Hello, May, last month, you informed us that there would be no more update for the old equipment on sonos1.I could live with that because everything was functional at home. And now you are pushing a final update that prevents most of the adjustments on my system.I can’t even change the sonosnet channel. I have computers, android phone on version 7, tablet on version 7, android boxes on version 7.You said the truth, there will be no more update, only a downgrade. What’s the reason behind all this?
Hi there, I have Arc + Sub + two One SL as surround in my living. All devices are in the same group called living. This works well for watching TV. What I wanted to do is to create a second group with only the two One SL + the Sub to be used when listening music in a normal 2.1 mode. Is this something doable and if yes how? Many thanks in advance.C.
Hi, Bought an Arc speaker together with Sub Gen 3, everything are connected except the sub have no sound. Already follow all the instructions from the previous comment yet not solving the problem. Kindly advise the next step. Thank you.
Hi guys,I am waiting to get my hands on the Sonos Arc when it becomes available on the 14th of May (Eastern Europe), looking to create a 100% Sonos Home Theater setup. My living room is 25sqm and the distance to the tv is 3.5m. Main use: 85% movies, 15% music. I was thinking of getting the ARC, Gen3 Sub and 2x One SLs; The surround speakers would sit to my left and right.I do have a few questions though:Would the Sonos Five improve the experience greatly in order to make it worth the extra money? Can I get and use also 2x Sonos Fives as dedicated front L/R speakers + the ARC in front of the TV + Sub + 2x OneSL for surround? How many speakers can you connect in total to the ARC? can I make it 7.1.2? or 9.1.2? How well does the speakers deal with bass? My room has poor acoustics and the bass from the subwoofers is amazing when sitting directly in front of the tv but 100% absent when moving elsewhere. I couldn't find a better placement for the old subs in the old HT systems I've had.Look
Sonos S1 on iOS 14.4. Sonos S1 app has a persistent “It’s time tp update to Sonos S2” message that doesn’t go away. How do I clear this message?
Does the Sonos system honour the ‘Album Artist’ tag? I suspect not, but why not? Or is there way round it…..Everything works - I can see my library, I can play music, I can play radio stations etc etc. Just cannot fathom how to get the darned set up to honour the ‘Album Artist’ tag. All other tools/systems I have do honour the tag (J River, Logitec media server, plex etc).Any info/advice gratefully recieved.
Hi. Thinking of buying an Arc. With the 15% upgrade the total cost is 7649 NOK. Is this included all costs, or will there be any customs fee? Regards Pål
Is is possible (if so, how) to use my gen 1 Play 5 on Sonos 2 thru Sonos Connect (not amp), just as one would use a regular speaker?
Hello,Does anyone have any insight on the possibility of connecting 2 Sonos connect to 1 receiver? I want to be able to control the volume in different areas while steaming the same music. Just trying to save some $$$. I realize the alternative is to buy the new Sonos amp or another receiver but trying to make use of the connects I have. Thank you for your time.
I currently have 4 Sonos connects (2 connects, 2 connect amps), running S1 software as they are older. Found a used Connect amp that I would buy for another room, but it seems to be running S2 software. Can I downgrade it to S1? Basically want to control all units using the S1 app sort of thing. But can’t seem to figure out if that’s doable, I know I can’t do the opposite.
Morning all. Hoping I can get some direction on this one please. Got lots of Sonos, all S2 and all amplified to decent in-ceiling speakers. Works a treat, always has.But I’m adding a new room. Essentially a home cinema room with the normal speakers, SW, large TV, AVR etc. I’ve plugged in a new Port via RCA to the SAT I/P.It works but sounds a bit meh.I’m not trying get any cinema type functionality, just good sound, stereo, surround, anything really. Is there a rule of thumb or best practice for settings an AVR to get a decent sound out? It just doesn’t sound great. The AVR itself is old but a solid performer …. A Pioneer VSA-AX10Ai feeding B&W Matrix fronts & rears and a B&W ASW800 sub.
Hey all ---I subscribe to MLB Gameday Audio. I’ve poked around on the support pages, but every reference I’ve found to listening to MLB on Sonos seems to be at least a year old. Have there been any updates? Can we listen to MLB on our Sonos players? Thanks!
