Hi there, I have been having an issue with a play one which I got given from my dad along with another (which works fine just now) and the one I am having bother with was working perfectly fine for a while and now seems to not want to connect to my Sonos app after I just purchased a Sonos ray so looking to get the 2 play 1’s setup for movies etc.  the play one I am having issues with is showing up on my Sonos app and when I go to connect I get by the connecting to the Sonos wifi but soon as I get to the chime it just does not want to do it. I have tried doing a factory reset and does not change from orange to green! Bit of a pain and have done it even with Ethernet cable connected and unfortunately still the same result. Thought I would ask in here as a last ditch effort before I go and buy another. If anyone else has had the same issue or has found a fix it would be greatly appreciated to share. 

I’m trying to add to play speakers to my system that currently has a sound bar and bass.  I have reset the play speakers to factory.  when the app starts setting up the play 1 speakers to add to the system, I get this inane message:  One or more apps on your mobile device are using airplay.  Go to the app and change the audio output to your device.  If anyone can unwind that word salad nonsensical message for me, I will be very grateful.  What app?  Change what audio output to what device?  

Hi, I have a problem. 7 months ago I bought speaker lamp from ikea. I used it quite a lot, and I didn't have problems. 3monts ago we upgraded to new network and I didn't use sonos lamp since.Today, I try to log in but it keeps telling me something, so I was sacred. I deleted the app and I think I created new account. I factory reseted it.But it keeps telling me the password of my internet isn't correct. I watched tutorials where it is plugged into the router but mine is in the wall ( english is not my first language sorry)If you know anything it would help

I just moved and changed internet to verizon gateway. I get all the way thru to where speaker wants to connect and when I type in password it keeps saying it can't connect. Password is correct. Please help, super frustrated 

I have Arc connected to a Sony TV and two Sub (gen 3s).  The Arc and the Subs are on the same wall as the TV.  The Arc in the center, below the TV and the 2 Subs left and right of the Arc (about 6’ left and right of the Arc.   Once in a while I hear what sounds like a low frequency thump or two (kind of like distant fireworks).  I don’t recall this until I added the 2nd Sub.  Thoughts?

Hello, Seeking advice from the experts here.  I recently moved the following to a new location and reset and set everything up as a new Sonos system.3x Play:1 1x SonosOne 1x Sonos RayUnfortunately, the move coincided with the issues Sonos started to have with the new app and this has left me mostly confused.  The problems:The system tends to go offline from time to time.  One Sonos (Android) app, the entire system will disappear. Sometimes, some speakers will go offline and not show up in the app. Speakers sometimes don’t show up in Spotify Speakers play a track for a few seconds and then skips to the next - can happen for a few songs before things settle down.I suspected a weak network signal that might be causing it so I had my wireless router (issued by my local ISP) relocated to a “central location”.  This did not improve the situation.  Before the system was moved to this new location, it was part of my setup at home. Hi, I have an old Play:3 that I would like to use with my tv (Google TV). I’ve connected it to my phone and what not I just can’t figure out how to play sound from the tv. Ideally I would like to use Bluetooth but I am open to any suggestions. Thanks

I have 2 Sonos 1’s along with a Sonos Arc in my living room. I initially had them set up as surrounds. However, due to my hearing loss, I removed the surround set up so I could control them each individually. With them connected as surrounds or not, intermittently I get a crackling/scratchy noise mostly from the 1’s. Arc has done it also. My system is up to date. I’ve moved some of my Sonos 1’s from other rooms in our home, crackling continues even when swapping other speakers out. I attempted to Chat with Support today but Darius doesn’t understand the word “intermittent”. So, I abruptly ended the chat with no success. Any other troubleshooting suggestions? 

which sonos product is compatible to the Five for pairing in the same room?

Good Morning, I want to go old school and hook up my sono’s one speakers to an onkyo stereo receivier. 1) can this be done and what would my hook up look like?i also want to hook up my turntable to the stereo receiver so the ol LP’s can play away…….thoughts?Thanks in advance for your help. 

When I try to play my local npr station (WUNC) it doesn’t play and an “Unknown Content” message appears by the logo. It is one of my favorites but I have already tried removing it and looking it up again. I get it through tunein. It played fine yesterday and I can play it on my phone through the station’s app so it is not a problem with their streaming. Also tried turning it on from my wife’s phone but that did not work either. Does anyone know what the message means and how to fix it?Thanks!

Hi everyone,  my one sl stops suddenly and refuses to work, the message is "not registered! 

