Sonos Move disconnects from Macbook pro in literal minutes of non use

Hi,

I have a sonos move in my office and when I connect it to my MacBook pro it plays beautifully. The problem is if I have to pause to take a call or have a conversation - even like 2-3 minutes, the move disconnects and then I have to switch back to MacBook pro speakers and then again to the move. It’s a pain the tukus - is there anyway to set it so that it’s always the speaker and it never disconnects?

Hi @bjames007, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues keeping your Move connected to your MacBook. How are you playing to your system, is it through AirPlay or Bluetooth? As a test, after the device disconnects, does it reconnect and play if you adjust the volume or do you still have to reconnect it to your Mac?

If you’re able to replicate this issue quite easily, I’d recommend submitting a diagnostics within ten minutes of the issue occurring, then reaching out to our support team for further assistance.

It is through the control center - I’m guessing it is Bluetooth.  Very easily replicated.  I’ve never tried to change the volume — basically the computer is just mute until I switch it to MacBook speakers and then back again to the Sonos speaker.
