Has Google Assistant been added ? Otherwise I need to return this soundbar.In fact I might just decide to switch to a different ecosystem. 

Hello,I have a TV model LG-55LA620V, Google TV Streamer and Sonos Arc Soundbar with 2x Sonos Play:1(surround) added. The problem is that I can't get Dolby Atmos sound to work, only dolby digital 5.1. The cables are HDMI 2.1 and connected as follows: - Google TV streamer -> Tv HDMI 3 (MHL) - TV HDMI 1 (ARC) - Sonos Arc soundbar. What should I do to get Dolby Atmos sound?

Hello all! I thought I was fairly tech savvy after working in the tech industry for 22 years. However, I’m having one heck of a time getting my Sonos arc SL and two era 100 surround speakers to speak together to create a home theater environment.  I have the Eras paired as a stereo pair in a system called ‘Living Room’my Arc SL is in a different Living Room system that is Living Room Arc SL error message:Two compatible Sonos speakers are required to add surrounds. Make sure your products are powered on and joined to the wireless network (which they are)

I like that the dialog is very easy to hear without having to turn on any dialog adjustments. The problem is I barely hear the left and right channel audio. Background music is barely audible. I’ve tried it with both Trueplay turned on and off and there isn’t much improvement. I know the left/right channels are working because I hear music. Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone notice difference from 10/8/25 update for Arc Ultra, Era 300s, and Sub 4?Only asking since the patch notes are incredibly cryptic in what changed or attempted to improve. Very disappointing Sonos chooses the mystery approach.

I’m looking for advice on where to put two Era 100s for a surround setup. You can see in the image below we have a strange, bi-level house. The TV, beam (gen 2), and the sub-mini are on the right side of the image below. The common TV viewing points are the sectional and the kitchen table and this setup would be used for movies, TV shows, sports, and music. There’s a railing right behind the sectional where the stairs are and the back wall is about 6.5 feet behind the couch. I’m considering either mounting the era 100s to the railing posts (this wouldn’t look very clean), adding a skinny table behind the sectional for the era 100s, or running some outlets up the back wall and mounting the era 100s to the wall (this feels like the rear speakers would be too far away and might lose sound to the basement). Does anyone have any better ideas or any thoughts on the existing ideas? Any advice would be much appreciated. 

Arc Ultra and Era 100’s  Anyone else have this setup and noticing that the Era 100’s as rears are doing less work with the Arc Ultra when compared to the standard Arc? I’m barely noticing any audio coming from the rears even with the surround volume turned up to maximum.  I swapped my original Arc back with the Era 100 surrounds and tested the same Atmos movies on the Arc and the Arc Ultra, and there is a significant difference/reduction in the signals being sent to the Era 100’s in the rear channels with the Arc Ultra.  Increasing the “TV Level” setting for Surround Audio in the Sonos app increases the front surround volume coming from the Arc Ultra but the signals coming out of the ERA 100 rears are almost non existent.  Is this behavior the result of how the Arc Ultra processes surround channels, and should be considered normal operation?

I am building a new space.  I plan on having an Arc Ultra under the TV and a pair of 8” in ceiling speakers slightly behind the viewing couch. I also plan on dual sub 4s.  Is it better to have them up front on either side of the TV, or on either side of the couch, or behind the couch on either side?  As I need to plan outlet placement and some other features in advance, I can’t test this out after the room is built.

Is anyone else experiencing a crackling noise with their Arc Ultra? I upgraded from the Arc to the Arc Ultra, which is connected to a pair of Era 300s and two subs. The crackling sound has been intermittent, mainly occurring when streaming movies.

Hi allI was wondering if someone can help. I'm considering buying the official sonos stand for my Era 300 and need to know the distance from the back of the Era 300 to the back of the stand base. The reason why is because I have my sonos stands against the back wall and want to know the distance of the back of the era 300 ro the wall. Thanks so much for your help

One-week-old Sonos Arc Ultra makes a noticeable popping sound when navigating in/out of content. It’s not the loud pop reported earlier this year, but still audible and annoying. Factory reset twice with no change. Happens with all content types (stereo, 5.1, Atmos, YouTube, Netflix, etc.). Setup: Apple TV 4K, LG C1, bitstream input, passthrough output, eARC, Sonos HDMI cable. Hi, I lost sound the other night from my beam. I turned the TV on and off and it came back for 5 mins but has now stopped again. I have checked all settings, factory reset the TV and beam. Changed the HDMI cable. The TV is seeing the beam as I have the icons when I turn it up and down there is just no sound coming out. The TV works through internal speakers and the beam works if I stream to it. It is also seeing the TV as in the volume it says HDMI TV. I have turned everything on and off and now I am just at a loss. Could the TV just not be putting out sound? 

