I have 4 Sonos SL speakershoe can I add my 2 era 100s to play along side?

I have an issue which is driving me up the wall - I have a pair of Era 100 speakers which worked perfectly well for the first month of their life but now I experience the right speaker not playing anything for up to 20 seconds if I skip to a new track - both on Tidal Connect and Spotify. Every single damn time. I’ve tried moving the right speaker to a different area with less potential interference (i.e. away from gadgets) but it will always cut out whenever I skip through a song or select a new one.I’ve done a bit of research and I gather that setting up a manual IP address may fix the issue. However, I can find no instructions how to do this, other than posts which say “do this, do that” without actually telling you how.Could any kind soul walk me through this please? I’m on Virgin Media and have a strong broadband speed, although I expect the service provider shouldn’t matter. I just want to know where to find the settings, which ones to click on and how to find the ip address. I do

New App on all devices. Started music in usual fashion from iPad. Tried to stop music from iPhone also running new app. This was easy with previous app. Do not see the list of devices and combinations currently playing. I see the music I have playing, but the play >  icon is visible as if music is not playing, not the pause/stop || icon. Attempting to deselect speakers playing from that second device gives me a no output selected error message then resumes playing. Is this a bug or have they hidden a once easy and essential platform function?

Seriously. Like freaking seriously.  From yesterday, since i’ve updated, i am having ton of issues.  1.) I was unable to remove surrounds and still cannot remove them, even after factory resetting them. I even uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, and still nothing. 2.) TruePlay did not work, but thankfully, the reboot of my phone fixed it. 3.) I bought 2 ERA 300s today, but i am NOT ABLE TO EVEN ADD THEM TO MY SYSTEM. App just simply crashes and thats it. FOR REAL like how can u even release the new app in this state? Did someone even test if basic featurs still work? What the hell am i supposed to do now? I love SONOS, but this is getting under my skin.@Corry P    

Helloi have two play:3 and two connect:amp non of which are recognised by the app. I have done factory resets and connected by Ethernet etc but the app doesn’t see them.i also have a move and a roam which are ok, so it seems to me as though the age of the products has something to do with it.please advise.

I moved my pair of speakers from one house to another so to add them to my existing system. As they were set up previously the app says I need to do a factory reset. I have tried to do this multiple times with no luck. Why can’t I get the factory reset to work?

I have two Play:1 speakers that I haven’t used since 2019. Is there a way to update the software/firmware for these speakers?

when i have multiple devices grouped several of them will drop in and out on a regular basis.  Worst offender is the Play5

All my speakers will not connect anymore.My speakers will not be added to my account.Why?

I used to adjust my alarm weekly if not multiple times a week with my fluctuating work schedule. I know with the upgrade the alarm function was removed. However, my previous sonos alarm keeps going off every morning and now I can't edit or cancel it. I can no longer sleep in on my days off!!! Help! How do it get this fixed?!?

After the new controller update my Beam went offline and reverted back to factory default which sucked so I had to reinstall it, but here started the real headache.The initial setup went smooth but the final step where the speaker connects to my account failed and the Beam is now stuck waiting to connect but here’s the kicker…The controller says that the Beam needs to be updated before I can connect but I cannot update before it’s connected, so that’s kind of a pickle…Anyone experiencing the same issue?

I have a bunch of Sonos speakers already working merrily. I’m trying to add one more era 300. The app recognises the new speaker, connects it to my network, then the app crashes.I can see the speaker in my system but I can’t use it, and it is asking me to register it. When I do that the app crashes again. I have factory reset the speaker several times. I have removed the Sonos app and reinstalled it. I have tried this from three different iOS devices and the app crashes on all of them.Sonos support told me to post something on here as they didn’t have a clue.Can anyone help?   

Via updated app-For those getting stuck adding equipment to an existing system and having the equipment not register. A work around is to transfer ownership, use your current account for the from and to.  Under the cog wheel (settings), manage, transfer ownership.  Hope this saves you hours. Hours that wish I had back.  

I can not re connect my Arc

Just installed the updated/new app and my ARC and app no longer work. 

We did the new app install, we are unable to connect to television. When it appears we’ve connected, there is no sound coming from speakers. We use three different, I’m not sure if they’re call receivers or amps, with prior app we could play Spotify out of one and the TV out of others at same time. Now it appears everything loops back to music. Did the 75 minute wait for the 5 minute call that said “issue has been noted and forwarded”. Any suggestions?

I have owned 2 x Sonos One SL since 2020.I return from holiday to discover one of them has disappeared from my system therefore disabling their role as surrounds in my setup.I factory reset to re-add them to my system only to discover that simply will not register with the SONOS server.I factory reset all of my devices and reset the app to discover I have issues with most of my devices.I have managed to get 3 out of 5 devices back up and running.I cannot re-add Alexa voice assistant because I now get an error: 414 Request-URI Too Large I then discover this correlates with the latest update rolled out on 06/02/2024.I now have two Sonos One SL speakers that are paperweights.It took me 2 hours on the phone with technical support to establish this fact, blaming everything from my router, my WIFi signal, my WiFi extender, my neighbours WiFi interference.I am now basically instructed to wait until the developers can workout a fix.Sonos.  What an earth are you doing ? 

We have a Sonos system with four One SL. We have been experiencing lots of trouble with our system. Today after rebooting,  he king for updates and several hours dedicated to this we finally have three of our speakers working. The last one has to be factory reset and added.  When we added it to the system the name “Looksey” we had given the speaker was found and the speaker added. Yet it has an error message that the product isn’t registered. The link to “fix it” does not respond in any way. 

Installed the latest update more nothing works. Wasted hours on this. Any ideas?

Hi community,I have a home speaker set up (Beam + Sub + 2 Ones), a stereo pair of Ones and two other Ones. Connectivity to all of them has been lost. I tried the recommended procedures on the app of turning all of them off/on, and rebooting the router (an Asus model). All speakers are (were) connected via wifi, i.e. none wired. Nothing in my configuration has changed. All other devices in my home are using the wifi and wider internet successfully, with no interruptions. All help gratefully received!

Play 3 speaker missing from my system after latest software update and it wont allow me to add it.Is this a ploy by by SONOS to get me to upgrade to a more recent speaker?

Hi, I got a Sonos ONE Gen 2 from my wife, and I’m trying to connect it. It’s my first Sonos speaker and I have tried the following.Downloaded the S1 app → The app told me, that my speaker has S2 softwareDownloaded the other Sonos App (On iPhone) → logged in to my account and tried to connect the device.It said something didn’t work → We’ll try something els.. I follow the instructions on the app, connected my phone to the temp wifi from the speaker, It played the pin sound, twice, was unable to connect.I tried hooking it to ethernet cable, same s***..I tried resetting the speaker, I tried resetting my app, I even tried resetting the Wifi. Nothing worked…I tried installing the Sonos App on my iPad since the troubleshooting said, try another mobile device..Same s*** again. Nothing worked… It just keeps saying “Getting the Sonos One ready” until, it says “There was a problem setting up Sonos One. Let's try something else.” And then it want’s me to connect to the speakers local wifi… And t
