Hi everyone,I was trying to check whether the newly-introduced Spatial Audio (Dolby Atmos?) would work on my Roam via my iPhone 12 (bluetooth) or not, and it was buggy (i.e., music did not start, or just play a few seconds, perhaps loading?). Beyond that, I also had streaming issues with what I believe were normal songs in Apple Music (no lossless).Any comparable experience, explanation, or fix?ThanksDan
Hi,Is it possible to connect roam to a bluetooth projector. I have a setup with a Xbox Series S, a bluetooth projector with BT 5.0 and a roam. I have tried connecting the roam to the projector which connects but there is no sound. Any suggestions?
Hi All,I just grabbed an Arc, and set it up the other day and the audio was noticeably out of sync while watching Netflix. I tried adjusting the delay setting in the app, but nothing helped. I'm using a Sony Bravia X800H, and I'm connected to the ARC port since there's no eARC. I’ve been trying to figure this out few a few days now. And there’s no AV sync option on my tv. At least I can’t find it. Any advice? I’m thinking of returning it.
Apple Music is now offering dolby atmos sound. Will this sound be available when you have added the Apple Music service in the Sonos app, or is it only available through an Apple TV device?
I'm really struggling to use roam as a Bluetooth speaker. Spotify isn't a problem, but I can't get other media such as bbc sounds app or prime video to play through the speaker. I'm using a huawei Android phone, so airplay isn't an option. Any thoughts or solutions much appreciated! Cheers!
After studying the various posts on here regarding the blown power supply problem with the Play 3 device, I am now at the point where I need some assistance with voltages.I think I have the board operational again, but the voltages I am seeing on the capacitors on the low voltage (output) side don’t look right. For someone who has one of these units and is technically competent, could you please measure what’s on the pins of the power supply board output connector (left to right with the board upright) and post here. This will assist me in getting the supply running correctly and determining what else is wrong with it.In repairing it I had to Dremel away quite a bit of burned area and I may have removed a connection to the regulation side of the supply. If I can get it working properly again then I may be able to assist others who have ended up with a dead power board.
Why tidal play Dolby atmos on my arc with my google chrome device but not Apple Music with my Apple TV ?
I get that you’re proud of the commercial-free Sonos Radio HD and you want people to know about it, but in just a day of activating my subscription and listening to it, I’ve noticed the “This is Sonos” and “You're listening to <station name>” announcement interruption an excessive number of times. Please… I’m paying for it! Please stop. Once every two-three hours maybe at the most. But I think I’m hearing it like once every 15-20 minutes or something.I pay for Spotify; no announcements. I pay for Apple Music; no announcements.
I can’t find the specific answer to my issue. Can both inputs on the Sonos Beam ARC and Optical be plugged in at the same time and used for separate sources or does one cancel out the other? Cheers.
Hi all,I’ve seen a number of threads around this (quite old) but can’t figure it out.Is there a way of adding 320kbps streams of BBC Radio stations on to Sonos?I assume the standard TuneIN and Sonos Radio streams are all at 128kbps?Thanks!
Hey all, I got a request to make:Wouldn't TV dialog sync would be much more reasonably placed if it was in the main UI as seen in the screenshot below? Either here or at least under the 3-dot (setting) section. Why is it much more reasonable? In one word: usability. In a couple: Think of the feature's use-case.I, for instance, have several products which I use: Xbox, Native TV apps and a streamer. Some apps require me to use the TV dialog sync, which requires searching for the settings and clicking through a minimum of 4 menus, with some scrolling thats involved. That's not very convenient when you're already bothered by the off sync and care to enjoy the content you're watching asap. Also, adding it to the Widget so it will be only one click away might also be awesome.Hope this can be considered and prioritized. If you read this, please respond and add your feedback or just reply with "+1". Perhaps we, as a community, could help to make the change by showing the value this would add to
I bought an ARC + SUB + SONOS SL. And I’m super impressed, the sound is so clear and so crisp, I really love it. I think it would be great tough, if SONOS will implement the possibility to use additional SONOS SL as front speaker, in addition to the arc (that woull be than more a center atmos speaker), this would help to wide the fron sound stage, and will sound stellar!
