I can’t seem to figure out how search is supposed to work on Tunein radio, Iheart radio and other services. If I am looking for a particular station or program it seems I need to know in advance which category and sub-category Sonos has decided to apply to my target, if it is listed at all. There do not seem to be an effective search function. How do people find stations and programs?
Do you have a delay?if so how would you resolve the issue?
Hello folks. Just bought and set up my first Sonos (Beam). On my LG tv when I increase or lower the volume all I see is a + or - sign. Can this be changed to numbers or a bar? Thanks
If someone resets my system, will I get an email or any kind of notification? I have a system set up in a rental and am worried about someone trying to reset it and take it over or even remove it from the home. Thanks for any advice.
I have music on Google Drive. How can I play this through sonos?
Hello. I have the ARC soundbar and would like to connect it to my Firestick 4K so i can use the remote with my Firestick 4K. Can anyone advise? Thank you!
Hi there I recently bought a beam and have set it up with my Samsung tv (5 years old). Initially I could get Dolby sound from the tv apps (Netflix, prime etc) but not with sky TVi found a thread on here that recommended a hdmi splitter and doing the following, which I have done.“- HDMI from Sky Q to the "in" port on the splitter- HDMI from "Out" port on the splitter to TV (HDMI ARC)- Optical from Beam into Splitter- Splitter set to "pass" and arc "on"- Sky box set to output Dolby Digital “ initially this didn’t work but if I chose arc ‘off’ on the splitter then sky tv plays in perfect Dolby but I now get no sound from the tv apps. if I switch from sky to say Amazon prime, the audio from sky continues to play any tips on getting it to work on both sky and my tv apps? thanks Im advance
Once the Sonos Move is fully charged do you disconnect the charger from the power supply?Im concerned about over charging the speakers battery and causing damage!
A couple weeks ago, I installed a new Beam on my mom’s Vizio V505-G9 TV. Worked great. Then about 3 days ago, it started acting weird. At a certain point, the TV screen goes black and audio cuts out for a few seconds. The video comes back, along with TV audio after a few seconds, then the Beam kicks back in and all is well. Until about 60-90 seconds later, when the process repeats itself.I’ve replaced HDMI cables, verified that it’s not her Xfinity service (happen while using Roku as well), and disconnected the Beam. The TV has no issues without the Beam connected. I’ve powered off everything and back on, which makes it happy for 10-15 minutes, but then the problem resumes.Has anyone else encountered problems where the video gets interrupted as well as sound? It seemed to me like there was an overload or something on the outputs and it was causing a reset of some kind.
I had the arc first and loved it. I added the base and the sound is terrible. Its like the arc itself is doing too much bass too. No more mid range or highs! There was a show with song intro with horns and singing (his dark materials) and now i can barely hear the horns and it doesnt sound as good. Anyone else? I tried playing with the eq settings, loudness, re tuning. Should I just return the sub?

I would buy more equipment if I thought you’d support your product with multiple genres and more length to a genre. But it looks like you’re waiting for another vendor to leapfrog you and get your future new business. I guess I just have to wait until Sonos goes belly-up and someone buys your code.
This is a popular topic - Connecting Bluetooth Headphones to a SmartTV that is connected to a SONOS Soundbar using HDMI-CEC (Beam, ARC, PlayBar ...). I have Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. What works for me is to connect the TV (Samsung SmartTV) to a Bluetooth transmitter using an optical cable. The analog output (audio jack) from the Samsung TV is not active when the TV is connected to the Beam over HDMI-CEC, however, there is a signal on the optical interface. This configuration supports simultaneous audio over the headphones and soundbar. You will need a Bluetooth transmitter that supports an optical input. After turning on the headphones and successfully pairing with the Bluetooth transmitter, I double tap the right headphone (Sony’s touch sensor control) to “play” the TV’s audio over the Bluetooth transmitter.
Please provide a software update that allows Sonus Move to pair with a Sonus Sub. I shouldn’t be forced to buy another Sub-compatible speaker in order to pair with a Sub then group them all. I understand the reasoning of the Move being portable, but if I want one or more Moves paired with a Sub while they’re in their normal location, you should let me. It’s easy enough to turn off the Sub temporarily if I want to take the Move(s) in another room (or outside) and the Sub isn’t nearby. In my case, I want a pair of Moves+Sub in my bedroom/bathroom with the Sub under the bed. I bought the Moves so I could “Move” them in the bathroom when I shower and get ready without having to unplug/plug power cables. In order to achieve this, I had to buy a Play:5 to pair with the Sub. The Sub is still in close proximity and sounds great with the additional Play:5 but I don’t really need the extra Play:5 and this kind of use case is exactly why some people will buy Moves instead of fixed-location
Hi, I just bought an Arc, sub gen 3 and two one SL’s for 5.1 surround sound set up with a Samsung 75" Class TU7000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV (2020). I cannot get Dolby Atmos to work / show up on the app… atmos is enabled in TV settings, I have the HDMI plugged into eARC and have tried multiple Dolby atmos content on Disney+ and Amazon Prime.Searched the community extensively and can’t seem to find a solution :( please help!
The other thread that had this topic is closed, but didn’t address my problem. After an hour with sonos help, this is what we did.First, confirmed my S2 was up to date. Unplugged all sonos speakers/units Rebooted the router Plugged them back in.It took a little waiting for them to come back online, but it did the trick.
Hello All in the Community! I continued to be asked to upgrade my app on my phone everytime I log in. I have a friend that did the upgrade and is now no longer able to use their devices. What is the deal with the older devices. Will it brick my networked amps and portables if I upgrade the software? I have Sonos Play 1 and Sonos Connect Amps. Thank youRalph
I ordered Sonos One (white) on the Oct 30th. Website indicated it would ship the same day but on Dec 3rd the status of the order is still being processed?

I have a new 7m x 7m extension on my house and I mostly listen to classical music.I have a Five and thinking of adding another to this room. I am also considering the addition of a Sub. Would this be worthwhile or would it be overkill? I appreciate any advice offered.John
There is no perceptible difference to the sound after adding Sub gen3. I have Beam with 2 One SLs as surrounds. Kneeling in front of sub I can hear very very faint sound. I have set up with true play.how do I set up the system please?
I know this might be an empty conversation but wanted to throw it out there. Sonos bought Snips Voice Assistant Service more than a year ago and we haven’t heard or seen anything come of it. While I can put up with Alexa (it works about 25% of the time) I would really LOVE and prefer something that is focussed on music management oriented usage. Any thoughts, updates, rumors or ideas.
Hi. I have a Connect for my separates hi fi system which is not compatible with the S2 controller. I wanted to keep up with developments & improve functionality etc so the Port, at a substantial cost, seemed the next best step. Unfortunately reviews of the Port are showing that sound quality is poorer & sound stage confused in comparison with the Connect. Is Sonos aware aware of this backward step & are they they fixing this so the Port becomes a quality product & an improvement in the sound delivery department over the Connect. Until this is so I am sticking to the Connect & the S1 app until it becomes totally useless. Thanks for any comments or advice. Keith D.
