Since I live in Colombia where Sonos and Google Assist are not yet auth. for use am I better off just getting the cheaper Roam SL?
Bit disappointed with the playlist choices on Sonos Radio HD, nothing further back than the 80s as far as I can find. Do you agree?
Home wifi, 2 Sonos speakers working well. We have a turntable and a DVD-player (that we use to play CDs but the amplifier and speaker connected to the turntable and DVD/CD player are very old.I want to stream the turntable music and music from CDs through the SONOS speakers. Can I simply obtain a SONOS amplifier and just plug both devices into the SONOS amplifier and have the music appear in my SONOS speakers? Thanks for advice! Michael S
Hi, I have a Sonos setup at work (two Sonos / Ikea lamps) and a Sonos setup at home - couple of Sonos Ones and a Sonos Sub. Everything is running off wifi in both locations.Today I brought my home gear to the office and tried to add it to the Sonos setup there as we have an event, but the products are not found. I have even tried wiring them with a cable, but still not found. My work sonos products uses one email address and my home sonos products another, can this cause an issue when trying to add the products to the work setup? Any other possible reason why we can’t connect them? Thanks Frank
I have my Beam connected to my home entertainment center, which happens to be powered by a PC. It works great except that if the computer is silent for 10 minutes, Sonos switches off of TV input. Switching it back manually is frankly a PitA - I set it to TV input, and I want it to stay that way until I change it.I know many use the default “autoplay” setting so if TV sound is detected it switches to TV input, but that means anytime anyone messages me my music cuts out if I’m playing a song from the app or by voice. Plus there’s a delay while it switches back, which an obnoxious and leads to missed messages. Again, I had Sonos stream music, and I want it to stay that way until I change it.There were several requests some years ago about this (eg https://en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-228993/playbar-tv-source-timeout-6734339), but at the time the answer seemed to be just “it’s fixed to timeout to 10 minutes and you can’t change it.” Is there some reason we still can’t override this
We’ve got a Frame TV, so the whole idea is that the TV is more or less camouflaged on the wall by a frame and other artwork. The sound on the TV is fine, but I would love to be able to use the Five speaker in conjunction with the TV sound. Unfortunately the Five would require another sound bar first, as it doesn’t have enough connection options on the unit. Does anyone else have workarounds? Or also have this use-case where they’d like more ways to connect the Five?

I am interested in getting the new Sonos Ray but our tv is a bit older. We have a digital audio out that looks really similar to an optical outlet, which is required for the Ray. Does anyone know if that port will work?
Hi. I am hoping to mount my Sonance Outdoor speakers around my yard, using some type of in-ground pole or stake for mounting. Is there a brand/model that is recommended for this? Thanks.
I have 2 x ZP100 and 2 x ZP80 that, despite all working perfectly, it’s probably time to ‘upgrade’ them….more because S2 might be worthwhile having (hmmm).I understand that I can get a discount on buying new Sonos products if I submit them into the Upgrade Programme but really unclear how this works if I retire all 4 items at the same time. Each ZP80 and ZP100 shows 30% discount. Thus if I submit them all into the Upgrade programme can I then buy 4 separate Sonos items, at different times, and get 30% off each? Or if I submit all 4 items at the same time do I get only one 30% discount on buying one Sonos item?Or do I just enter say one of the ZP80 into the Upgrade programme, get the 30% discount, buy a new Sonos product with 30% off, and enter the next ZP80 (or 100) into the Upgrade programme some time later when I need another Sonos product, get 30% off...and repeat until all 4 have been ‘Upgraded’?I also see in the FAQs that I can keep, and continue to use, the ZP80/100 even after ent
Can i connect a cd player directly to sonos port without having an amplifierI would like to play CDS through Sonos speakers I am looking to purchase a Sonos connect and CD player Do i need anything else ie amplifier I know i can purchase a NAS and stream but i want to play CDS I would also like to add a turntable at some point Help required please
Sonos PLEASE add aplikation to full 5.1 / 7.1 … its simple add right + left Front speakers to soundbar!!!!!
I had an urgent need, and I mean urgent need to get the volume turned down…NOW. Couldn’t get it done because of the pop up ad nonsense from the brains at Sonos. Why does this crap have to hinder an otherwise smooth operation? Ditch the billboard!
I’ve been using SONOs products for the past year, and never had any problem with them playing music. However, I could never connect via Bluetooth to my Sony Bravia TV (2020, 65-inch - Model # KD-65KX75CH) so I bought an ARC this past month. I connected the HDMI directly into it, and … It wasn’t the miracle home theater experience I was looking for. PROBLEM:* The sound constantly cuts out every 30 seconds for a brief second (noticeable)* When turning audio up/down via my SONOs app or the remote control there’s also a blip in the soundREMEDY:* ?IS THIS:* A Google App/SONOs issue?* Do I have to play with my settings somehow? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or solutions.