Hi,I’d love to use a Sonos Move for my projector setup, but supposedly it won’t work because of SCMS-T. Would what I suggest in the title be a viable workaround?ThanksLars
Hello all,I used to have a Sonos S1, and I loved the sound. It used it mainly to listen to music, but I really missed being able to play music from my laptop's browser (running MS Windows). So, now that I see that the Sonos Move includes the possibility to connect by Bluetooth, I am seriously considering to buy it.The move seems to tick all my checkmarks: enough sound for a room, possibility to carry it around the house (including kitchen, 2 rooms, bathroom and balcony), and multiple wireless inputs. However, I see that it cannot be connected directly to the TV via a wired connection (I have a Samsung QLED 65Q74T, 2020). On the other hand, the TV can use Bluetooth external speakers, and also has Airplay 2. So, I have the following questions:If I watch a movie on the TV and sync it via Bluetooth with the Move, will I have lip-sync delay? If the answer to number 1 is yes, should I buy a Sonos Beam, to connect via wire to the TV, and sync it with the Move? I have seen around contradictory
Hi, I read a lot about Sonos and DLNA and my question is why is not yet possible to play music from a DLNA server running on a NAS?The Sonos app show the NAS and let me navigate through folders but when I try to play music says: Unable to add music to queue. It makes no sense to me. Why should I use the obsolete samba protocol to share folders over my network while the DLNA protocol exists?Sonos is almost perfect but this is a big disqualification. My Samsung TV sees and play music from my NAS. Obviously I don’t want to play music on my TV and this is why I bought a Sonos speaker. RegardsMax
I am setting up a new system. My options for amplification include two Sonos amps or a Sonos port with a Russound D850 4 zoneThis will drive two Martin Logan tower speakers and 4 in ceiling speakers and possibly subwoofer.Any advice? Better sound with either? $300 more to go with the two Sonos vs other)Sorry for “aonos” -won’t let me edit title)thanks!
Hi,Does the S2 application will support Dolby Atmos and lossless audio format I use Apple Music in this application. At the moment it is possible only by AirPlay 2. I'd like to start the S2 application to choose Apple Music and listen to lossless audio formats :)GreetingsRaf
Is Sonos planning to offer any type of battery replacement for the Roam? Maybe a significant discount on a new one with trade-in?
I get really teed off that SONOS in their high and mighty way disable my system if I don't apply the updates immediately. Whatever happened to user choice? There used to be a LATER option, (although SONOS admitted it didn't work), but now there is no choice whatsoever - install or don't have a sonos system…. have we really entered the big brother era where SONOS simply won't wait? Just as well Apple don't take the same approach.I’ve heard all the excuses about my system won't work without them, but it’s is such a basic set up that all the new add ons are completely irrelevant and do not apply to my system… and even if they did SONOS can wait until I’m ready to install, and not be forced to like a big bully who won’t wait
Where are they on the S1 app? Also how to add an equalizer? thx
Don’t know their algorithms, but smooth jazz is not smooth jazz. Sonos thinks it is R & B the ultimate mishmash, Black Worship, etc. Ridiculous, and I’m supposed to pay to skip a song?
Dear Sonos, I ordered a Sonos Arc to a local French Reseller end of may 2021, and it seems there is no date on delivery... and on the Sonos French site you mention minimum early July for a purchase on your site. What is happening on the production of ARCs ? Why so long delays? How can you help? I sold my beam and now my home theater with my ones and sub is no more working...
Just awful harsh sound on all S sounds from the TV and Music. Almost painfully bad. No depth to the sound. I’m using Trueplay and it doesn't help. Its embarrassing to have people over to listen to this garbage. On the “EQ” of only bass and treble. I have treble at -10. Still sounds likes like crap. Dialog is impossible to understand because the volume is so low because the SSS’s are killing my ears.Tried all the suggestions no luck. Might have to go back to a proper stereo system. Sonos fix this ****.Any other suggestions out there? *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.*
Hello All!!!I was hoping someone can help me with info on speakers for a projector. I own an Epson Moviemate 62 and am looking for other options for speakers, wireless or semi-wireless. I’m currently using a Sony digital audio/video control center with 5 speakers. I don’t mind things being wired near the unit but trying to get “surround sound” leaves me with yards of speaker wire around my patio for a rear set of speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This unit has been a staple in my home for about 8 years and would love to update with new speakers. Below is an image of the back of the moviemate showing available hook ups. I typically use DVDs but am also hoping to use a firestick pending speakers setup.
