Just a quick, probably stupid question. We do have a Sirius account associated with the cars. However, my question is, how do we get the various services provided on our system, is it all through Sonos and the internet or is it somehow related to our subscriptions?We just don’t want to be paying “double” for services. So far, other than the installation of our Sonos system, I don’t pay anything. So not sure how this all works. Rick

Lost my radio stations and the app sucks like f* hell!how can I downgrade??

I just read an article at ZDNet which says that desktop apps are going away and there will only be the web app on desktops in future, with device config only possible in the mobile apps. That seems really bad news for local library support. The article seems so deferential to Sonos that I guess it is basically an op-ed.

My Bandcamp subscription to Peter Gabriel just dropped two more tracks onto the “Lunatics in the Big Room” bootleg he issued us. I can get the album up in the web player, but there is no way to play an individual track - all I can do is play the whole album and then skip the tracks I have already heard. What am I missing? The tracks look clickable, but clicking them does nothing, and the dot-menu is greyed out.  

We use our Roam to play white noise in our daughters room. The speaker is set up in her room on the wireless charger. Previously it always worked fine, and then now it randomly just drops out and appears as “not connected” in the Sonos app. It’ll play for an hour or so, and then it disappears.  Hard rebooting the speaker via the button on the back returns it to the app and makes it usable again, but it’ll play for another hour or so and then randomly stop and disappear.  For reference: my home sonos system runs on Sonosnet channel 6

My Sonos system is now 10 years old and i purchased a NAS drive to store my music collection on and to use with my Sonos system. I am now having problems accessing my NAS drive using my laptop running windows 11 which i have resolved by changing the SMB settings but it creates potential security issues. Also my NAS drive will not last forever and this is an example of it becoming unsupported and obsolete. So i either need to buy a new NAS drive or move all my music and files over to Cloud storage subscription such as my Google drive or MS365. I have considered using Spotify but it is too much each month for the amont i would use it plus i have already purchased a lifetime of music and have it stored on my NAS drive. My questions are;Do Cloud storage subscriptions work well with Sonos or do you experience drop outs and failures? What new NAS drives would the community recommend? Does anybody use Plex media server as this was recommended by Sonos support?

The new app seems to no longer have an associated widget for home screen. This is a significant drop in functionality that is now missing. Anyone else calling for return of the widget?  Not to mention loss of some content services that I previously enjoyed 

I am new to Spotify but not to Sonos. When setting up Spotify I selected a bunch of artists as artists I liked.  On the Spotify web player I can bring up a list of all of my favorite artists to play, review discography, etc. That is all under ‘Your Library’. On Sonos (both on the Sonos 2 app and the android app), I can’t find the list of artists anywhere, and under ‘Your Library” it says No Selections Are Available. How can I find the music? (For what it’s worth I can use voice controls on my Sonos Move to play through Spotify).

Why has Sonos withdrawn support for 3rd party (e.g. Brennan) Music Libraries and pushed us onto web based services. I have 400+ albums and and have no desire to use organisations lie Amazon or Spotify. I cannot be alone with this situation. 

I know that this has been discussed on other threads, and I know that Sonos’ position is that the controller app does not support hardware volume control on iOS. And as a recent convert from Android to iPhone I was disappointed to find that I had to unlock my phone and go to the app every time I want to control the volume. However, on a recent trip to visit my brother, I was complaining about this, and he says, “it works fine for me.” Lo and behold, I tried it on my phone and was able to control the volume on his S1 system. When I contacted Sonos about this, there only answe was “we don’t support hardware controls on iOS.” Hmmmmm.

Hi everyone,I've got a Samsung S95b TV, Sonos Beam gen 2 and Eras300 and a Neflix premium account. Why are specific spatial audio movies not showing the spatial audio sign on my TV? I can see it on my Samsung Tab s8 ultra, but not on the TV. What am I missing? Sonos System Info shows audio in: Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0 for my beam gen 2. Is this how it supposed to be to get spatial surround audio on my eras 300?