Hi everyone.I have recently started to replace my old Denon amp and floor standing speakers with Sonos. Bought 2 Sonos Fives and configured them as stereo pair and it has been working well, better than the floor standing speakers. My intention is to retire these speakers and only use Fives. Next I wanted to connect my Sony tv to Sonos and also use existing non Sonos sub (Ken Kreisel) so I bought Sonos Amp to connect the sub and TV through HDMI. However I realised during the set up that I can’t add Sonos speakers as front stereo. I understand Amp is supposed to help with the traditional speaker set up but it wasn’t obvious anywhere I won’t be able to add the Fives as a front pair or even to the same room. The latter could have solved some part of the issue I am facing. As a workaround I have done the following: TV is connected to Amp through HDMI. Amp is configured to connect to floor standing speakers but I have left them disconnected. TV headphone out is connected to line in of the F
I have a sony smart tv a sonos beam 2 Sonos one 2 sonos one sl. Setup hdmi arc on beam 2 sone one sl as sorround and the 2 sonos one as stereo pair. Now when i grup them to sound all together on tv it sound with echos and every time i turn on the tv and put it on group also use apple tv and both the sony tv and apple tv remotes don’t setup as it supposed to be when i go to the settings and press vol up it dont find it. Main concern is the beam and the sl aourround grouped with the ones as stereo pair makes echo like 10 tvs are playing the same sound and the issue of having to turn on the group ever time i turn on the tv and the volume of the beam and the stereo pair are not even when up or down one is higher

I have two separate houses with Sonos. Primary residence is running S2 with a bunch of Play:Ones. House we share with extended family is running S1 with a gen one Connect, a ZP-90, and a fairly recently added single Play:One. I'm thinking I might get more good out of this Play:One at my primary house for now. So, I'm looking to transfer from one system to another but not off my account.Do a factory reset of this Play:One and add it to my S2 system at home? Thanks, all.
I want to return a product, but there is No contact information om the Sonos page. How do I return products? How do I get the return label?
Does anyone know if their is a difference between the Sonance SR2-125 amp and the Sonos Amp? I have the Sonance Mag 4.1 patio series speaker system and can see that they are sold with either the Sonos Amp or the Sonance SR2-125. Can someone explain to me what the difference is?
Hi,How can I listen to YouTube on my Sonos One? I can listen to Spotify but can not find a way to direct youtube music. I don’t have youtube premium account.Thank you.
Can anyone please help.I am waiting for my Sonos arc which is back ordered, if I were to play videos via Apple Music app on smart tv through Earc(arc) would I be able to stream the same music coming through the arc across the whole of my Sonos speakers
The MOVE will only connect to WiFi while the rest of the Sonos system connects vis the BOOST. This begs the question, why use Boost at all and just use WiFi connectivity for the entireSonos system?
Hi Everyone, Since the latest update on my playbar (running version 2) i face the following issue. I have run the trueplay settings and i can hear a more ‘surround sound’ coming from my playbar. But after a while this effect is gone and the player sounds like trueplay is disbled. However, when i check at the settings trueplay is still enabled. But i can hear from the sound that trueplay is in no way working or not working as it should. There’s more bass coming from my playbar and that’s not the case when trueplay is operating. No matter what i do, disable trueplay, enable it, retune (there’s holes in my room from me walking true my room) the trueplay works for a little while and all of sudden stops working. Anyone have any idea’s what to do? Im using an iphone with v2 app installed wich i also removed and reinstalled to no avail.
I am using latest version of S2 app for iOS. I am using local music stored on a NAS drive. Each music file has embedded artwork. Every time I put the S2 app in the background (i.e., switch to another app) and then switch back to S2, all the album artwork disappears, and then reloads … very slowly. It takes a couple of minutes to reload artwork for 26 albums. Does anybody know what is going on here and why?
Hi all, A client of mine has to install an audio system in the basement floor of his house where an indoor swimming pool is located. The room is aprox. 10 meter x 6 meter (32 ft x 16 ft) which part half is occupiedby the pool. My idea is to install 2 Sonos Five in the two corners and in the middle on Sonos One to let him to control the system by voice. What do you believe? Is it too much? 2/3 Sonos One are enough? Thank you all,Ago
I have a Sonos Amp driving my home theater along with a few different Sonos speakers throughout the house. When I play music, they’re all grouped together and sound amazing. When I’m watching TV, the other speakers need to be turned down or muted or it creates a pretty bizarre echo as the dialog is slightly out of sync. Every time I sit down to watch TV I’m in the Sonos app muting other speakers.Ungroup on Autoplay - this feature is ALMOST perfect. What I’d rather have is “mute other speakers on autoplay” so I don’t have to re-group things when it’s time to play music. Re-grouping takes a lot longer and requires a phone compared to setting volume quickly by tapping the speaker or using voice control. In fact, my perfect feature request is to remember volume levels for each source.Source switches to TV: 25% volume on Amp, 5% volume on all other speakers. Source switches to Spotify: 25% volume on all speakers.I manually do the two bullets above several times each day.Anyway, keep on keepi