After years paying for Spotify, and having flirted with Apple Music for years as well, and abjuring Pandora, I’ve finally decided that YouTube Music does by far the best job of curating songs for me based on just a little bit of criteria. In short, YouTube Music is the coolest. And yet as has been well noted by other commenters, Sonos completely sharts the bed when it comes to software integration with YTM. Don’t know about others but I can get mine to do a sum total of zero functioning, as far as YTM is concerned. It honestly feels to me like there was some spat between programmers or companies that resulted in a what is essentially a big eff you from one to the other, or a detente perhaps, where someone pissed someone off or had a huge ideological difference of opinion, words were said and then everyone walked away from the conference room table, and left to sit there what is basically a 1/8th developed integration option that does nothing but get people angry. How else can you expl
Hi All,Hoping to get some support here as Sonos support has been highly disappointing. I have had a Sonos Arc and Sub Gen3 for 7 months and recently added a pair of One SL’s to make the system a compplete 5.1.2. There were no issues initially until last week and quite recently I have started to experience the below symptoms: Sub Gen 3 and Surrounds completely pair out and produce no sound Produce Lag when a track is played All speakers show Online in the app (Arc+Sub+LS+RS) and I dont see “?” Problem is consistent across platforms when it happens » Playing TV, Apple Airplay, Netflix, YoutubeI have a basic Wifi setup with dual band wifi and mesh that has been there for 6+ months. Initially, I tried rebooting each device which resolved the issue temporarily until it occured again. I then resetted the whole system from scratch starting with Arc, Sub and surrounds each. However, the problem didnt go away. I raised a case with Sonos and to my luck, I came across engineers who dont fully un
I have an outdoor tv that I would like to be able to play over my Sonos amps that have wired outdoor speakers connected. However, I don't want to connect one of the SONOS indoor sound bars to be able to play my TV across all my outdoor speakers. Has SONOS considered some sort of adapter that would connect to the tv audio outputs (but not necessarily a speaker) that would be visible in the app to group other speakers with? Or a very small speaker that would connect to the tv that would be hidden behind a mounted tv?
I was wondering if anyone had a solution for a scratched top of a Sonos Playbase other than just living with it? Whether it be a cover, a special solution or even reaching out to Sonos to see if they’d sell a replacement shell. I’m less disappointed than I would have been when I first got it, but I haven’t quite progressed to just letting it go. Thanks in advance to anyone that answers.
Hello, I’ve recently switched my TV to a LG OLED C1 77”.Coming to this from a samsung Q60 QLED on which Atmos and my Sonos home theater (Arc+Sub+2xOneSL) was working fine. After setting up the new TV to the wall I found out that atmos isn’t being passed to Arc even after enabling the different settings.Audio output: Pass Through (Also tried Auto) eArc support: Enabled (Also tried Dolby Digital +)Reproducing an Atmos enabled content from the Netflix native app, the Sonos app shows it’s playing Digital Plus 5.1 no matter what settings I try.Already tried plugging everything in and out and tried a few solutions from reddit such as turning eArc on, unplugging the arc and enabling when plugged back.Cause of the wall mount I can’t double check what HDMI port the Arc is plugged into but I’m pretty sure it was port 2 (even though all the ports on TV support 120hz and Earc)
Just purchased a 10.0 tablet anything I need to know before I switch app from my phone to my new tablet?
Hi All,I have an LG Oled C7V (2017 year) and Sonos Playbar. Looking for upgrade to Sonos Arc, but have a question related to newly supported formats (Atmos, TrueHD etc). there is a note that TV should support eARC which is supported with HDMI 2.1. But according to various articles i have read, the HDMI 2.0b also supports Dolby Atmos. Questions - will i get all the Sonos features working with my TV?
I have 6 Connects in my house (plus one amp and one Beam). Sadly, I now wonder if I have put my bet on the wrong horse. One of my Connects ar connected to at 12 channels amp, powering the 6 pairs of 3rd party in-ceiling wired speakers covering my kitchen- and open area. Now I feel I really need one or two subs in this area. But silly Sonos does not let me connect a Sub with a Connect. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Could I buy a One and pair the Connect, One and Sub to be controlled together as one area? Could I somehow connect a new Connect to a 3rd party amplifier and a 3rd party sub, and pair the two connects together? Is there any way to use a Sonos Amp to power my 6 pairs of speakers, for then to pair the Sub with the Sonos Amp?I invested in Sonos because it was supposed to be simple :(
I would like to add 2 rear speakers to my Sonos Arc, but I’m confused about which ones I need - is it the Sonos one, or Sonos one SL? I don’t understand the difference - thank you!
Hi There. I had some great support yesterday about setting up my LG C1 new TV with my Arc soundbar. Apple TV now plays Atmos content and my app shows that the Arc is receiving Dolby Atmos. So far so good.My problem now is that when trying to play a film, that I know has an Atmos soundtrack, from my Mac mini M1, using VLC ( tried various other programs also), the soundtrack only comes through as Stereo PCM.I have set the TV for eArc support and Pass through. All help appreciated.Tony
Hi Everyone! Been looking for months to find an answer and figured it’s time to ask the community. Here is my situation: I’ve got 2 older amps (connect:amp and a ZP100) that each run a pair of Klipsch 650-SM ROCK SPEAKERS (FYI- each rock speaker is true dual speakers). These run on the S1 app since the older amps don’t support S2. My entire house is S2 and I’ve come to a point that I either need to downgrade all my speakers in the house to S1 or figure out a way to bring my outdoor speakers into the S2 world. Would I be able to purchase 1 Port and use it for both older amps? While they’re currently set up in 2 outdoor zones, one zone would be fine. Or do I need to bite the bullet and purchase 2 new Sonos Amps? Any other ways to make it work without dropping $1k+? Thanks in advance!
