I have a Play 5 Gen 1 speaker for my garden. I have to play it through the S1 App on my Android phone on a separate network.
I also have a Play 1 and Arc using my S2 App on an iPad.
The Play 5 worked well for most of 2024, but started suggesting I update before Christmas. I have set it to not receive updates as instructed by Sonos.
It will now not let me connect to my music services unless I update.
Why am I receiving suggestions to update?
Has it suddenly become compatible with S2.
How do Zi break out of this mess - other than the obvious.
