Hi,We have a Beam G2 w/Symfonisks as rear surrounds. We were using them in our bedroom but moved them into our family room for the time being.We used to have another system in the family room. The soundbar was likely not fully reset and I couldn’t figure out how to remove it from my system so eventually I chose the “hide” option that came up just to get rid of it. The rear surrounds that were in there were correctly reset and removed from the app but a month or so later, they just showed up again.I’ve tried probably 20 times to change the name of our current system from Bedroom to Family Room. Every time I save it, it appears to work, and then a bit later, it’s showing up as bedroom again. The system was already TruePlay tuned again for the current space but I need to change the room it’s located in.Is there still a phantom system somewhere in the app? Do I need to entirely reset and remove everything? Do I need to delete my account and start over? Or is there a less drastic way to get
Hello there,My parents gave me their Sonos Play:1, I am currently struggling to connect them on my phone as I have the following error : “Your mobile device couldn’t connect to your Play:1..”, My phone is right to the side of the Sonos and is Sonos is powered on. I try resetting the Sonos and reinstalling the app still not working.Any suggestions ?Thanks,Alex
Complete audio system stoped again unexpectedly again today. Of course it’s a Sonos update. it’s 2023 shouldn’t the software updates simply limit new functionality until updated not break the whole system, it’s a little ridiculous. I used to be proud of my Sonos system, the sound quality and speaker arrangement but these days it’s more of just a hassle - a very expensive hassle. Probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal if the software updates were smooth and it just updated like normal software - but instead of I get the same message, “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again late.” Wow thanks. So not only does the software not work, the whole system is useless until the software does work and/or I go out of my way to trouble shoot some damn new feature that I probably don’t want. Frustrating. 1/5 do not recommend. </frustrated rant>
I rebooted my router as part of routine system maintenance now internet and PC work but lost sonos speakers connection. It was working fine earlier. Help please!
Any tips on tuning this system? Not thrilled with the sound quality. To tinny and no real base to speak of.

Hello everybody,i have a question regarding the new Era100 Input System.So far i‘m using the Ikea Symphonik Speakers as Satellite Speakers with my Arc. Works well for me.But, as my Play5 is in the kitchen, i was always searching for an easy way to connect my turntable in the living room. My question is: Can i connect my turntable to one Era 100, when they are used as satellite speakers with my Arc? Couldn‘t find that info in web.Thanks a lot.Have a great weekend.
Hello !I decided to improve the performance of my home wifi connection by using Google Nest Wifi.As a result, I no longer connect to the wifi of my internet provider's router, but to the wifi network of the Google nest box.Since I did this, the speed at home is much better, but I can't play music from the Sonos application.If I reconnect to my original wifi (my provider's box) and reset the Sonos conf, it works.If I reconnect to my Google wifi and I reset my Sonos system, it doesn't work anymore, on any Sonos service, I use Youtube Music, and it gives me an error 701.Do you know what I can do?I am using the default settings of Google Nest Wifi, I have not customized anything!
I have two Sonos Five speakers set up as my Living Room. When watching movies (set up: MacBook Air connected to my TV via a HDMI cable / output selected as ‘Living Room’), I experience a delay in the audio, the audio being behind the video. I have been told by Sonos that there is nothing I can do about this unless I buy a soundbar and stream the audio through that, using my Sonos Fives as surround sound, but I find it hard to believe that there is no work around here.Strangely, if I watch Youtube videos with the same set up described above, there is no delay. When using VLC or Quicktime however, there is. Does anyone have a hack that can be used here?
I just got my new Era 100 and wanted to add it to an existing room (Living Room). By mistake I added it to another room (Den) and now I cannot change it to Living Room. I am also not able to remove the speaker. Can you please guide me on how to change it to the correct room?
I would be interested to know once you got era300 setup as surrounds, what does the music sound like when you set your system to “full” when on playback. Do you still spatial audio from Apple Music?
I have recently purchased a used SUB Gen 1 to use with my existing Sonos system. I am on the S1 controller because we have some early components that are only compatible with the S1 App. When I try to add the SUB to the system the S1 app states it can't be added because it is only compatible with the S2 App. I have tried a factory reset but this hasn’t solved the problem Can anyone offer a solution?

