Speakers

Anyone know how to the app to default to a certain set a speaker/room when opened?  Mine reverts to the least used room in the house every time I open it. 

Trying to connect my Brothers two Play 3 speakers, go through the process and it says they are connected but when you reopen the app they are not there.i have taken the Play 3’s to my place and they work fine and are up to date.take them to his place, factory reset them and it goes through the process but they do not appear.i have scanned the network and they are connected to WiFi.so I suspect the router, he has an Archer 1600 which is a common router.it was all working fine on S2 appmy question is, are there any specific settings in the Archer router that need to be on or off to be able for it to work.this one has me stumped thanks in advance 

Ever since the App Downgrade last month my speakers are constantly going offline. My Beam + Sub appears in my list but will not connect with the others. It says “Unable to connect try again later” and later never seems to happen.

I’m so disappointed!!!!!!!!!it is very frustrating to have a great system and now this.  For all the reasons listed by EVERYONE !!! how can you not immediately not revert the app to the more stable version and apply a new fix?  Planned on expanding a large system and I am losing faith for sure.  I am considering going back to a Bose or wired system.

Waited another 10 minutes and plugged in all Sonia products. It fixed nothing. I’m trying to roll back to the old app (s1) and it looks like I have to down grade every speaker?  Which means factory resetting each one and setting up the entire system from scratch.  I’m more than frustrated that I spent so much money building my system and now it is unusable. I have no need for some of the newer features… I just want to open the app, choose music and choose rooms to play it in. 

Sonos finds all products on new router. When connect to new network is applied. It won’t find the products that have been previously found. Set the new router to 2.4 gig only and still won’t connect. Any possible solutions please

Bug report-Speakers drop intermittently - app version is current and all speakers restarted within the last week. Appears to be playing in the app but no sound. In-app volume sliders disappear for speakers randomly. Hi.I recently added apple music to my services but it will not play on my play 3 stereo pair.It works on my play 5 gen 2s.Is it due to Apple lossless.I know play 3s only play 16 bit but surely it can adjust track format.

In System the list shows a speaker I no longer own. How do I delete it?

Excited to be here.I recently had an issue which my sub (gen3) stopped working, even tho it was connected to Wifi (Checked the router’s clients)  and the light was solid white.I did few restart (took it off the power and back on), and I even tried to factory reset and re adding it to my system, after doing it the app said that it might not be seeing in the app but all I need to do is turn of and on the sub again and it will be shown in the system setting which didn’t help.Following this I decided to factory reset my Sonos beam and rebuilding the whole system, But the same thing happened, now I can’t even see the beam even tho I'm on the same wifi, and I can even connect to it to change the wifi. But generally looks like the app doesn’t recognize the Sonos beam also.Any suggestions what to do? My system is Sonos beam using ARC and the Sub

Hi,  I deactivated wifi on some of my devices in the past. Now I got the “great” new app. I try to reactive Wifi on the devices, because I restructure my hole home network.  I try to reactivate it on one ikea symfonisk and two One SL devices. The app says, wifi is active, but if i remove the ethernet cable, the three devices to not join the wifi. Even more, if i try to deactive the wifi in the app, I get the error message “Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten” “Bitte versuche es erneut” and retrying creates the same error message. Any ideas what I can try?

after update cannot find my products in the system

I have been using Sonos for several years. I have a play and a one SL. I just bought a Sonos Ray. I went to install it yesterday and the app prompted me to download an update. I did that and the Sonos is coming up in the Sonos app. But when I go through the steps to register it, it’s saying that it can’t register to my account I have, checked that it is on the same Wi-Fi account that my other devices are on and my other devices are still working. But I still can’t register the device. I gave it 24 hours and tried again and it won’t register. I have tried to call helpdesk, but it’s a 70 minute wait both times I’ve tried , does anyone know how to get it registered? I’ve rebooted and I’ve reset factory settings before and rebooted Wi-Fi. Also tried ethernet cable. Any help would be appreciated. 

I have never been able to successfully connect my Sonos to the app. I’ve reset it five different times it finds it on my phone via Bluetooth it connects to the Internet and then it’s never in my account. We were given this speaker a gift three years ago and I’m finally getting around to see if I can get it actually work. thanks any help would be appreciated. It’s a Sonos one Gen two speaker. 

Era 100 was working fine with my Wi Fi then I changed internet service to fiber optic. All other devices on my new network are working fine except era 100 was not recognized. I performed system reset, I got the speaker tone and the instruction said to press button when light was blinking blue - except I didn’t see any button to push and eventually it just timed out. Is there an earlier version of the speaker that that applied to? 

Hi All,I’ve been fighting with my sonos speakers for about 5years now. I never seem to lose hope and each year I think I figure it out, then a few weeks go by and im back to square one. This year I really thought I had it figured out by creating a dedicated network just for my speakers and then advertising a 2.4Ghz only wireless network for that network which again only my speakers connect to. That way there is no more sonosnet. There is no other interference on the network.  Everything worked great for 16days and then i wake up to: Here is what the speakers look like on my network when this happens(notice the “wifi” column - theyre all dropped off from a router standpoint...but in the app theyre in a state where they are connected to the wifi, but they arent responding? how?..):

Just purchased a Play 5 and Era 300.Era 300 added and updated flewlesly witin minutes.The app sees the Play 5. And wants to update, but I am unable to.
