this weekend, my neighborhood held an annual yard sale. I bought 2 Play1 speakers and when attempting to register and add speakers to my account / internet, the app asks me to enter the password and shows a partially redacted email address - I assume it is the previous owner because it isn’t mine. Is there a way to remove the previous owner so i can register the speakers? Is there a phone number I can call to speak with someone to provide documents, etc to add these to my sonos account? TIA!!Chris
Hello,Is there a way to get my Samsung TV to work with Play 1 & 3 speakers wireless without adding a sound bar? I have no room for one. Thank you
...but especially the Play 3 on the right channel of a stereo pair.Connect, four Play 1’s, two Play 3’s. The Left Play 3 is wired.Sirius and TuneIn had been fine all week.Last night, Amazon music started dropping sporadically.Today, Amazon and Connect both drop sporadically all over the apartment.I have swapped red and white cables on every piece of equipment up to and including the Connect, so I presume the Right channel dropping while listening to Line In is NOT an input issue.I have spent the last 90 minutes rebooting my system. When I try changing channels, every wireless speaker disappears. So I have brought each one from its locations, brought them to the living room, wired them, rebooted, and slowly they’ve been re-recognized by the system. This has happened twice.Right now the Connect and the Left Play 3 are both wired, and the sporadic dropping continues. (Long term the only device that can remain wired is the Left Play 3.)Diagnostic tickets 138353271369349562I believe the firs

Our current system consists of a Beam and 2 x one sl in the living room, 2 x play 1s in the kitchen. I’ve tried Adding a play 3 with no success, the play 3 resets and adds to the system but disconnects from the WiFi. I’ve tried adding using a Ethernet cable but this hasn’t worked.
Hello, I can’t connect my phone with my Sonos. I don’t have any light on my sonos. Please help me
Strange issue.I have a three zone Gen 1 Sonos system, Sonos .I’m moving my play 5 from the kitchen to the room next to my bedroom. When I start music on the play 5 the Sonos Connect in the bedroom cuts out and then disappears. If I move the play 5 back to the kitchen it is OK and both Play 5 and Sonos Connect work. If I move the Play 5 back to the spare bedroom next to the main bedroom then the Sonos Connect drops out again and disappears from the zone list. The Sonos Connect is wired to the network, the Play 5 is wireless.Any ideas? Is it a proximity issue as the bedrooms are next to each other?
I just got a Sonos Move. I am wondering if there is a setting which allows me to still listen to the speaker while on the phone?
V 14.20OS S2Play 3 & Play 1iMacI have the above system and to be honest use the system relatively lightly.First issue I’ve had of late is since a period in January when I was away and iMac not switched on I came home and found that the Play 1 speaker had disappeared from my system. I unplugged the speaker (from power) and after a minute or so it reappeared on my system. It has since done this at least three times since then - latest being today 3/3/23. Also as a result of this the ‘Music in my Queue also disappears and needs replacing. No big deal, but a bind! Second issue is over last few days I’ve been prompted to do an Update. I click the relevant prompts, I then get asked for my Sonos p’word, I’m then told that ‘an unexpected error has occurred, please try again - I keep trying and get the same response. Can anybody assist re these issues please?I carry out these ops on the IMac, I have the App on my mobile but dont use it. Many thanksKeith
I do not see the Sonos Five on my Bluetooth on my iPhone? How do I connect?
As a big Sonos user with a variety of items, I’m majorly disappointed to find my Sonos sub completely dead and barely after two years of use. It’s in a safe location, never been touched once set up and now there is no power light or any sound. I called customer service, confirmed the power cord is properly plugged in, tested different outlets and didn’t get any power, light, or sound. They suggested I return it and buy another one. For the price of this product, and the quality Sonos claims to be, there is no way a sub should die on it’s own after 2 years. Why would I pay the high price for another when the first didn’t last?
I have a multiple speakers in a group, and in the last few weeks have had numerous issues with audio playing.Currently I have a speaker (Play:1) that is in the group which will not playing audio, but I can play/pause the group from this speaker. I can also remove and add the speaker from the group through the app via iPhone or iPad. However no matter how many times I remove or add the speaker it will not play the audio like the other speakers in the group.Other speakers in the group are two (2) Play:1’s and a Roam.I had this issues with the Roam and I ended up having to reset the Roam and re-pair it to my system. My biggest problem is it appears I am chasing this issue from speaker to speaker. Why? I have a mesh network set up and it is functional. I have already restarted it for troubleshooting, and no change.
