It’s pretty disappointing that Sonos has put out another update, yet the problem with the sub is still there. I have done everything I can, including removing the sub out of my network, re-installing, changing settings, turning off trueplay etc. still the Sub is mediocre now at best. We spent quite a bit of money for this type of return on our investment? SONOS, you’re really letting us down. I do read some reviews where some people don't have an issue, But I suspect this may be what Peter Pee was referring to. as its affecting some but not others.  We are getting to the point where, if things don't get fixed in a hurry, we will ditch Sonos all together and go back to a tried and true dedicated system. My wife and I enjoy our cinema time at home, especially since the whole pandemic thing took place, we watch a lot of movies at home. We downsized our home in 2019 and decided to downsize our HT system as well (came from Marantz, SVS 7.2 Home theater system). We had towers, center channel

Brand new Sonos move and a base charger not charging.  I have another move so I tried and it charges using my old base. The new base will not charge either of my Sonos MOVE SPEAKERS.  Seems like a faulty base. I’ve checked it and it doesn’t have any debris or anything on the points. Any ideas?

Play 5 gen 1 does not show in S2 app, but does when logged into account on sonos.com on system, no upgrade option showing. Trying to get the discount so can upgrade on line store….. Any ideas why?

I have a ‘port’ and programmed local fm radio i get ads before the station comes on?it seems like something maybe sonos generates, not sure? 

I have 6 sonos sonance in ceiling speakers, however I am using 14/2 speaker wire. Re they Arc and 14.12, I have dual Gen 3 subs and Fives as surrounds. It’s not just the sub(s). It’s the surrounds too.  They are now barely audible and the Arc is overly forward vocally.  The whole sound profile is night and day and not in a good way.  The fact that a release like this gets past QA from a company that differentiates itself on its software platform is beyond me.  Turning off Trueplay only makes it more annoying. Unlistenable and unwatchable for a $3k + system.  

Recently there is a marked difference between the volume and loudness. It seems I have to crank things up a bit to experience the loudness and umph I enjoyed before. Don't know if it is because i got out of the beta testing group, or after I enabled Sonos Voice, but i am not happy. Before volume 7-10 worked perfectly as background passive listening for my reggae music, now i have to crank it up to 15!! :(

I find the on-screen graphical user interface volume control overlay to be quite annoying while adjusting the volume up or down during a program or movie. I really don’t understand why it’s there at all, as it does not even give a sound level? Is there a way to turn this off? Thank you for your replies!

Sonos keeps unpairing my beam gen 2 from sub and surrounds for no reason. I get this image and have to setup the room from scratch each time to get it to work. Does anyone else get this problem?

Hey guys, I am currently making progress in our remodel and I wanted to double check my sonos planning before buying all the components.In pink you will see all Sonos equipment I am planning for. For context I have a wemax nova 4k short throw and a 100” ALR screen, maybe upgrading to 120” 2 subwofers on each side of the screen facing the couch 1 sonos arc sound bar 2 front ceiling speakers 2 back ceiling speakers 2 ceiling speakers on top of the dining/pool table I want to confirm I will need, 3 amps? 1 for each pair of ceiling speakers? Best, 

I have having issues with the Sonos app. When I search for a song/artist-album, for example, Miles Davis… the result will appear in multiple services.  I usually like to play through Spotify, but I can’t get down to Spotify on my list of services. I try to scroll past Amazon and SoundCloud and the app ‘jumps back up to the top. It is super annoying- I can see Spotify as the next service, but the screen jumps back to the top before I can select it. Any ideas?

For the last couple of months every time I start up the Sonos app on my S21 phone, I can’t scroll the My Sonos tab either across to show more radio stations or down to show the BBC Sounds options. Sometimes it allows me to scroll across but not down and other times no scrolling at all.If I press Edit then Done in the Edit screen without changing anything, the scrolling works OK for the time that the app is loaded, but if I close and re-open the app it goes back to not scrolling again. 

I have a pair of Sonos move speakers (bought them versus 1s because I enjoy the flexibility to take them outside in the summer) that are hooked up to my turntable via a port. They work great, but are currently sitting on boxes because I haven't found any decent stands that are meant for them.  Curious if anyone in the community has found a good set of speaker stands that can securely hold them? I know I could wall mount with Sanus but I would ideally want them a bit farther away to get a better sound when I listen to records. 

Afternoon all,Bit confused. Removed a SUB from the kitchen environment and replaced it with a new one. Only reason was the colour! Kitchen redecorated in white and a white sub fitted in more 😀 The (removed) black sub I created a location for in our Hall / Stairs area. That area already has two pairs of B&W CCM 682’s in ceiling … one pair in hall, one pair on landing. Also an existing Sub on landing. Tried to add that and indeed the device was reset and added to the environment. But when I try to add it to a room, only three Amps are visible. Interestingly the new black square Amp’s. The slightly older Connect Amps do not show in the app yet they are S2 compatible. The Hall/Stairs/Landing device is an S2 Connect Amp. Arguably it could benefit from an upgrade to the 125W unit but surely that should show and allow the second Sub to be added to it? Any ideas on that? I’m going to do a full network reset tonight and see if that helps. it’s been a while since it was all rebooted. The S2

I have two rooms next to each other and I'm going to put a Sonos Beam (Gen2 ) in each of those rooms. Each soundbar will be connected to a tv.1.Is it possible to pair the two soundbars and listen to the same music?2.Can I hear what one of the televisions gives on both soundbar at the same time?3.Putting the TV in mute mode, can I listen to music from the app and the TV broadcast continues to play?

Heading to a boys cottage weekend and have a choice of what to bring for stereo music setup.cottage has wifi  speakers will be placed inside in a large open room    Pair of Play 5 Gen 2s stereo paired pair of Sonance by Sonos outdoor speakers powered by a Sonos Amp (newer one)which one should I bring to maximize sonic characteristics? 

I just bought a Panasonic TX-43LX650E Android TVTM and I can’t get the remote control to run my SONOS system. Is there a solution or is it preferable to buy another controller? If I need to buy another controller, any advice on what command to buy from Amazon to manage TV and Sonos? Thanks

Hi, in the current version setting up an alarm to play your song in playlist automatically puts it in a repeating loop. Also there is no option to stop the alarm automatically when the song finishes. I would like to request Sonos to make:1. repeat loop an option in alarm settings whether you want to repeat or not?2. Have an option to stop alarm when the song finishes, in addition to the current method to set a time limit. like the suggestion to make Sonos make the changes. Thanks

Trying to fit a Port and One in a tight space. If I place the One directly on top of the Port, there will be plenty of airspace around the units. Will this be ok?  An alternative would be to set the port on its side. Would this be a better option? ta

Hi! I am using playbar and sub with two play 3s as a rear. Movies are  excellent but muaic is lacking. The 3's and sub sound really good but the fact they are behind my seating position puts me in a "inverted" sweet spot. Granted, i do not have the urge to listen to muaic in stereo ofren, but still i like to enjoy it from time to time.What would you do of the folowing:1. Buy a pair of ones and put as rears and.move the play 3s on either side of the tv and use them for.music2. Buy a pair of ones and put them on either side of tv and use them for music3.
