Hi! I teach yoga and we play music via Spotify during some classes over two Sonos 5 speakers. The music sounds great, but it’s a big room with a lot of hard surfaces and even though I try to project, speak slowly and articulate my words, I believe students sometimes have trouble hearing me. I am wondering if there might be a way to mic 🎤 my voice? I’ve read some of the threads and understand there are some issues with a delay. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you! 

Due to the disaster with the new app, I started looking into the recent Sonos developments. I was totally surprised to find out that there is a web interface that can control my boxes at home! Only protected with username password, no two factor auth. In the context of the software development skills that Sonos so publicly displayed, I lost all confidence, that Sonos can do proper web service development or even proper secure development. So in my eyes, the web service that exposes my boxes to the internet is to be considered totally insecure. It represents an unacceptable risk to my personal local network and data.With that I revoked internet access for my Sonos boxes and only use Airplay2. Now I want to sell my Sonos setup as long as the prices for used boxes are still ok but I do not know if I should update the boxes before I do.I was wondering if anyone has found any indication what firmware changes have been done after 78.1-52020 (my current firmware version). I run a,system of 3 x play 1 with sonos s2 app. All are connected to the same WiFi. All is good until one or two units stop working - the third is still on pumping music. On the app it shows that they are connected but no music comes out. Then they either start working alone, or I have to temper with the app hoping that something will do it. The thing is that it is not always the same. 

So with the new app when I want to combine several rooms of speakers I go to where it shows them and I pick the ones I want showing yellow dots. I hit apply and it states cannot connect. Try again later.  I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled and still nothing. Any ideas?

Hello, I am writing from Korea to inquire about the current situation.I purchased the IKEA SYMFONISK series but am unable to connect it using any method. I have tried using the audio PIN, the PIN on the back, and even connecting via an Ethernet cable, but nothing works.Suspecting an issue with the speakers themselves, I attempted to connect three different SYMFONISK speakers, but none worked. I also considered that the issue might be with the switches, so I tried two different Korean switches(iptime, netis), but they too failed to connect.Thinking it might be an issue with my mobile devices, I tried connecting with two Android phones, two iPhones, and an iPad, but none were successful.It seems to be an app issue; the older version of the app doesn’t even allow connection without an update. I’ve heard news about a new app update, but it seems the problem occurred after updating the app. Are there others experiencing similar issues with various devices not

The volume of my era 300 goes down at 15% immediately , the level control is disabled 

With each new update, we lose previous music options and continue to get funneled towards more subscription based services. We invested heavily in Sonos products- have them in every room.  Now our local radio options disappeared. We can only access them through I <3 Radio and TuneIn, which offers a "90 day free trial". None of these services we are now allowed to play actually broadcast article, track or album info.  This follows the loss of being able to play local files from my phone.  I feel like Sonos has done a huge bait and switch. I regret purchasing the system.  It's great if you want to use it to stream Low res audio. Beyond that, just prepare to hook them up to your credit card and you're set.  I'm super irritated. This seems borderline illegal. 

I am genuinely wondering whether I should just return the Era 100 I bought recently. 1. Have to use the PIN to connect, just refuses to be found on the system.2. Will not connect Alexa Amazon voice service.3. Which I need because the Sonos voice service is dreadful, literally tells me it can't find BBC stations.4. Can't clear the queue, so basically I have to reset after playing ANYTHING/EVERYTHING.5. Customer service is a joke.Any thoughts? Unlucky and it's a faulty unit or is it really as terrible as this? Never had any of these problems with the Sonos One or the previous apps.

At work we use Sonos to play music around the shop. Since upgrading the app I cannot group the speakers. Each speaker can play the same radio station, but there are 6 different streams and different commercial breaks. How do i get the same thing to play in sync now?Also, if i try to update i get told to sign in, but i am already signed in. 

I’ve recently been gifted a Sonos Play 1 and it’s possibly the worst thing I’ve had. First I couldn’t connect to the WiFi but now that’s the least of my issues as I can no longer do anything. I’m constantly told I need to sign in as the systemowner. I have done. I’ve reset, restarted, deleted and reinstalled and still get this message. It’s not linked to the old owner. When I sign in onto Sonos online I can see that it’s been set up since middle of April when I received it but it won’t allow me to remove it or do anything. I know it’s a lot of waffle but I’m losing my mind with it. 