Our Play5 used to work over Wi-Fi, but since about half a year ago it can’t connect over Wi-Fi anymore, and now only works when an ethernet cable is connected. We also have a One SL, which works fine over Wi-Fi. I submitted a diagnostic: 1740776518
I am having trouble connecting my two Play 3 speakers to my new WiFi wirelessly. I don't want to have trailing cables so don't want to use ethernet cables. My new Arc has connected perfectly well, but I have reset my Play 3 speakers and they won't connect
Have just bough Beam 2 have read about adding subwoofers etc. I have a spare pare of Ruark M2 speakers I originally used on a desktop & then on a TV but would like to add them to the Beam 2 if possible. I dont particularly want surround sound, just more accptable for playing music. I have seen how to add Sonos speakers but dont want to buy any more speakers & would prefer to make use of these as I like their sound. Could I add them as rear speakers & if so, how would I add them please. I am a novice so not entirely sure how to do this. Thanks
I have 2 stereo pairs of speakers in the bedroom. Is it possible to name one set Bedroom Bookshelf and one Bedroom Lamp? At the Moment where I go to airplay I see Bedroom and Bedroom, making it a pain to pick the speaker I want to use. Thanks
I have the sonos play one. I’m currently using the sonos 1 app, I’ve been told different answers about my compatibility to upgrade to the sonos 2 app. Has anyone here upgraded their sonos play one to the new sonos 2 app??? Is it compatible????
I couldn’t see any of the replies, asking question again. So I have the Sonos play one. Can I use the new sonos 2 app or not. I get different answers. Can someone please clarify please. Right now I’m obviously using the sonos 1 app.
Hi, so I have my spotify acount, when playing a song and pressing the “select a device” button, it just says “connecting” for eternity.Sonos is says the speakers and phone are connected, but plays a random playlist instead of the one I want, complete with adverts that I can pause and play but not change. I would never willingly listen to The Venga Boys. The wife’s plays no problem.
Hi, I’m new to this community. Hoping someone can help me. My Beam and One SL speakers are broadcasting a SSID publicly as an open Wi-Fi network. SSID looks something like this to “SONOS-AxEINDUYIndk+ltN=”. Currently two SSIDs are showing each begins with SONOS- and ends with = character. How can I disable these SSIDs from being broadcast as I am concerned about security.NB: My products are connected to my network via WiFi.
I have had a Sonos system for several years consisting of 2 Sonos One’s, 2 Play Five’s, Sonos Move, Play Bar and a Sub. These have worked flawlessly when grouped together, all connected wirelessly. I have recently moved house but set up my system differently, splitting them and creating more rooms. The system now struggles to connect them all together, music keeps dropping from them randomly then it will chuck random units out of the group, all while struggling to decide what to play from my Deezer playlist, it can keep skipping tracks. It tends to sort itself out after a while playing the playlist but doesn’t like connecting the multiple rooms. My Wi-Fi signal is stronger in my new home. I get good signal in every room which I could not in my last house. Has anyone got any answers for me please?
So since the 15.1 update I had issues with speakers disconnecting randomly. Sometimes it takes several tries to re-add them. Now when I finally managed to re-add them and they are showing up in my app, I'm trying to re-do the trueplay since it was lost on the disconnection (for like the 4th time). But now suddenly I cant even do that. In the middle of walking around in the room I constantly just get "lost speaker" even though I still see them in my app. After the 7th try (after rebooting speakers/router) I gave up and came here to complain. I have the Arc and Sub v3.
I am having same issue as this Creating this new one to bring more awareness and escalate Appreciate response if anyone found fix for this issue. Currently my sub mini has stopped working.
I have a Gen 1 Play:5, been working great on the S1 Sonos App. I also have several other Sonos products on the Sonos App, two seperate systems.I need to re-add the Play:5 to multiple iPhones and iPads. I have successfully factory reset the Play:5 and added to one iPhone, BUT, when I attempt to add it to other iPhone and iPad devices the S1 Sonos App cannot find the Play:5. It continues to find the other Sonos devices and wants to connect to those.Any tricks I have missed in getting the Play:5 added to my other iPhones and iPads. Again, I have the Play:5 successfully added to one iPhone, just cannot get S1 Sonos App on the other devices to find the Play:5.Oh, let me add that I’m on a Unify network. I know there are quirks with Sonos and Unify, or at least there were...
Hello,How come after so long time, the airplay issue was not solved. It is a main functionality. Already reported some months ago. Basically, if you stream from an airplay device using realitimeaudio, not buffered, after some time no audio is playing. Try using plex or vlc on apple tv, or stream audio from a macbook to sonos.Do you guys have this issue?BTW, youtube or apple music is buffered audio, so no problems here.
