I have an outside TV streaming with a Roku stick. I also have 2 Sonos Play:1 speakers (stereo) mounted outside (covered and removed in winter). How can I connect the TV audio (mounted and covered on a brick exterior wall) connected to the Sonos system to be able to listen to the TV audio on the Play:1 speakers? 

I have a Sonos Connect:Amp (Gen 1), I wanna make the change to S2. Can I buy a Sonos port, (instead of, AMP) and control the existing Connect:Amp (Gen 1) to power the speakers? Or do I need to buy the AMP?

I want to have a speaker in my bedroom, living room and pool and all work together wirelessly. What do I need?

Hi all , just got a LG 43UP81006LR and the remote doesn't control the volume on the beam 2 , hdmi CEC is on and connected via arc , anyone any ideas ? Thanks 

Hi all. I’m looking for some help, thanks in advance.We have 2x play 1’s, playbar, & a 3rd gen sub in our lounge, we use this for Spotify & tv, but I mainly use them for playing records on a Rega P6 via a Sonos port. I have a pair of Sony WH-1000xm4’s which I would like to connect to the port, via a Bluetooth transmitter. could anyone recommend what I need to get? (I may consider a headphone amp, if that’s the best route)Cheers Ratty

When will bbc sounds application be available in Sonos outside of the UK? The app is available worldwide for download so it should not be geo restricted. I know it’s available for UK users why can’t it be made available in North America? Is this something that is being looked into? 

I have woken up this morning and launched the new Placebo album, "Never Let Me Go" via my Samsung S21 Ultra Sonos App. I looked to see what the current track title was and noted that it was still displaying the opening track. I checked on my Kindle and that is continuing to show the correct current track ( three changes since I found the Android issue)

I have 4 sonos 1 speakers spanning 3 generations:  1x Play:11x Sonos one,2x Sonos one SL I have routine connectivity issues, with speakers dropping intermittently and from time to time an inability to connect to 1 or more speakers.  I will sometimes be able to stream direct from Apple Music to one of the speakers but at the same time the speaker will not show up in the Sonos app.   I recently upgraded my network router to a mesh router in order to try and stabilize my connection and improve security. this seems to have had no impact. Any help you can provide would be great.

If i tourn off the microphone and Put the volumen at 50% , I can reach 10 hours of battery life.My question because this happens, maybe there is some excessive use of processing that drains the battery when the microphones are turned on.  or is trueplay the cause or some bug in the software?n the manual it does not say anything about the energy consumption if I put a voice assistant or if I use trueplay.  they only say that it lasts 10 hours with the volume at 50%Another thing, if it were that trueplay spends so much energy, they should put the option to do it once when the user decides it and not that it is on constantly.  nobody is going to be moving a horn so many places.  The battery usage of these active functions may not be correctly calculated.*my advice to sonos roam users, turn off the mic if you want longer battery life.*The new Sonos Roam SL confirms my theory.  The same speaker with the same 17wh battery but without the microphone

Team, I have had the suite of Sonos products for coming on 6 years now and I’ve always had automatic system updates switched off so that when an update does come out, I can see what is being updated and choose when to update it.Your support page says that we have the option to switch off automatic updates, so please when I then get system update messages in the app, stop giving me a dialogue box to enable automatic updates. I should be able to hit the message at the top telling me an update is available and have the option to update straight away from there.

Tout la journée, je suis sur un écran pour la travail, puis on ajoute le cellulaire (un autre écran), le Gps (écran), etc. En écoutant la musique ou un film, je vais souvent changer le volume. Et de devoir encore regarder un écran pour changer le volume, cela ne me convient pas. Je sais que nous sommes à l'aire des technologies, mais une manette, c'est de base il me semble.  J'aurais souhaiter au moins que les anciennes manettes fonctionnent sur la nouvelle génération de sonos. Merci Elaine

In the app my roam shows as offline and occasionally it decides to show itself! Is anyone else having this problem? Oh, and the battery life is horrendous so far. If it doesn't improve very soon I suppose I'll have to take it back. Can anyone recommend a good Alexa enabled speaker for the bathroom?? 😳

I have a Sonos 5 which works fine with my turntable. As the turntable is in a large room, I also bought two Sonos 0ne sl speakers to group with the Sonos 5. Although the Ones work by themselves and show up on the app, when I try to group them with the Sonos 5, I get the message that the product can’t be found. I’ve reset them several times to factory default but always get the same message.Appreciate any help. 