Hallo everyone.I’ve purchased Sonos One (gen 2) to be main speaker as I was using speaker in my Mac Mini M2 - so now sound sounds bit better.But now I have few problems with it.Audio delay on Mac Mini - I know about 2 seconds AirPlay delay BUT will it work bit better on LAN cable? How to do this? Connect it to my router which was connected via WiFi and……. how to FORCE Sonos to use it not WiFi? I want to have WiFi disabled in iPhone - in Sonos and in Mac Mini as I do not use them. Sonos One goes on silent in Mac Mini M2 (latest macOS) after some time of silence and I have to change “Output” in macOS Settings (to TV and then back to Sonos) just to sound work again which DRIVES ME MAD - I hope this is not some kind of energy saving as this speaker does not have batteries to save them and it is hard wired. I unable to add Google Assistant - all I see is just Sonos Assistant. I have Google Assistant app installed on my iPhone and in this app I was able to see and add Sonos speaker - log in
I would lovee to be able to test only the up firing atmos speakers on my arc and new era 300s, and even better toggle between each speaker to test alignment. I’m not aware of any way to do this, but curious if anybody might know? Or is this something sonos would need to develop for it to work? Curious if I could somehow mix a track that would only play through the atmos oriented portion of the speakers, even if just like rain or test sounds.
I am not able to connect my era 300 with my tv. I have a line in adapter from amazon i am using aux 3.5mm to connect it with era 300. I have harman kardon onyx studio 7 and jbl boombox 2 they are working good with my tv. Era 300 is compatible with dolby atmos and spatial audio. I thought i can use it as a home theatre. But i am not able to use it
My Sonos One is sat there making a frigging annoying ding dong noise. I’ve taken a video but this support site won’t allow videos and you click the chat link on the support page and that doesn’t work either.Please help it was a present from my girlfriend and she’ll be upset when I put an axe through this thing.
Hi, I have a couple of Play 1 speakers and a Connect. The connect only works on the S1 version of the app so stuck with that for now. I'd like to add an Era300 to my setup but it says its not compatible with the S1 app. Am I screwed or is there a way to retain the connect, add the era and still get them playing together nicely?
So I have two era 300s and noticed that when I pair them each together as a stereo pair the right and left tweeters no longer emit much sound. Whereas when I play music with each separately, I could absolutely hear more sound coming from those tweeters. Do they get turned off after being joined as a stereo pair? I’ve tried both Dolby Atmos music and stereo music via the Amazon music service in the Sonos app. The woofers and the front tweeter and the top tweeters all sound the same but the side tweeters sound relatively inactive…
Sorry but the SONOS badge on the 300….cringe. Maybe if you could have the speaker vertical it would be ok. Seems this one the badge is disproportionate….guess I’m used to looking at my fives….whatya think? Meh, I will get over it.
Hallo everyone, After DEEP searching internet I did not find any usable information with same problem as mine. So I live in UK so Google Assistant is supported. I have Sonos One Gen 2. EVERYTHING updated to latest possible date. I’ve managed to add Sonos Speaker in Google Assistant app on iPhone - and I even been asked for Sonos login and password. Sadly Sonos Tutorial does not work or even is messed up and confusing. Sonos failed at first point 1. From the Settings tab, tap Services & Voice > Add a Service under Voice. Choose Google Assistant and tap Add to Sonos.-------→ there is no such an option there - “Add Service” is ONLY under Music & Content and there is no such a thing as Google Assistant there - just Music stations - just under “Voice assistant” there is “Add a Voice assistant” and I have just Sonos Assistant only there.

Hi Folks, could someone kindly assist please? First and foremost I’m not a ‘guru’ with Sonos although I know my way reasonably around the appi have purchased a pair of Era300’s to replace my now aging pair of play 1s as rears. Regarding the swop over will there be a software upgrade on release date? What I really need please is a STEP BY STEP procedure and in LAYMANS TERMS how to remove the play 1s and add the Era300’s. What may seem second nature to yourselves may not appear that way to myself 😢 and I don’t want to screw it up. I am fully aware of what to do once they are installed 🙂Thank you very muchMartin
After experiencing this problem for months, I just switched from a Bridge to Boost device (w/ downgraded G1 software install with Sonos staff assistance). However, the cutout still occurred periodically, although a 3-16-23 Sonos diagnostic report showed no interference or other errors (1698750761). Based on other Community discussion, interference or slow wireless speeds would seem likely as a cause (also, perhaps consistent with this, the cutout seems to occur more frequently on Spotify premium and CD direct line than Pandora, which has significantly lower streaming quality).Summary of network settings: Sonos devices on Channel 11. Router setup is Verizon Gateway 3100 (set to Channel 6, 20Mhz; 300Mbps max service), with Boost wired connection via coax (MoCa), located on separate floor and same room as Play5 stereo pair.
