Hi I’ve recently changed my WiFi and can’t connect my Play 5 to the new router (BT Smart Hub 2). I’ve done a factory reset, after which I get as far as entering the WiFi password, then it says connecting to the WiFi but after a few minutes it says your product has been connected but might not show in your system, in which case unplug the product, plug back in and complete the process on System Settings. When I try this it doesn’t find my Play 5 ?
Can Hoopla audiobooks be listened to on Sonos speakers? We have Play 1 speakers.
I have tried all there solutions to try to get the Android app to connect to Sonos Era 300. Nothing works. The suggestion to use a different phone or device is totally stupid. I want to use my phone to connect to the speaker. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have a Sonos Arc and 2 Sonos Ones as Surrounds connected to my living Room TV, I also have a Sonos Beam 2 connected to my bedroom TV, the app has removed all these speakers connected to TVs. They still work with the TVs they're connected to but I can't see them in the app anymore. I've tried to add them back but the app can't see them. How do I fix this?
I have an old Sonos play 5, not used for a couple of years. Lady time it worked with a 3.5mm cake plugged in. Now it asked to update the software, and I tried after a factory reset, with an Ethernet cable plugged in. Sonos mobile app can see the device and suggests I update it. I try to, but it says Error 1002. Light flashes green green when power restored. Help!
My partner and I just moved into a new house, and I have been trying to set up a new sonos system using our two old Play:1 speakers, but I cant seem to get them registered so we can use them. Ill try to explain what part of the setup that causes problems.I resetted both speakers by plugging them in while holding down the on/off and + buttons similtanously, and the indicatorlight changed color from white to orange to green as it should.Afterwards I logged on the app to set up the speakers. My phone can find both speakers and the serial numbers match the ones I find in the app. During the setup both speakers was updated. The speakers both connect to a temporary network, that I can also see on my phone and connect to.However, when the setup proces tells me to register the product there is a problem. First it tells me to place my phone near the speaker, so the microphone can record a soundsignal from the speakers, but no signal is playing. After that step fails twice, the app says somethin
So basically on the 10th June I was emailed to say they had received my speaker back and I would get a refund within 15 working days.I contacted Sonos just to double check and was told they couldn’t find my original payment of the order. I was asked to prove that I made the order, my bank statement, delivery notes and payment transactions ID from the bank. Basically they asked me for everything regarding my purchase with Sonos. They apologised saying due to system issues they couldn’t find the payment. Eventually they confirmed that I did actually pay for the item but due to further system issues they couldn’t refund to my debit card which was my original payment method. They said they could refund me via bank transfer but this comes from Luxembourg. I told them my bank, Chase UK, doesn’t accept international payments and they confirmed they understood this and ask for my bank details. I then find out they attempted to send it via international transfer. Now I have to wait for finance t
Hello- I got a new router and as a result have a new network name and password. I did a factory reset in my Sonos One SL and tried to reconfigure it to the new WiFi network. I was able to get through the setup process and was told it was “connected” but then the app showed “no devices available”.I then tried doing the setup via Ethernet and that was successful. I am currently listening to it. However, I want to get it on my WiFi network. In the iOS app, I went to Manage > Network > Manage Networks > Update Networks and got the following message: “No products found. Make sure you’re standing near the product and that your battery powered products are on and awake.”I am about 2 feet from the speaker.any advice would be appreciated!
I have rebooted the Play 1. The app goes through the process. Then it says that my player may not show in my settings. To unplug and plug the speaker back in. It says I should be able to finish the process then. I have done this but the app doesn’t prompt me to finish the process.
Whenever I play music on my speaker number 5 it crackles
Can I use Sonos speakers and LG speakers together in a group? If so, how do I create that group?
I bought Sonos era 100 Bluetooth speaker and had previously bought a karaoke mixer that came with two Bluetooth mikes. I now wanted to connect karaoke streaming services via MacBook to mixer and then to Sonos era 100 but the set up does not seem to work. I can connect my MacBook to karaoke mixer via Bluetooth and then the mixer via line in 3.5mm to Sonos but the audio is not working.
Hi hi,It looks like my Apple iPhone automatically updated the Sonos app, and I’ve been having lots of issues which has rendered my system useless. For context, I have a Roam, a Beam, and 5 Sonos Ones throughout my home. My home network/ISP have not changed in over 3 years, so I believe these issues I’m having are on the Sonos software side. For reference, every single one of the issues I am having are not present when using the 3rd party SonoPhone app. List of issues below, I’d love some help on how to fix some or any of them.Inaccessible services: Spotify can’t be accessed in the Sonos app, every time I select my Spotify library (songs, playlists, or artists) I get a “Something went wrong” error. This error is still present even after removing and re-adding the Spotify service to the Sonos app. The only way I can listen to my music is from the “recently played” tab. Volume changes: the music volume will randomly spike to max volume during playback, this happens very frequently. This i
My speakers worked fine until a few days ago. Now I am getting no sound at all. The app shows something is playing but nothing. I have switched streaming services but still no luck.
