The app works so bad it is unbelievable.How can a major company get away with this?The Apple music so called integration works really really bad! Any plans for a new ?

Hello, I have a client with two 70v in each of their restrooms that are run in series. We originally planned on using the Sonos speakers but were unaware of what’s currently there. Am I able to power 4 QSC AD-C6T speakers as shown below? Thank you in advance! I’m guessing that may run into issues with the fact that the output is stereo and that a Port is a better option but was hoping to not have to change our order. Thank you!   

I have had various home theatre options over the years, starting with a Yamaha standalone amp with Mission speakers and for the last year LG SN11RG with Atmos etc. I very rarely notice any real movement of sound with perhaps the occasional tinkle from the rear speakers. My TV room has a chimney breast with an alcove to the left of the TV, a door to the right, textured ceiling above and an RSJ across the bay window where I  normally sit to watch TV. Am I ever likely to experience moving sound. I have heard Sonos arc in a shop and it sounded great - but in my experience the room has more effect on the perceived surround sound than the speakers. Is there a way of loaning or renting the Sonos Arc to try out and see if its any better than what I have. My existing system sounds excellent specially for films with dolby Atmos but I am guessing a  Sonos arc with a sub would probably sound at least as good. I do not want to purchase the Sonos only to find its not that different to what I already

Hello community  I’m moving to a new house and planning to upgrade my sound system maybe to a somos 5.1.2 on my living room. The issue I’m facing i use a onkyo receiver 656 and many inputs connected to it and tv and projector on the output. With somos the sound bar just have one hdmi and I need to both tv and projectors working. I’ve spend sometime doing research but couldn’t find anything simple to. Does anyone has the same problem or have the solution for it?thanks in advance for any help.

I got a Beam + 2 One SLs to hook up to my JVC TV.The system sounds great but it simply would not wake up when the TV was switched on.  All the HDMI CEC and TV Autoplay settings were correct etc.  Only thing I could do to get it awake was reboot the TV each time (or unplug / replug the HDMI cable).  Not ideal.But I think I’ve found a fix.Also attached to the TV (by HDMI) is a Sky Q box and an old DVD player (never used but using an HDMI port all the same) so, in the name of experimenting, I moved the Sky box from HDMI1 to HDMI3 (my eARC port is HDMI2 which obviously is where the Sonos is patched) and unplugged the DVD player completely.And now the Sonos system springs to life when I take the TV off standby.

Hello everyone and thanks for all the great information on here.I’ve been using Sonos for many years so I’m using a Bridge, 2 x Connect:Amp, and a Play:1.My space and my home theatre set up are unique.I’m using Sonos for music playback (Tidal, Spotify) as well as my little home theatre with a big screen. The theatre space is built in the corner of a 25’ x 35’ shop with 16’ . We have a loft in one end, below which is 8’ open joist ceiling. Under the loft and in the corner is the living room with with a roll up 10’ widescreen and projector (and leather couch) where we watch movies.Are you with me so far? 😁Connected to the back of the projector is a Roku Express 4K video streaming stick. Have recently changed wifi routers. Followed the reinstall recs and seemed to have navigated that successfully…. except: When streaming from my Apple Music account (only), I seem to get sporadic skipping and ultimately an error message concerning the strength of my wifi. I do not have issues with Sirius, Sonos radio or streaming via a Bluetooth connection to my equipment. Thoughts? 

My neighbor can connect to my Sonos speaker, intermittently. How can I prevent this?

Hi , I have a pair of FIVE speakers wired into a new turntable which works brilliantly. I want to operate a CD player alongside, can I do this without unplugging the turntable every time?

I am trying to stream Audible and Sonos won’t get past ~4:16 when I’ll get the error message ‘Unable to play ‘Audible’ access denied’. I will then restart Audible, it will play another 4:16 second and repeat the error, over and over.I called the Sonos 1-800 # and they said I was getting interference. I turned off my error network and this fixed the problem for about 24 hours. Now the issue is back.My other streaming services (Tidal, XM Radio) work fine and I’ve never had this issue. I’ve tried with a Sonos Roam in a different room and get the same problem. I’ve tried streaming Audible on my phone (not on Sonos) and I get past 4:16 easily, no problems. So, the issue has to be with Sonos. I’ve tried deleting the Audible access in the Sonos app and that didn’t solve anything.I’ve been using Sonos for 10+ years now and have never had a problem like this and am very frustrated.I’m using this with Alexa but the same problem happens when I use the S2 remote app.  