I have a “problem “ with my Sonos arc ultra : every time when i turn off my tv I still hear on the soundbar the sound of another tv channel for  30 seconds, every time its the sound of same tv channel , I don’t understand what is the problem, where I’m wrong, can someone tell me what to do? Regardless of which TV channel I watched, after turning off the TV, the sound of the same channel can still be heard 30 seconds from my Sonos arc ultra sound bar , after 30 seconds sound it’s gone and silence. 

Hi all. I have just got my new 4k player, having looked at the back of it, it has holes for putting the audio straight into the back of it, is it better to connect my sonos setup directly to this or not? It is currently setup via the tv so would it make any difference changing it to the 4k player? Thanks for any advice all much appreciated 😊👍

Hello. A few months ago I bought a Sonos Arc Ultra, 2 Era 300s and two Sub 4s. It's working on an 85" TCL TV connected to an Apple TV 4K. The audio quality is spectacular. However, I'm having two problems:When I leave the system off for 10 minutes, when I turn it back on, the sound takes about 5 seconds to be heard. It's as if the amplifiers are turned off and only turn on after receiving a signal via HDMI.The other problem is the lack of volume under certain conditions. I've done extensive research online, and absolutely everything in the TV and Apple TV setup is in line with what's needed to get the best results. I've also tried TruePlay in various ways. Few content can be heard satisfactorily in terms of volume without using at least 70%.For comparison, I also have a Bose 600 + 5" subwoofer, and the volume of both systems is very similar, perhaps a little louder with the Bose.I've tried using the Apple TV output only, but the volume results are the same. I’m new to the Sonos family and was so excited to set up my Sonos Arc Ultra after hearing it in store. I have wall mounted my product, connected it to my network via an ethernet connection and it’s connected to a new LG OLED C5 TV using the HDMI eARC option.Sound from the TV is amazing. I rarely move above level 35 because it’s loud. If I play music via my TV using the Spotify app or Apple Music app the sound is also amazing. Level 50 is loud and level 70 would generate a noise complaint from my neighbours.If however I use the Sonos app or connect directly from my phone via bluetooth the sound is muffled and faint. At 70 the speaker from my iPhone would be louder and at 100 the sound you iis so soft you can talk comfortably. Sound is so underwhelming it seems like something is wrong. I want to be able to play music directly from my phone. Why would music from my phone be so quiet? I have had two friends connect via both wifi, the app and bluetooth and they experience the same issue. On

No audio from tv amp to arcI have a sonos amp to tv with in ceiling speakers. All worked fine for a couple of weeks, now no audio from tv but all fine streaming music just no tv audio. I see the sonos amp hdmi connection I even see the equalizer bars moving in the icon on the tv screen however there is no audio .i looked expensively online rebooted both Samsung tv and sonos amp without success. Any ideas?

I’ve had this problem for a couple months now and been in contact with Sony about it.Every time I turn on my TV I get a message in the bottom of the screen saying “TV speakers active due to a audio system communication error”. It started appearing after updating both my TV and Sonos Arc so it’s hard to say which is causing the issue.Sound is still coming from the Arc but sometimes I have to manually change audio source from “TV speakers” to “Audio system” but it’s rare.Do anyone else have this problem?

Hello 👋🏼… I have a problem here that I can’t solve .. as I connect my era 100 as surround to my arc ultra … as the app tell me to choose witch one makes the sound to select it as right or left surround … after completing and successfully saves the surrounds .. the don’t play … instead they are at the system as arc ultra not registered x 2 I deleted the app and reinstall it .. I did factory reset the eras over 5 times.. I reset the network .. I did everything .. and nothing works .. when I reset to factory and put them again to my system they work as standalone or as a pair just fine … but not as surround set for the arc ultra ..: need help here plz !!!      

Hi, I recently added a switch 2 to my set up. When I did this I changed the order of my HDMI ports. Obviously, I kept my beam 2 in the earc port of my LG TV.  Since I made this change, the audio will cutout for less than a second every few minutes. It happens on multiple HDMI ports. I originally thought this was a switch 2 problem, but today I noticed it while watching my apple tv. I have a beam 2, mini sub, and to One SL speakers as surrounds. Any ideas on what’s going on here? I‘ve tried turning off and on again.  Thanks for any help!