I set up sonos Arc and Sub + one*2 last year.I tried reconnect Sonos One last week, then the App said I need to update. But it fails many times and I reset Arc and Sub.The Arc works. It keeps failing again when I tried to connect Sub.I tried reset the Sub, rebooting my router and connect the ethernet cable but the result is same.Does anyone know how to solve this?error code 30 and 1000 

My turntable and Era 100 are Bluetooth paired with no playback issues. When I group my other speakers, the sound cuts in and out every few minutes. The Era 100 however is unaffected. The never happens when I stream music over WIFI, and the speakers are all with a close proximity of each other.Is there a way to resolve this at all?

Sonos connects with Spotify and Apple Music on my iPad, but not on my iPhone and it does not connect with Podcasts or other audio on either my iPhone or iPad. How do I connect them?

For the past several months I have been having problems with the old sonos app. My speakers and connects either dissappear from the list of speakers or they are on the list and don't respond or work at all. The wait time for help is always over an hour.

TV doesn’t play era 300 but plays soundbar and two 100s. What am I doing wrong?

Like the title says… When I am using just one of my sonos speakers everything works great and is snappy. When I group my speakers there’s a very long delay when playing a song, skipping a song, or turning up the volume. Everything is still synced, so I’m not having issues like I’ve seen other people have with delay issues. Everything just takes 5 to 10 or more seconds to respond. I have a sonos move and a sonos play 1. This all started when I added the older play 1 to the system. Individually they both work great. My internet is 1 gig and I have a nice modem and mesh network in my home. I restarted my modem and mesh network this morning, before that gets recommended haha. Also, I’m using Tidal. Thanks for any help.

I have an ARC and surrounds for my TV.  I also have two Sonos Five speakers (stereo pair) for music playback in the same room placed under the ARC.  Listening to music on the Fives sounds much better vs. the ARC, but without subwoofer it sucks.  How can I link the subwoofers to the Fives and ARC at the same time?  obviously, I couldn't play from both at the same time, but there should be an option to at least pair them together. the subs would just connect to the speakers being used.  having to buy more subs to connect to a different set a speakers in the same room is out of the questions.

How many subs can I hook up to my speakers of 14

I assume the ability to access a NAS (where all my music is stored) has been removed. Is this going to be fixed in a future update? Just been away on holiday and now I can’t group any of my speakers. They can all be accessed directly but not grouped. My system comprises 2 x play 1, play 3, Move and Roam that, until the recent App updates have worked seamlessly. Please fix this Sonos team!

Audio flutters on one of my Sonos Ones. 2 others in the same room are fine , so WiFi or interference is unlikely to be the issue . Is there some sort of update or reset option recommended??

Hello, looking for some help guidance insight, a miracle! I have a set of IKEA speakers I bought three years ago have worked very well until this year.I have a vacation house in Italy. I’ve tried to connect them to the TP link Internet in the house. I’ve had 000 luck.I will connect them to the Howes system go through the process and then it says on the app I’m not connectedNone of the speakers show upI factory reset all the speakers there’s eight reconnected everything now three timesI read on Reddit to eliminate the firewall on Link, which I did made no differenceI tried to reconnect for the fourth time no luck now I wired directly into ethernet and it still won’t find the speaker!!!I’ve walked away several times as I was on the brink of taking a hammer to everything!!! Hi - anyone have any ideas? My speaker has randomly just stopped working like it’s died. Won’t turn on pretty much or recognise me pressing the button, started by making a weird buzzing noise. Now if I plug it in and turn it on there’s ever so slight feedback but that’s it? Won’t find my phone or anything.. but happened out of nowhere? Very odd. 

I moved my play 5 from one part of the room to another and since then it has sounded terrible

 Hello Sonos community.  I have been having serious issues and difficulties with my Sonos for a long time, and I am desperately hopeful that I can find some solutions here.  I will provide as much detail as possible.  My setup: Two (2) Play 3s, one (1) Roam, and one (1) Connect Amp, which is hard wired to speakers and a record player.  I have had the Play 3s and the Connect Amp for about ten years.  I use the S2 app on my Samsung phone.  We mostly listen to Spotify, but I also have a music library on my computer's hard drive.  We listen to vinyl records as well. Over a year ago, I started having playback issues, where the music would cut in and out, sometimes in one room but not the others, an sometimes all of the rooms at the same time.  It got so bad that we could not listen comfortably at all.  In addition, the responsiveness on the app was generally very slow.  While music is playing, I open the app to adjust the volume or pause, and the song title showing i