I can add a song to a playlist, including a song playing on, for example: pandora to my playlist.But I can’t add the station I set up on Pandora to my play list.this seems like an obvious use case, WHY didn’t you provide that functionality?

We are about to do an outdoor TV / audio set up. I just want to verify what I’ve learn and hopefully get some people’s input here. From what I’ve gathered…Option 1 - It sounds like we can either get a television that is bluetooth capable and then pair that with whichever individual speakers we would like.. correct?Option 2 - We can get a non-bluetooth TV and a Sonos sound-bar.  Then additional speakers will connect via the soundbar. Any suggestions here?  Is my thinking correct?  Anyone have input as the best way to go in utilizing Sonos for an outdoor television set up? Thanks! 

Hi, I just purchased an Amp and I would love to use a remote with it to control volume from afar when my phone isn’t around.I’ve seen several topics about this on here but several folks are suggesting a $100 universal remote which I find very expensive given that all I want to do is control the volume + up and - down. That’s it. I won’t be using the Amp to control a TV setup, just streaming and vinyl. Does anyone have any relatively inexpensive IR remotes that are compatible with the Amp? 

I’m trying to connect my new Roam to an existing system, using the Sonos app on my phone.The app is able to identify the product, which has a green blinking light.I’ve had several different outcomes, but never a connection.“Your mobile device is unable to set up your product. Use a different mobile device and try again.”→  I’ve used three different devices (2 iphones, 1 Android) no result.“Your mobile device couldn’t connect to your Sonos Roam. Move your mobile device closer and make sure the Sonos Roam is powered on.”​​​​​​​​​​​​​​→ No result.On one occasion the app offered an alternative method connecting over a ‘temporary network’ with the Roam making a sound which the phone was able to pick up. Hello everyone.Just bought ARC + Sub gen3 for my living-room and connected them after Trueplay tunning.After streaming music from Spotify via airplay, I've noticed I am reaching 70-75% of the volume to hear loud and clear, although in store which is x100 bigger than my living room, the arc managed to be even louder with it's volume.What am I doing wrong here? arc and sub are with version 14.4, no volume-limit applied, same volume via appleMusic service, same volume from ARC-HDMI connection from appleTv

I have a number of Sonos amps and want to use my music library for an alarm. This should be an easy task for engineers to implement. I do not want to create music lists as I takes too much time when I can simply select a genre, album or an artist from my already existing music library.I also don't understand why Sonos closes out requests such as this when the community would like to add comments at their will.To me, this is just a nuisance and reason to move to another product.

I have an LG C1 OLED and everything works with the magic remote, and the Roku remote works when I am settings of the LG, however during normal use the Roku remote will not consistently change volume (it does seem to randomly work every 1 in 20 attempts)Help!?

I’m a new user of Sonos and purchased a Port to add to my analog amplifier and old speakers, enjoying Apple Music without computer apparently all right.  It’s just great! But I started to wonder, if I connect my existing (external) DAC to Sonos Port via RCA LINE-IN, does it mean the music signal (from computer) goes through DAC twice (external AND internal), of the internal DAC of Port is automatically by-pathed?  I wanted to make sure, before I buy a NAS and move all the music file in my Mac to it and connect it to the router via Ethernet,

Hi.I am just curious why the Sonos app updates so frequently?The app seems to update 2 or 3 times a week!Everything is working okay now after the latest update but prior to that the sound (whether coming directly from the TV or from streaming music via the Amazon Music app) kept sporadically going mute and I had to fiddle around to get it working again.I am currently on Sonos OS S2, Version 14.4 and Build 67127100Anyone else had this problem and by the way it's no fault with my fibre optic internet connection or WiFi !Cheers 🍻 

the play menu and the library should show the length of the items listed. this would greatly assist in selecting items, e.g. different versions of the same songALSO - personally I am very frustrated with having to use my phone to setup the systems.  i have a dedicated desktop for my music and you have made it almost defunct :(

Can you tell me which one it is and how it compares with Sonos one Sonos move and Sonos roam?
