This isn’t possible without disconnecting the Sub and two One SLs from the Arc and then pairing the One SLs as a stereo pair and then adding the Sub to the pair. But by doing this, you lose your 5.1 setup.
Thanks @GuitarSuperstar this is what I suspected. I addition I will likely have to rerun the TriePlay every time I change my setup…
Maybe Sonos would take this as an improvement request? I would really love to try a standard stereo pair with my new One SLs.
Hi there, let me reopen this one. Curious to hear on what would be the best experience when listening to music (say from Amazon Music HD). Would you recommend arc+Sub or One SL pair + Sub?
In my setup the One SLs are behind my listening point at an height of approx mt 1.90 pointing to me. The ARC instead is in front of me approx 4 mt far.
I think I would actually prefer the Ones + sub for music. However, since you already have Arc +sub + ones, I would just put it in full stereo mode so you get stereo out of the ones when not watching TV.

Thank you melvimbe, I did try that. However the full stereo mode with the ARC and the Subs all playing at the full level, sounds a bit... “confusionary” to me as I like to hear a pure stereo sound (plus sub) coming from a single (yet stereo) direction.
Now, as a double config with the same speakers in the same room is at the moment not possible (without having every time to assign speakers and rerun Trueplay) I have found the best music experience setting the surrounds in Ambient mode rather than Full mode and having the ARC as primary source. This at least when you seat in the right room position and can raise volume up the desired level.
I see the Full mode a nicer solution when you are moving throughout the room doing something else or with friends around etc.
I think Sonos should find a way to allow saving multiple setups with available speakers maintaining related Trueplay settings. It would be really a great improvement to me.
