I have an Era 1 speaker on one system and an older Play 1 speaker already on a separate system ( my fault). How do I change it to 1 system with 2 speakers???

You would want to factory reset the system you don’t want to keep, then add it to the system you do want to keep.
Note, you’ll lose all Sonos playlists and streaming setups on the factory reset system, but when you add them to the other system, they’ll ‘inherit’ all of that, so in the end, you may not lose anything at all.
