I bought a pair of Era 100s for better stereo separation when listening to my Victrola stream in my LR I called the pair Den, and they are physically in LR with the stream. I get better separation than my Beams and their subs G1 and sub-mini (BR) or G2 and sub-G3 (LR). Also, the bass is pretty good, and I can tweak it in the app to almost match a set of speakers from back in the day; so, I don’t see the need to add a 3rd sub to my system just for the 100s I can simply move LR sub-G3 to den and back as desired.The setup was easy. However, remember to add each speaker to your system one at a time, place them, and connect them to power, and add them as you go. This helps the app, and you keep things straight as you go. I had Den and Den2 as Era 100 speakers at this point; with a sticky note with the name of each speaker. The last thing I set up was the Era 100s stereo pair; I sat in my listening position and picked the Era 100 to the left of my position (Den) as left and the app saw den2

Hi, I have been having trouble with my Sonos beam gen 2 connecting to WiFi. Every time I try to set it up in the app I can’t make it passed the WiFi setup section. I know I’m entering the right password but it always ends up with an error message after waiting for it to connect for a couple minutes. Thank you in advance for any help.

My new move 2 is showing in my system with my other Sonos speakers but when you want it to play it says “can’t connect please try later” 70 minute wait on phone to speak to someone 

Hi All I am currently wanting to upgrade my Sonos One’s to Era 100’s, I have them attached to non height adjustable Sonos stands. The stands for Sonos One and Era 100 seems to be identical except the base for the speaker. Does anything exist allowing me to adapt these stands for the 100’s other than having to buy new speaker stands? Thanks

First of all, thank you for reading this post. I bought my first Sonos device 12 years ago. Always liked it (except for the transformation from gen1 - gen2 because it's not completely compatible).My question. I just returned from my holiday. I always power off all electronics if I leave the house for a few weeks. When i came back I wanted to start up my Playbar again. Unfortunalely it won't power on anymore. No white led light, not to find in the app. Nothing works. Tried to reset, power off and on, tried another power cable, another power socket.. called Sonos. They couldn't do much for me either...So I already ordered the Sonos Beam Gen 2 to replace the playbar BUT I want the playbar to work again. Sonos doesn't have repair service and when I searched the internet i saw it was a rather common problem with the playbar.Is there someone around here who can provide me some tips or a good repair manuel to repair it myself? Thanks in advance and I hope to hear from you.   

I have recently bought a second hand play 3 from eBay but I am unable to connect it to my system although after a reset the light flashed red then went green does any one have any suggestions thank you

Three weeks ago I purchased SYMFONISK (Ikea)  speaker. Installed Sonos app, could connect also my Spotify account. As many know, the Sonis app is now dead/not showing any content - incl no Spotify. when I start Spotify on my iPhone, it does not “see” SYMFONISK anymore. However - when I play music on Spotify, switch of from iPhone (black screen), and then get my iPhone, I can see on the welcome screen Spotify still playing.I I then click on the “speaker icon” (red arrow points to it). This opens the following screen which allows me to select my SYMFONISK in my living room (now known as Unnamed Room). I can now stream music 😊   

I have had my two Sonos speakers for 3 or 4 months and the degree of dysfunction with constantly needing to reset is spectacular. The app is totally unreliable and unpredictable. Worked last night, this morning the system has vanished.  anyone have experience returning these speakers and what products do you recommend to replace?

Since the change in the app I can’t group rooms with my two Sonos One. Pops out a message that say “imposible to connect. Try again later”

I got a pretty good deal on some play 1’s. I am wondering if anyone has used these in a covered lanai.  It is a permanent roof built as part of the house. There’s no chance of getting wet. However the humidity in south Florida is fairly high. I currently use a connect amp and outdoor speakers. But I think the play 1’s have better sound.  I’m looking for anyone that has done that in this humidity and the success of it.  

Hi there,I am suddenly unable to group speakers. Individually they all work fine, but unable to group speakers with the most recent app. Also, “manually grouping” by holding the play button for 3 sec, doesn’t seem to work anymore. How can I make this work again ? Any help is appreciated.

Headed on vacation. Wondering if I can lug along my two Play 1’s, connect my computer without using a vacation router of any ilk? Thanks for your help.

Beam gen1 Not add in sonos 

Hi everyone.We are doing some work at home and sometimes there is dust. To protect the two Fives I cover them with plastic bags. When the work is finished in the evening I remove the bags and relax with some good music…I noticed that the Fives, turned off and connected to the electrical outlet, develop a little heat. Could the bag be a problem? As I said, during the listening the bags are removed.Thanx.

I am starting hate Sonos.  my sonos sub mini appears in the app. But always says not connected. And all steps given such as turn on n off , refresh wifi all this just dont seem to work. Even the chat with sonos staff is of no use. It still does not work. Is anyone having or experiencesd same issue. I intend to take sonos to court as this absoutely not close what was expected from best. Its very frustrating experienxe pls help 

9 years or more have passed since this functionality was requested for the first time. I found many threads that treat this issue. Is it possible that Sonos has not yet found a way to manage it?I cannot buy further devices if this issue is not resolved ...and please do not replay “by design”… thanksbye

Hi , i have lot of cds in my library and I want to play them in my stereo Sonos era 100 system I’ve seen a usbc-rca cable in the Sonos website but seems like this will produce analog signal rather than cd digital audio quality .  how and what do you suggest to buy in orther to play music in high quality from cd to Sonos era 100 system ? thanks a lot

I just added a new Symfonisk lamp to my Sonos Network but it refuses to play Apple music. When I try to play anything from Apple Music I get the error “connection to apple music was lost”. It tries the next few songs in the playlist and then stops trying to play the playlist. Everything else plays fine on the Symfonisk speaker, Tune-in radio, Spotify and  Sonos radio.It is connect to my Ubiquiti Access Points and has 100% signal strength. I have also tried removing the Apple Music account from Sonos and re-adding it, but that did nothing.I can play Apple Music ok on my Sonos Ports, it has occasionally done this in the past with Apple Music on my other devices but I have managed to get it to work.Any ideas, I can try cabling it in as a test, but I bought a WIFI product and expect it to work. 

If there’s a Beam , Sub, and A pair of One SLs set up with a tv , can the Ones be removed and then set up as a different room to play the tv sound but not as surrounds? A new cigar shop has these speakers set up and the owner would like to have the Ones play the tv sound but not as surrounds. The Ones are by a different tv then the Beam. Hope this makes sense. 

I used to be able to connect to one of my Sonos Bluetooth speakers and then link the rest of them inc non Bluetooth like Sonos 5 through the app to have the full surround experience.Helpful for smaller more niche apps or Bluetooth products like my record player. With the new app update this no longer seems to work.help!

HiWe have installed Nokia Beacon 1 units for our wifi mesh network, and now I cannot configure my Play 1 units.I have tried both with and without cabled network. I managed once to get one unit online with cable, but after I tried to use it on wifi, I have not been able to get it online again.Anyone with experience with Nokia Beacons?

I bought a home where previous owner had sonus system.  He took everything but ceiling speakers that aren’t sonus.  He said they connected to sonus but the app can’t see them.  How do i connect?
