Hi guys, I have a Sonos Beam that I want to connect but I can't get it to work. When I try to setup the beam and I reach to the part when I have to place the phone near the beam to hear the sound code, the phone (Samsung s24+) doesn't seem to "hear it". (And yes the microphone is allowed in the app settings).I tried the same in an old OnePlus and it worked with that phone. LolModerator edit: combined posts 

How do I fix it?  I have an iphone with the new app, and when I update my sonos desktop software, music library is gone. Never I buy again sonos each time is complicated

Ok, new to the Sonos product family but what I am wanting to do is to have a Turntable with wireless speaker/s that can be used with the turntable as well as with streaming music, TV audio, etc.  It looks like if i get the Project Debut Sonos Edition turntable i would need the ERA 100 with the line adapter cable.  I am assuming the i could put the ERA 100 next to the turntable connected to it with the line adapter cable.  If i were to also get two ERA 300 speakers and put them on each side of a TV in another room….does the ERA 100 that is line connected to the Turntable allow it to also play the music on the 2 ERA 300’s?

WHAT ON EARTH  IS GOING ON WITH SONOS!!My radio station is CONSTANTLY cutting out every few minutes, been happening this past year now and again, but today is horrendous!Nothing has changed re set up etc, when I googled it says most likely wifi, but its definitely not, as It never used to do this at all and nothing has changed😡Its literally every minute or so, Im so frustrated with Sonos, to the point where I actually HATE IT!  Is it happening to anyone else?I will never ever recommend it to anyone, had it for years and always loved it, now its just problem after problem.The new update is absolutely so  disappointing too!!

I can not get pass the terms of use and license. It ask what country and I can put in USA but it will not scroll down or show any kind of button to move on. I have no access to 3 of my 4 speakers. Very frustrating.  Also I can not get through to a representative either through chat or phone.

Radio and Spotify keep cutting out. Suggestion is to change the network number but that is greyed out in settings. No clue what to do. Recent issue. 

Since this latest update my system is terrible, will not connect to speakers then drops each speaker off and on whilst music is playing, true play and the EQ constantly resets itself and I contact Sonos support and just get an automated response email. Sonos I feel are at the forefront of music technology but they are miles behind on customer service. Staring to feel I wish I had never brought any Sonos kit. Does anyone else have the same issue or knows of a fix.

Hello anyone able to suggest how to resolve on going issue we are experiencing loading any content from Apple Music or Spotify since the last Sonos update? Our system worked perfectly for 4 years and now nothing works? I get an error message unable to load content / something went wrong? We have logged in and out, tried to reboot the system, nothing.   We have stable internet service and most speakers are hardwired to our central components HELP? 

I am trying to Connect a sonos One sl.  and i Get this message (see image below)it is connected but doesnt show in the app. When i unplug and plug again it just asks me to Connect all over again. i can however Play music directly from the Spotify app. It shows up as «unknoown room»  

No matter what I do to my play:one speaker I’m unable to locate it with the S2 app. What is the trick here? I previously gone through dozens upon dozens of resets on the speaker and now the speaker is unable to be located with this new S2 app or the prior S1 app, which simply redirects me to the S2 app. For those of us not following the minute by minute Sonos app/speaker changes, what is the trick to getting this to be recognized with the new mobile app?

Had a play 3 for years. It was amazing, almost magical. The app worked great, sound and song selection from my buttons/lockscreen - and it worked flawlessly. Always. Now I’m so frustrated I’ve created an account to vent. For the last several years Sonos is almost unusable. More so w the latest app. Like a minute or two to change an Apple Music et al playlist. Want to change the volume? 10-20 seconds before the app finds the Sonos, connects, figures out what song is playing, then allows me to change volume. Every time. Not just the latest Sonos app, the last two iterations for sure. the only thing is the sound - it’s really good. If I switch to play 5 I think I get Bluetooth and AirPlay - does this mean I never have to use the useless app? Instantaneous controls like every other f’ing speaker out there? fyi it’s not a network issue. I move the play 3 everywhere and it doesn’t matter. Nor do I have an issue with any other device. Many people seem to have had a problem with trying to change the name of a speaker, and finding that the name reverts to it's original. Most solutions offered suggest adjusting settings in Apple Home or HoimeKit. But I had this problem even though I don't use Apple Home. Sonos support werent able to help, but I think I've found a solution.You need to use a mac connected to your iphone or ipad. In finder, navigate to Library/Application Support/Sonos/jffs/cached_hh. You'll find a file named Sonos– followed by a long alphanumeric. Open this file in text edit and use Cmd-F to search for the original name of the speaker. Change the name to the one you want to use. Close the file.That should fix it. It worked for me.Good luck,Colin White

Friend purchase this for me and I've tried on numerous occasions to set this up but it won't seem to let me.  Reboot it several times but nothing.  Gets to the point where the device is set up, asks me where it's located and then it checks for updates.  I get a 1011 error and then it closes and my device doesn't show on the sonos app.  Is this a known issue and how do I get around it?  Tried to phone sonos and the wait time was 80. Yes, 80 minutes.  I really want to complain about how terrible and unnecessarily complicated everything is but I'll save thay for another day.  Really not impressed so far.  Can someone please help?

My sonos move was working fine connecting to bluetooth and playing music, but i wanted to connect it to wifi and use the sonos app with it, which it was refusing to do. So i reset the sonos move. (i suspect wifi  connection wasn’t working because i live at a new house different from where I set it up). Anyhow, I did a reset of the move to see if this would help. Now it needs to be set up again.The application now is able to identify my sonos move, but says i need to update the sonos move in order to finish setting it up and use it. So I accept, and I wait for it to update. But the update is taking very long, so long that the move eventually stats flashing red. Am I supposed to keep waiting for it to finish after this red light happens or no? if it ever will finish updating, I am not sure. I can wait longer I suppose but it is taking a very long time. And the move shouldn’t be broken, the bluetooth was working perfectly fine before i reset the device.

Why do they make this seemingly impossible?! Every time I change broadband provider I have to reset every Sonos product I’ve got, losing everything!!!Is there any better way of doing this. I have a One, 2 x One SL and Beam. When I open up the Sonos app I get a screen that says welcome. Add a speaker or join existing system.
