Sub gen 3 not making much difference

There is no perceptible difference to the sound after adding Sub gen3. I have Beam with 2 One SLs as surrounds. Kneeling in front of sub I can hear very very faint sound. I have set up with true play.

how do I set up the system please?

Welcome to the Sonos community and thanks for bringing this to our attention. Allow me to ask some questions and provide some recommendations to help you out.

  • What is the source of the audio that has no audio? TV, Cable Box, In-app movies? cable box apps, etc.?
  • Do we have the same result when we listen to music via the Sonos App?
  • Do we have the same result when we use Airplay?
  • Do we have the same result when we play music from the native App like the Spotify app?
  • Can we submit a diagnostic with all of the provided suggestions above so we can make a comparison on what is going on to be able to know what might be the root cause.
