Occasionally my Move will stop playing in the middle of a local playlist. The screen below pops up and suggests some things to try. Before following step 1, to unplug your router which will disrupt your entire network, just power your Move OFF and ON.That simple step works for me.
Hi there,I have recently put a deposit for a Samsung Q95T with the one box.I am set on buying the Arc sorround set. However after doing some online researching I have found a lot of concerning remarks that the Sonos Arc and Samsung Q95T have some connectivity issues.May I check if the problem has been resolved? If not I will look into buying another TV. Thank you.
Hi! Just wondering if there have been any suggestions of adding av «quick toggle» surronund on off in the main «arc» controll page? I think that would be an great controll to add, for when i am just watching news on the tv.
Just wondering
Hi allVery impressed. Ordered direct from SONOS dispatched from Holland and with me next day ! All set up quite simple having watched a few tutorials…It has replaced an Orbitsound Bar from around 2014 which had a wireless Sub..The clarity of voice is so much better with the SONOS but lacks a bit of bass. So, I am considering the SONOS sub… which is dearer than the Beam was.. While I am pleased with the Beam, would I be ‘blown away’ my spending the hard earned on the Sub ? Any others with this setup of a beam and a sub?
I’ve just bought an Arc and connected it to my existing Sub Gen 2 and two play 5 rears. I’ve also just bought a 75” Sony TV with eArc and I’m pondering the purchase of a second new Gen 3 sub. My room is 7m x 7m and has a 3m ceiling. Before I commit to this, just wondering if anyone else has bought a second sub and if there’s much of a difference?
I was listening to Sunset Fuzz today and they played a gorgeous song that I’d like to track down. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find a track list for the songs they already played, and googling the only phrase I remember (something like “I won’t stop til I buy your land”) didn’t get me any hits. Is there any way to find a track listing for Sonos Radio channels? I know the one I’m looking for played at ~2:30pm Pacific Time Jan 1st. Thanks in advance
HiI’ve been using Sonos on my Mac for several years, with my music stored on an external drive. All was well until I updated to Catalina last year -- Sonos could not access the drive. I think this issue was well documented on this site. I tried adding every privilege recommended by Sonos stuff, never worked. So I moved my music library to the main drive on my iMac (late 2015).Now that Big Sur is here, I wanted to check if anyone has had better luck? The external drive is a WD MyBook 2TB formatted with MacOS Extended Journaling. I checked my main drive, and I see two things: it’s formatted to AFPS, and the Music folder on it has an additional right that the WD doesn’t have:The external drive is missing the first bit. I’m not sure if this is new in Big Sur or not.So, I haven’t tried anything yet, but would appreciate any input from other Mac users. Thanks,David
I have a Pioneer SX455 receiver connected to a cd player and a turntable. I would like to use a Port to play receiver output on Sonos speakers. Can I connect speakers out to line in on Port using speaker wires that are bare wire on one end and rca plug on the other?
I have a Sonos Arc and just bought a HomePod mini and want to be able to control the Arc through Hey Siri commands like Hey Siri turn the volume down on arc. I have added the arc to the home app but it says controls unavailable, when I ask Siri to change the volume it says there was a problem. I have removed the arc and re added it a couple times and still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
Can’t connect my beam to my Samsung smart tv
Hii‘m hoping someone can help with the issue(s) outlined below as trying to go between potentially three different support companies in Sonos/Apple/Panasonic is proving difficult. So I have myself a new Sonos Arc which has replaced Sonos Playbase as part of surround sound with sonos sub and two play ones.My TV is a Panasonic Viera from 2017 with an Arc port (not eArc) on HDMI2. Model 58dx700b. My Sonos Arc is currently attached via hdmi not with the optical adapter.I also use an Apple TV 4K on hdmi 1 port along with basic aerial into aerial tv point for freeview. My issues are as follows.1. Despite having reset everything notably the TV to factory settings and re attached the Arc, whilst I can get sound when using Apple TV I can only get the normal TV sound once I have switched input source to hdmi 2 for the Arc and switch back to TV source again. If I switch the TV off and come back to it half an hour later I have to repeat this. I did briefly try with optical adapter and didn’t have th
I’m totally confused! I have an Apple 4K, Roku Ultra, Fire Stick 4K, and Android TV in a Sony XBR-55X900E. So I bring up Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime using the Android TV and there is no Dolby Atmos logo showing in the movie description. Now, I go to Apple TV bring up the same movie and it shows the Dolby Atmos logo. Now, how do I know if it’s playing in Dolby Atmos. I check the S2 app on my iPhone and there is nothing showing me any audio output sound except I have enhanced speech turned on. And the night sound logo.
