How come we can no longer control volume for separate speakers once they are grouped? It has disappeared…a new or returning glitch with the latest app?
From the Home Screen click the volume slider for the Group (see 1st pic). Select the Group or Individual volume adjustments (see 2nd Pic).
That is the problem…I no longer have the sliders for the individual speakers…they play but no volume shows or adjustments
OK…I see…make sure the Move and Roam are connected to WiFi. I assume they are.
Try this as well…Delete the Sonos app and reinstall it. Also make sure your SE has the latest iOS.
They…they are playing but as you see no volume control or information through the “crappy” app! New problem as of yesterday…tried Sonos support did diagnostic and they were useless! Usual Sonos app frustration!!!

Make sure all your devices are running the exact same firmware version. The new app is super fussy about this when dealing with Groups.
Will remove the 2 devices giving the issues and factory reset (probably the 4th time I have done this since new app launch). A pathetic customer support team at Sonos! May need to go back to S1 if this continues, thanks for assistance.
Did factory reset on the roam and move…problem resolved for now! However they don’t show any version number (as before) but they show the correct build as all other speakers on version 16.3. 2 hours of messing around and zero useful assistance from Sonos support! The company is a dumpster fire!!! See how long until the NEXT issue. What a joke. But hey, the over paid and useless CEO says he is sorry and understands our frustration….🤮🤮🤮
Had a friend over asking about the Sonos system and for the first time in 10 years I advised against buying it. Explained their propensity to break their software and how it is no longer a reliable system. I used to promote the product but honestly I won’t lose friends by recommending an expensive product that doesn’t work and has terrible customer support.