I have disabled Dolby Atmos in Amazon Music Unlimited but it still plays Dolby Atmos when using the Sonos app.I am not sure if this is an issue with the Sonos app not honoring the Amazon settings or if the integration with Sonos is with the Amazon development team.Either way, I would like to suggest that Sonos or Amazon exclude Dolby Atmos when it is not enabled in the Amazon music settings.Thanks,Wazza

Hey my friends. Inquiring on some settings help. My setup is currently an LG TV with a Firestick 4K (using YouTube tv/Netflix/etc.) I have a Beam (gen 2) with 2 One SL’s as my surround. ARC is established. My questions are on both the tv and Firestick settings:  everything connected via HDMI  LG TV Settings:Sound Out: HDMI ARCQuestion 1: Digital Sound Out…..options are Auto, PCM, or Auto??Question 2: HDMI Input Audio Format (HDMI 1 = Firestick). Bitstream or PCM?Question 3: HDMI Input Audio Format (HDMI 2 = Beam into ARC input). Bitstream or PCM?Firestick Settings:Question 4: Surround Sound setting: Best Available, PCM, or Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus?Much appreciated for the support my friends!  

According to TCL, their 2022 Series 5 TVs support atmos. I’m considering buying one and connecting my system (Beam 2, sub, and Ones surround speakers). Does anyone here run atmos on such a system with the TCL 5? Just wondering of it works. Thanks,Brian

Want to know where I should focus my energy to get lossless / hi res supported on Sonos.  Is it Sonos that hasn’t had time to implement, doesn’t plan to etc, or is it Apple that is restricting access to the higher quality streams.Support should be provided through the S2 App.

Any reason I can’t shuffle ‘all songs’ on iTunes via Sonos iOS app? Seems like basic functionality  UPDATE this functionality on Sonos exists with Sonos iTunes integration and works with playlists, just not ‘all songs’ like it does on iTunes app

EDIT: Was able to fix myself. Hi everyone. I just set up two of my Sonos One speakers. I am able to play a lot of my music using my device (Samsung Note 10, Samsung music App). It seems to be able to detect a lot of my playlists. However I added some new music, and the Sonos app cannot detect the playlist. I also took a closer look and there are a few other playlists it cannot detect. A few times now I have  done the “Update Music Index Now” feature and it seems to do nothing. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate the help, Thank you

We are nearing the end of construction for our new restaurant and I wanted to get some help on what to order. It will be one unit, about 3,000 square feet, divided into two units. There will also be a small outdoor patio.We are thinking to do 2 indoor speakers inside the larger part of the restaurant, and 1 on the smaller side, with two on the patio. We have 6 Sonos SL at our other restaurant (4 inside and 2 on patio) with a boost, and we have had a lot of issues with them. Speakers cut out and resetting them is so difficult. The boost isn't in a space that is provides much help. This new location will have more flexibility on what we get and where to put things. So my question is: What speakers would work best in this space, if we wanted one speaker to be separate from the other 4, and to avoid frequency/bluetooth issues, that require climbing up on a ladder and resetting each speaker and pairing and all that nonsense? 

Hi therei have a new Samsung 55 inch QLED (Q60B) and I can’t connect to my new gen 2 beam. It consistently says the message “your audio device is connects to a port that does not support ARC, please connect your device to HDMI (2) ARC port.” I have connected the HDMI cable to the rear of the tv in the ARC connection just above the audio out. what am I doing wrong? ThanksJoe

Hi I'm a long time Sonos user with Arc, Sub, Play 1 surrounds, move roam, Play3 x 2, 3 x Play 5 and  Boost in general my system was stable until just before Christmas when I started to experience track skipping, speaker loss etc.Using the support matrix I discovered that ALL my Sonos items were experiencing high ODFM ANI numbers i.e. wifi interference they were all Red!After much messing about I realized that the issues only occured after sunset which is when I'd configured my Phillips Hue system to perform a Christmas lights show, in doing this I'd used dynamic scenes where the lights constantly change colour. The Hue hub constantly sends instructions to the lamps which all rebroadcast in a mesh system similar to Sonos (ZigBee rather than  Wifi B or G) .Hue uses different channels 25 in my case and usually a very short ZigBee transmission (switch on, at x brightness and y colour) which causes no problems. Dynamic colour changing of 20 or so lamps appears to flood the network, possibly