I have a Sonos 5S that will not power up. Its not the lead as I have used one from a working speaker. Is it fixable?
Hi, I bought a sonos arc about a month ago, got it hooked up to wifi and tv no problems, it's brilliant!, I bought a sub mini 3 days ago, and have spent 3 days trying to get it going. Tried everything suggested on sonos troubleshooting pages, and this forum. It needs to update to work, that's the message I can't get past, with error code 1000. 3 days I've been trying, I have done it all, just gets back to this point, and won't go any further. Wifi says it's there along with the arc, but there it sits on the floor useless with a solid white light waiting to be regestered, and updated, I just can't make it happen. So frustrating.
I'm seeking your assistance, PLEASE I purchased my Sonos One Release 2 Speaker approximately 5 years ago from Amazon, due to building a new house the speaker has been in storage for 2 years.I am now trying to get the speaker working (without the aid of instructions) and have got as far as having the green light flashing. I have downloaded the Sonos App onto my Apple phone (i didn’t have this when I first initiated the speaker years ago & not sure if it's required now?)When using the App (close to the speaker - with the home Ethernet connected) I'm following the instructions ...... Add speaker or component - preparing for update - Continue Update - Updating your product. This should take several minutes - This is as far as I get - after hours the download never gets more than 1/3rd completed ??????Are you please able to advise what I am doing wrong and forward the installation instructions for the Sonos One Gen 2 Many Thanks Kind Regards David Wyatt *Moderator Note: Removed phone
I have done a factory reset on a Play 1 and the app still does not recognise it. All 3 others, Playbar and Sub are recognised. The light does not go green. If remains flashing orange and white
Since moving to the new ios app, I can’t play music on various speakers. I can see the speaker in the app, but adding it to a group of already playing speakers doesn’t include it (volume meter isn’t working for that speaker). Nor am I able to just play music to it directly/individually. I’ve had the issue with both Amp and Move.
I’m getting frequent audio drop outs for 1-2 seconds it seems to be happening on all speakers. Just for a minute or so and then it will be fine for a while. Scenario is start playing an Apple Music playlist in Sonos app on iPhone. Started on Bedroom (Era 300) and Bathroom (Play:1) speakers group and then added in Kitchen (Era 100 stereo pair) and later Lounge (Era 300).Sound starts to drop out on bedroom and then from Kitchen and Lounge speaker While playing from Apple Music. You can hear it still going in the other rooms and then it kicks back in again. It's like the speaker are loosing their connection. We’re a tiny house so nothing is more than 4 meters from the Wifi base station.Anyone experiencing the same or got any tips to try and improve the experience?
I really am struggling to get this to work and have googled relentlessly to find some solutions, but without any working. I have taken the step to update to S2 app and will plan to get a couple of devices to replace my old Connects. In preparation for this I thought I would try and get my Play 1 updated on S2 before I progress with other steps. Glad I did as I am really struggling with completing the update. I have tried: Waiting out the update. This takes around 3 hours to get to 75% but then progresses no further Force quitting the app when I get the error (1014), waiting for the green light to return, changing the WIFI back to my home, retrying. Factory resetting the Play 1Neither of these is showing any progress. Plus support wait in Australia is 90 mins and the chat is not manned.Anyone got some things I can try?
Apologies in advance - moved back home and want re-use my Sonos 5 Unable to factory reset and set-upAny assistance is gratefulThanks in advance
For weeks now, my sonos works less than 50% of the time. I f***ing hate this system. I end up spending more time trying to make it work than I spend listening to music. I am throwing this garbage in the can it belongs in. It does not matter at all how good the speakers are if they keep cutting out. Reinstalling my amp and hardwired speakers tomorrow - they sound better anyway, and they never have and issues. Cant believe I fell for this BS tech garbage!Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
Hi guys. I have a sonos system in England. Consisting of sub. Play bar and two sonos play 1.... I have split the system and have taken the two play 1 to vietnam.. But I can't get them to work.... I can't seem to get into settings on my sonos app. When my phone is, searching it's not finding the play 1 am I doing something wrong.. Thanks
One of the best features about Sonos is the ability to connect and play multiple speakers at once. So what am I supposed to do if the speakers won't even connect to each other anymore?? If I try music through one speaker and connect, pressing pause and play on another speaker only transfers the music to the new speaker instead of playing from both. I've already reset the speakers, plug and unplug, and I'm out of options. This only started happening with the new update. I have an android, 3 Sonos symfonisks, and 1 sonos roam sl. Can anyone help? The sonos app only says unable to connect, try again later
