I’m setting up a Play 1 on a brand new network using the Sonos 2 app. All of the steps seem to complete (chime, joining the temporary network, etc) then the “finalizing connection” screen appears with the bouncing dots. I’ve waited 20+ minutes and nothing has changed. Do I start over? what’s the hangup?
Hi, I just bought the Sonos multiroom speakers Five and Era300. I am having issues with the connection. The setup worked fine, I was able to connect both speakers and initially the music is running in both rooms, but then sometimes one room will lose contact and just stop playing the music. And without me doing anything it will start playing again, going on and off... it's so annoying. Also, there is a latence in how quickly the system reacts to f.ex. me regulating the volume through my mobile, or pausing the music etc.My husband has a One Plus mobile, he isn't experiencing the same issues, it runs smoothly on his phone. Is there anything I can do? Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
This might sound crazy but I’ve tested it many times. I have a Sonos One in my bedroom and like to play “music for sleeping” or sounds like wind or rain when I sleep. When I get up during the night, the speaker stops playing and the white light flashes for a bit as the speaker must be restarting. Then I have to ask Alexa to play the music to restart. If I roll over in bed, same thing happens. It’s as if it has a camera and is watching me. This started about a month or two ago.I have a Sonos sound bar in my living room and I have never experienced this issue there. I have a puppy and have left him crated, with sleep music on, and it is still on when I return home.I do not believe the speaker does this if I play normal music. It only seems to happen when I want sleep sounds. And always cuts out when I sit up in bed or roll over, unless I do it very slowly and quietly.
Hi there. I have a number of older Sonos speakers and only my Sonos Play 1 and Sonos Play 3 are compatible with S2. I also have a newer Sonos system, consisting of the Sonos Arc, and some surround gear. All wroks well independently, however igf I every try and “group” the Arc with the Play 1 or Play 3 it cuts the music out. I have the same issue if trying to group the TV side from thge Arc. Sometimes it works, but generally it cuts the sound on all speakers. I have checked everything is up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and a solution shared with the community.
I’m planning on setting up a sound system at home (4 era100) but I have bad wifi and was wondering if I can connect this system to ethernet but still use bluetooth for streaming? To have good connection between speakers and good streaming from phone to speakers system
Since the update earlier this year, I find that I cannot set an alarm to wake to a radio station unless it is in TuneIn(new). For example, even though I have Radio Paradise as a service, the alarm reverts to chime once set and saved. Even having RP Main Mix saved as a Favourite in Sonos Radio makes no difference. Have others encountered this and is there a solution?
Just upgraded my subs to generation 4 after irritably finding out my two currents subs wouldn’t bond to the new arc ultra (I’ve got over it). So I’ll be selling my old subs and need to confirm which generation they are (I think one is gen 1 the other gen 2) Not seeing an easy way to confirmone is A200 2012 (so guessing gen 1)The other is 1605 (gen 2 maybe) included the hardware versions below any help gratefully received Moderator Note: Removed Serial Numbers, considered private information. I have a pair of Sonos Play 5 pair with the Sonos Sub as my stereo system for music playback. In the same room I also have a Sonos Beam direct connected to my TV.Is there a way that I can have the Sonos Sub paired with both my two Play 5 Speakers and The Sonos Beam at the same time so that I can listen to either the Play 5’s or the Beam with the Sub?
I have had to do a factory reset on my (previously paired) play 3s due to losing audio when grouped with my play 5. (Not an issue I had until recently). Now after doing the setup, my play 3s won't pair. It goes through the motions but come out the otherside still un paired.
Hello, for some reason all my speakers, except the Roam have ceased to work. I also have a Boost. What should I do next to retrieve them? Many thanks.
I purchased a pair of Era 100s several months ago and have not been able to get them to function correctly since I bought them. I am constantly getting a “Product Not Found” message and if I reboot my router they will usually work for a few hours before disconnecting again. Sometimes it will be several days before I can get them to connect again. Also, if I use the speakers as a stereo pair, only one will work and then eventually I will get the product not found error and neither will work. Sometimes I can get them both to work correctly for a few day when they are not in stereo pair mode, but it is inconsistent. Today the issue I am having is that only one speaker will work when they are stereo paired (I submitted a diagnostic code today - 2077731631), however the connection issue seems to change over time and not always be related to the stereo pairing. I have spent 10-15 hours on the phone with sonos tech support over the course of months and the best I can get from them is some vag
Hi everyone - currently I have a gen 2 beam and a sub mini. I’m thinking of buying a single sonos 5. My room is L shaped but all my living/listening is done at the ‘bottom’ of the L. I’m unsure about the best place to put the speakers. I’m guessing that maybe trueplay will adjust the Sonos system to a certain extent. I’ll try to send a photo of how things are presently…
I have the sonos app downloaded and play 3 set up using ethernet cable(changed wifi network and lost speaker connection)I want to be able to use it with out a cable but when I plug it out I lose connection Tried updating network to add wifi but it's not finding the speaker Please advise

Hi I have just bought the Era1 100. I bought it yesterday and my goodness I am going mad, it is disconnecting all the time I have tried rebooting but it still does this. I really like it when it actually plays, but it just drops and I have to keep rebooting and adding my internet password. Its really frustrating - can anybody help please to get this working once and for all.
Hallo liebe Sonos Fans. Chris
I can't set up the play 5 gen 2 using an iphone 16 plus, iOS 18.0.1, i tried using bluetooth and ethernet cable so I have to use an iphone 13, iOS 18.0.1 and it works fine
Will Sonos be developing the ability to pair two subs other than a home theatre set-up? I have two subs in my lounge room and want them to pair with my tow 5’s for general music listening.
So what brand of speakers are people moving to now that sonos have become completely useless crap? JBL seems like quality, the speakers atleast sound much much better than anything sonos has to offer, i am personally thinking of something along those lines. Looking for reccomendations, and who better to ask than former sonos gear owners and user 😊
Helping my parents at their new house. They have Sonos Arc Soundbar with Architectural Speakers. The system when playing music from the Sonos app or phone play on all speakers (soundbar and architectural speakers). However, when watching TV, only the soundbar plays the TV audio. Have tried a bunch of things recommended on the internet with no luck.
what do i need to join my move and roam speakers. I recently sold my hose and left the full system.

I cannot connect my Sonos one to new Vodafone ultra hub. I have compatibility mode enabled and have tried both networks and using a LAN cable. Nothing works. I have contacted Vodafone and they say they have set everything up correctly. Can anyone help?
I read about the Sonos Sub Gen 3 and now the Gen 4. But what I hear mainly is it’s performance with Home Theater Surround sound. What about music?? Does it sound good when listening to music? I’d like to know because I ordered a Gen 4.