Will the Era100’s produce more highs than the One SL’s and be noticeably different?

how is this company leaglly in business? after 5 hours with support i still cant use any of sonos products. support just tells you to keep resetting and trying to add speakers after knowing it hasnt worked te 10 times before. they then try to blame my isp, even though ebery single oher product on the planet worls fine EXCEPT sonos and they have no resolutions. after talking to  more agents on the phone the resolution they gave me?? try ressting it and re installing or borrow someones else device to set up speakersbe beacuse my s23 ultra wont work or my ipad or laptop. i cant wait to join a class action against this scam of a company

Good afternoon (its 16,45 pm here in Italy) , we have a B&B in a countryside area  with a sea view where in the shared living room  there are installed 2 Ikea Symphonisk Frames, I paired them on stereo  L and R  mode, using that with Apple Music , scheduling the music (with Sonos app  alert)  is really nice and all guest appreciate a lot , listening mostly famous cover in a  jazzed mood  with a 13% volume, so very soft music ..actually we have a large covered terrace about 28 mq  (7mt x 4mt) (no windows just opened covered terrace) next to the shared living room (between living room and terrace there are large windows that we keep usually close so you can't ear music when u are in terrace) and I wanted to spread the same music and same scheduling in the terrace  installing an Era 100 , do you think it is will be fine and the sound? will be decent?  I will install the Speaker in the center of the terrace put on the wall so people will ear it from back. When I connect my phone to my sonos roam via bluetooth, I initially don’t get any music from the speaker, although music is playing on the phone. Also when I hit the Play button on the Roam, I can’t pause the music. I still get the “connection successful” sound by the roam and my phone also shows that I am connected. This only happens, when the bluetooth volume is below a certain level (about 2/3 max level). What helps is turning the bluetooth volume to maximum after connecting and once I hear the music turn it back down. At this point I can also control the music with the buttons on the roam such as pause or next song. Is there a certain input thrshold, before the roam acknowledges the connection, and if yes, can I lower it? I use my roam a lot to listen to quiet music in the middle of the night, and it is a real pain to always have to max the volume for a successful connection.

I know that the “associated product” is the first speaker that responds when starting a controller.  I’m simply expressing some frustration at how rudimentary that process is and how annoying it can be when you have a lot of Sonos products that you’ve accumulated for about a decade.  I have a mix of about a dozen speakers, with my oldest being ten year old Play:1s and my newest being an Arc. I notice that my Sonos controllers (both desktop and Android) are much, much more responsive when the associated product is the Arc or the newer Five. However, my controllers seem to have a knack for finding one of the older Play:1s.  The phone and desktop controllers consistently find the oldest speakers in my system when starting up and they’ll be sluggish and the queue is harder to manage.  When the associated product is one of the speakers I’ve added within the last couple years, the controller is much more responsive.  It’s a stark contrast.Like I said, I know how the associated product select

I have a set of play:1’s sitting on Sanus stands as part of my Sonos home theater system. One of them has been acting up and not working, so I need to replace it. I was thinking of just getting a new set of era 100s, but I’m not sure they will work with the existing stand. Hi! First post here. Live in Norway, but I guess the details are the same all over. I currently own a Boost, Sub gen 2, Arc, 4 Sonos One and one Play: 3.I’m thinking of replacing the Sonos One we have on the kitchen counter with a Move (gen 1) so I can remove the wire that makes a clutter, and be able to take it outside on the roof terrace.I know that the Move can be charged through the docking station or via USB-C, but what I would like to know is if the wire connected to the docking station can be removed when it’s not used. I know that the adapter itself can be removed from the wire, but my question is if the wire is permanently conneted to the docking station or not. I was hoping that the Move can be places on the docking station permanently on the kitchen counter, but don’t want the wire to be attached to the station, unless I’m using it. The alternative is to keep the docking station somewhere else, and just charge via USB-C.

What is best way to get started with a turntable to play my old vinyl collection.would like to be able to connect to all my Sonos speakers if possible.Have 3 Play Ones in separate rooms, a sound bar, sub and 2 play ones in living room, and a Move & Roam.do I require my thing extra to connect a Project T1 to the system?