Hi, I’m a very happy owner of a Sonos Arc, Two Play Fives (rears) and 2 subs. Let me first say - kudos - this is the closest I have been able to get to a high end dedicated separates setup from a wireless (speaker cable perspective) setup. I bought into Sonos because I really appreciate the configurability of the speaker range and I am a huge believe in dedicated powered speakers where each speaker contains it’s own dedicated pre-amp/amp and woofer technology closely mated to each other. While I truly do love my Sonos Arc set, I do feel that there is a possible step up in sound quality that Sonos *could* offer… Allow the Sonos Amp to wirelessly connect 5 separate Sonos Fives (Front left, center, Front Right, rear left, rear right) for dedicated 5.1/5.2 setup. If Sonos wanted to go all out it would be lovely to know that I could grow my home theatre setup into a true 5.2.4 setup (augmenting the above setup with dedicated One’s for height atmospheric effect. While I appreciate just how go
The Arc is a great new soundbar, the sound is great and the aesthetic is pretty good. But when mounted on the wall using the official kit the feet are very visible. The underside of the Arc is covered in a single piece rubber covering that has two raised bars at each end which lift the Arc when mounted on a flat surface. I’m sure they are great for that purpose, but when mounted on the wall it just looks like something that was designed to sit on a flat surface which has been stuck to the wall. This really spoils the effect and look of the soundbar. Surely it would have been very easy to make these removable for when wall mounted. Or a replacement rubber base covering (its glued on) that comes with the wall mount kit. This is a big miss by Sonos IMHO
i have the white sonos arc. do they make sonos mount in white or only black. can i paint the mount white if no white?
I am running the S1 and have most a fair amount of gen 2 components but am still running a gen1 amp, so I am using s1. I tried to add a new play bar but am being blocked until I upgrade my system. In reading other threads I upgraded to iOS 14.3 and have restarted my router and each Sonos component. I still cannot perform a system upgrade.
I was hoping someone could give me some help. I want to connect a beam, and 4 SL ones into one surround sound package.
Hey Sonos… listen up. You phone app has turned into “Pop-up central” for your HD radio service. I only need to see it once, not every time I get into the app. if I am missing a setting to turn this unwanted advertisements off… I apologize and please let me know what this setting is. If not, please stop the madness. thanks
HelloI have a weird issue with my Apple TV 4k and Sonos surround setup. Here is the setup: Beam + 2x Play One SLs, Beam is connected to my Sony TV via HDMI ARC.When using my PS4 or my Nintendo Switch, no issue, everythings fine. When I use my Apple TV 4k, the main interface and most of the audio only plays on the beam and not on the Play One SLs. Even weirder, when I launch a movie from the Movie app, it plays actual surround on all speakers!I tried multiple settings, both on my tv and on my Apple TV, the only way to have the sound coming out of all speakers it through Airplay, which is not great because it is not automatic and adds latency issues.Of course, everything runs latest software updates and have been restarted. Anyone has similar issue?
I own an Arc and a Sony UBP-X700 4K Blu Ray Player. I know how to set the Blu Ray player to output Bitstream so the Arc can decode Atmos, but what settings do I need to look for on the player and TV so the player will decode DTS and send LPCM through the TV to the Arc.Thanks in advance for any help.
Sonos Arc and LG TV. When starting streaming music With TV on I authorize Interruption of Tv audio as requested in the dialogue box. When I stop music TV audio does not return automatically. My quick fix is toggling TV autoplay off-on and TV audio returns. I would prefer that it works automatically.Thanks.
I have been dealing with seemingly random static/crackling on my rear channel Play 3s in my 5.1 setup (which also consists of a Playbar and Sub). My Sonos system is running on Wifi via my Orbi Mesh network, not Sonosnet (switched it over a while back in an effort to address this problem and what seemed like communication issues between other Sonos components in our house--we have a lot. Helped with the rest, but still get the random rear channel noise on the 5.1 setup.) Our network is very fast and we have no other issues with it. Most of what we watch is through Apple TV, either Apple content directly, Netflix, Prime, HBO Max, etc. It happens randomly on all of these, but most consistently through Netflix. Apple TV is set to output Dolby 5.1; I’ve adjusted these settings and it seems to make no difference.Sound is passed through our TV (Sony XBR65X950H) with all the sound processing settings in the TV turned off, at least to my knowledge. The problem seems to occur mostly at rando
I’m looking to merge my 5.1 non-sonos theatre system to control via sonos app. I want to be able to run it through a anthem 520 receiver, and be able to switch inputs from games consoles, to blue ray player, to media. I’m thinking the sonos port may be able to control this. I have a zone 2 tv setup in a different room, connected via hdmi to that same receiver, this way I can use game console, blue ray player on both TV’s. my zone 2 audio is sonos 5.1, with a sub, playbar, and 2 paired play:3. i want to be bale to control this through sonos app aswell.I don’t wan to have to have a bunch of different remotes, and/or apps to control all of these. I want the ease of turning it all on/off and switching inputs with tops 2 apps.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Theatre room-martin logan motion left/centre/right-Soundstage left/right surround-samsung smart 75Q80TZONE 2-Playbar-sub-paired play:3-samsung 6 series (65)I a
