currently have an older receiver with a wired center channel and wired front speakers. Is it possible with Sonos products to add 2 wireless rear surround speakers? I would like 5.1 surround sound.Cost is an issue so that's why I don't want to buy all Sonos products.I have read about a delay, some people saying it would exist with this setup, others saying no it doesnt. I appreciate the help.

Hi, I am looking to setup a surround sound system using a Sonos sound bar (connected directly to TV) combined with third-party ceiling speakers for the rear sound. I current have a Connect:Amp wired for the ceiling speakers, but am under the impression it will not work with a sound bar without connecting the bar directly through ethernet to the router or the Connect:Amp. The setup/locations of my devices prevents this.So my question is if I purchased the newer Sonos Amp, will I be able to wirelessly pair it to a Sonos sound bar (that is connected to the TV)? If so, which sound bar would I need?And is there a specific method of connection between the TV and that Sonos sound bar that I would need so that I can control all the speakers (including the ceilings ones) through a single remote?

I am looking to hook up two sets of speakers to the AMP.  What do you suggest as the best option?  

I have been using SONOS for several years.   I have a wired system connected to my older Amplifier and decided to add SONOS wireless speakers.    I purchased CONNECT and BRIDGE, whereupon CONNECT was connected to the Amplifier and I could control everything (the wired speakers and the SONOS speakers) through the SONOS App on my phone.   With the release of the S2 controller I decided to upgrade.  Neither CONNECT nor BRIDGE is compatible, so I purchased AMP, believing it was a newer replacement for CONNECT.   Unfortunately I cannot seem to add my older wired system to my SONOS controlled system. ??? What am I doing wrong? Have I messed up by upgrading?

Pls ignore the typo in subject.  I have a Sonos Beam and 2 Sonos Play:1 speakers setup in my living room. I need more loudness as sometime during parties I feel the volume is not enough. Hence, I want to add more speakers. I am confused between Sonos one two speaker set or Sonos Five. I am more inclined towards Sonos Five as I feel it can give more louder sound as well as I don't have enough space to keep two more speakers. I will appreciate any advise / suggestions from the community. Thank you in advance. 

Hello, I recently moved into a new home and the room where my main television is a large rectangle (roughly  32' x 16'). My TV is mounted on the wall halfway on one of the longer walls. With the audio coming from the television the sound gets lost in the room and is extremely difficult to understand dialogue, requiring my wife and I to use subtitles.  We are thinking about getting the arc, but have two concerns. With the side walls being so far away, will I really get full use of the sound bar and  the ATMOS experience or will I just be overpaying for the same benefits of the beam? Also, will the arc be enough to help fill the room with audio ( and clear up dialogue) or will I need a pair of ones as well? Thanks for any advice.

I haven’t seen anything on the community about the sound quality of two moves being used in a stereo pair and would like to know how they pair matches up to a play:5. I recently purchased two One SLs as a stereo pair and I love how the stereo separation sounds. I’m looking to expand my system to add speakers to my bedroom and main room of my apartment.    My options as of now are either are getting a stereo pair of Sonos moves to move between the two rooms as needed or to get a play:5 for the main room and the move for my bedroom and to bring out as needed. I definitely want to get one move to use as an outdoor speaker as needed.    

For the living room tv area, I will be buying Sonos Arc with subwoofer. As the space I have is big, so I am thinking of connecting 4 Sonos in-ceiling speakers with Sonos Amp. Can I create Surround Sound, Dolby Atmos sound experience with this set up?Alternatively will I get a better experience if I only connect 2 One SLs instead of 4 In-Ceiling speakers?

HiI have a Yamaha RX A830, Playstation 4, Panasonic Plasma 50”, and Apple TV.For now the Yamaha receiver is the central unit for sound. Everything is connected to that in order to get surround from a 5.1 speaker setup.I want to change to a Sonos 5.1 setup with Arc, sub, and 2 One SL.I just want to make sure that I will still be able to get surround from all my sources with the Sonos setup. Can I connect the Sonos to the Yamaha RX A830? 

Would the Sonos Amp be a good pairing with the KEF LS50 Meta’s?  Has anyone got one paired with the older LS50s?  

what format would play if I added 2 Sonia 1s to the two play 5s and sub I have? Will all four speakers use sub?  I have a 40’x20’ billiard and bar room, wanted more immersive sound in room. Any thoughts?

how long does it take from processing to shipped?  On 10/6 my credit card was charged and disaptcj acknowledged and no movement since then its been 3 days. anyone have same issue? 

Maybe it´s a silly question but i want to be sure. I use my play station 4 as my main entertainment system (games, DVD, netflix, spotify etc.). It´s obviously connected to my TV through HDMI. My question is: will sonos beam work? will i hear all the content from my ps4 on sonos beam instead of my tv? I´m worried that only the audio on tv channels is the one i will listen. Thanks for the patience

Set up 2 Sonos Play 5(gen 2) and a Sub. Sound is amazing very happy. That said, I am curios if it was worth the extra $900 versus four ones and the sub.   I have 14 days to exchange. Not willing to give up any integrity, but read not worth doing the setup the way I did.  Thanks,jason