I moved and have a new Network, I have two Play 3’s.  I managed to do a factory reset on one of them and get it connected to my new network.  The second one, I have tried to do a factory reset on to get it connected, but it stays at the Orange/While flashing no matter how long I have waited… I see it in my network when I go to add it goes all the way to the audio test, but then because its not flashing green, it won’t connect to it.  I’m on Starlink wifi, so I don’t have a network cable that I can plug into… How do I do a reset or force the Play3 flash the green so that I can link it? 

The speaker cuts out every so often for 5seconds or so. 

I have a a sonos system for more than ten years but I recently had an odd experience. Twice on coming home from holiday the system had been switched on in my absence. On the first occasion I thought that I had just been careless and not turned it off properly.  On the second ocasion I made sure it was off but when I came back it was on, tuned to a radio station that I never knew existed.  What is going on?

Here are the details:Devices: Sonos Play:1 and Play:5 (both wired) Operating Systems: iOS and macOS (latest version 18.01) Sonos App Versions: Updated to the latest versionIssue:I can’t seem to find either of my devices in the app. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Factory Reset: I factory reset both devices, but that didn’t help. Installed S1 App: Since my devices are older, I installed the Sonos S1 app. It indicated that they have S2 software, making them incompatible with the S1 app. This also proves the devices are discoverable! Network Check: I’ve checked my LAN, and everything seems to be functioning well and discoverable, and there have been no router/lan/wan changes.  Reinstalled S2 App: I deleted and reinstalled the latest version of the S2 app on my phone and checked the network is discoverable by the app.Despite all these efforts, I’m still unable to locate the devices.Has anyone else experienc

I have four speakers on a system - lately the one I use the most has regularly been missing from the system - showing in the app but not connecting, then connecting, then hilariously playing the radio when showing as not connected.Eventually driven mad by it today I factory reset it after 6 attempted reboots and trying to add it back to the system. All went well until I got the message “Your One SL has been added but may not appear in the your system. If so unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish set up from System Settings.”I did this, and surprise surprise, it didn’t work. I am so infuriated by this. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks. I cannot believe how badly Sonos have managed to mangle their product and reputation. It is just awful and I really regret the money spent on it.

A few weeks ago, I could’ve sworn that Era 100s were £199. In fact, I’m positive they were.I was just about to pull the trigger, but they are now £249 (or £498 / £448 for two). So, does anyone know: Were they on discount before? Are they likely to go back down at any point?

The Sonos app “upgrade” was truly bad, but I had hoped it would be getting better. The last couple of weeks is had gotten much worse. It keeps skipping songs, it cuts in and out and volume controls are basically non-existent. You can try and change it on the app, but nothing happens for minutes on end, and when it does, it is wrong. In summary, the Sonos app is pretty much the much frustrating app I have ever dealt with. If it wasn’t because I have invested north of $30K in Sonos products, I would have permanently deleted the app. I saw the letter from the CEO who somehow allowed this to happen. Supposedly it is getting better. It is not what I am seeing. Quite the contrary. I am at a point where I truly HATE Sonos with all my heart!  

Ive recently moved to college with a Sonos Play 1 speaker. It uses Eduroam so I don't think I can use that wifi channel, but it has a specific IoT wifi router for devices such as Alexa. Could I use this wifi channel, even though I have to have a specific wifi username and password that I obviously cannot put into my speaker as it has no buttons to do so. Any attempt at using the Sonos S1 app has marked it as incompatible.thank you\

I have a sonos arc and other sonos speakers.Sonos arc speaker is the only one that cannot connect to my system.I have a starlink connection and i have try it to other isp connection and its working sonos arcbut to starlink connection it doesn't work.Any suggestions?

Hi, I bought 2 Era 100 a couple of months ago, and they have been cutting in and out often when in a stero pair. The primary speaker is always good, but the secondary cuts in and out frequently. Please help!  They’re connected to a 5GHZ WIFI.  

I have factory Reset all my Sonos Equipment. Recently was gifted a system from a friend who did not know how to reset everything. I have connected the Sub to the system, but the system will not recognize the Soundbar, play:1 x2 or play:5 even if I connect them with Ethernet cable 

So we have this 4 speaker setup that was working just fine and all of a sudden it stopped working. Not knowing why I just proceeded to reset everything but for every speaker the result was the same setting it up over WiFi.I can see the speaker and it also connects to the WiFi (takes long thought) and then it says it’s all done but might not show up in the list. If it doesn’t I’m supposed to unplug it and plug it back in. That is exactly what happens so when I don’t see it in my list I proceed to unplug it. Then I try to add the speaker again but this time it’s not in a reset mode. It finds the speaker just fine and tries to connect and fails. Every speaker does this and this happens every time. What is going on here?The speakers in question are 3x Play:1 and one play:5 When I connect it on ethernet i can actually set it up and even gives me the option to select the location for it.
