I´m about to get a Sonos One and have a question regarding Google Home as I understand is upcoming for Sonos. When Google Home is integrated with Sonos, will it be possible to set up a group of speakers containing both Sonos and Google home speakers? I have a couple of Google Home speakers and it would be awesome to be able to play through them all, including Sonos One simultaneously. Hope for the best Best regards Toomas Kardfall

I've ordered a Beam as it is seems perfect for my requirements. My TV is on a wall mount bracket above a fireplace. I would like to hang the Beam below my TV as there is no wall below the TV to use the Beam mounts (they are all for wall mounting). Does anyone know if the Sanus Playbar TV mount would work ( https://www.sonos.com/en-gb/shop/sanus-playbar-tv-mount.html ) or if not whether there is currently an alternative, many thanks

I have read as many of the relevant posts here but can't find an answer to my problem. Any help appreciated. When I installed my Beam in August it worked perfectly with my Sky Q remote until a few weeks a go. I have changed the batteries in the remote moved closer to the Beam etc. etc. but just cannot get to to work again.

Hello, I recently purchased a few Sonos Ones (first time Sonos user). I have been playing around with the Alexa integration and I find it pretty useful.... and so have our little kids. The kids love nothing more than shouting at Alexa first thing in the morning and getting random music to play at full volume. Same can happen when we are listening to something they find it hilarious to change the music / talk to Alexa. All of which leads me to the topic title... From what I can see there appears to be no way to temporarily disable voice control; - Turning the microphone off using the button on the speaker isn't helpful (in this scenario) because it can simply be touched to be re-enabled again - The microphone button on the speaker is not disabled when I have turned off the touch control buttons in the app (which I find a bit weird given there is almost no point in turning the touch controls off if anyone can simply override everything with Alexa). - I have tried seeing if I

hello, i was wondering if the new sonos connect i bought works hooked up to my Anthem MCA-5 external power amp? I know it would be better with a home theatre or stereo reliever but will this setup work and if so what do i need to hook up to make sure i don't blow the amp or the speakers (which are gonna be brand new)? thanks in advance!

I just added a sonos one and sound bar to my home environment, but I can’t seem to group them with my existing echos such that they all play the same music simultaneously. Is there a fix for this or just not part of the compatibility?

so i got sonos one all set up and alexa was plying music and now when you tell her to play a song she aknowleges the song and says shes playing it but it never plays. any ideas..

I have just added a Sonos Boost to my existing Sonos system. I added it using the iPad version of the Sonos controller software which was straight forward. Can anyone tell me if that's it? Seems too good to be true. Do I need to do anything to connect my Sonos speakers to the Boost (i.e. Disconnect them from the standard wifi network they have been working on) or is it all sorted in those simple set up steps for the Boost?

I try to create this configuration: Room name: "Living Room" 1 x Sonos Beam 4 x Sonos Play:1, preferably in surround configuration. my controller is on an Android phone. The main problem that I run into is that I cannot add more that two Play:1 speakers in the same room with Beam (when trying to add more speakers, I don't have the "Living Room" room available in the drop down list on the controller, which forces me to add speakers to another room.)

I have removed the Alexa and Amazon App an re-isntalled it with the account/email asscoiated with the Sonos account. When I attempt to add voice services to the newly added Sonos One it ALWAYS associates the wrong email/account when linking to Sonos. As a result, the proper physical location is never associated with the speaker, not can it be setup properly in Alexa (never saves). I have followed the guidance on factory resetting and I am still in the same place. Very disappointed in how buggy this software is since I bought the One and it won't associate with the proper account or properly play back music from TuneIn or Amazon (no play back). Voice control is crucial and this is just a boat anchor at this point. Any guidance I can get besides the exisitng articles you guys have already published?

Is the Sonos One supposed to be able to set reminders? The Echo can. Alexa told me it cannot set a reminder on this device.

Is there any way to turn off the pop-ups that appear every time a new song plays on the (MAC) desktop controller? Nothing in "Preferences" seemed to offer the option.

Hi, Good to know Alexa routines can now interact with preferred speakers in sonos groups, great work Sonos. However rather than using Music in the Alexa routine to play music via Sonos I’d like to control the volume (and other things) - however Sonos isn’t available as a device in Alexa routines, is this being planned? For now I’ve got a Yonomi routine which Alexa can call in its routine (via the Yonomi scene) however as Yonomi Sonos integration requires a local device running the Yonomi app it’s a bit flakey. Any suggestions on how to make this work better? Stringify doesn’t work in the UK to do this, and I don’t think IFTTT can be triggered from an Alexa routine? Thanks!

No matter what I do to install Alexa, Play 1 will not show online. It is not discoverable. I disconnected my Sonos account from Alexa and then rejoined it to see if that solution would work. Not. But it is showing in my devices. Ran diagnostic 1764600812 Pics attached.
