Older Receiver - Wireless rear speakers

Hello all.

 

I have read many posts and am still confused.

I currently have an older receiver with a wired center channel and wired front speakers. Is it possible with Sonos products to add 2 wireless rear surround speakers? I would like 5.1 surround sound.

Cost is an issue so that's why I don't want to buy all Sonos products.

I have read about a delay, some people saying it would exist with this setup, others saying no it doesnt.

 

I appreciate the help.

Hi. There is no confusion. You can use Sonos speakers as surrounds with a Sonos set up only. You cannot have a partial Sonos system.
