How does the Move 2 compare to the Roam

Has anyone had any luck getting a refund for their Sonos Roam via John Lewis (still within 2 year warranty) ?When it works the sound is great the user interface is so buggy and inconsistent - turning on, connecting with Alexa, bluetooth all work sometimes and not others - I’ve tried the various resets, updates etc but the user experience is rubbish (and the button is pants) By contast the kids have various Ultimate Ears devices (Wonderboom, Megaboom) which never fail to turn on/of or connect etc.    Just wondered what others have done (or perhaps moved to another make)?

Waited for 40 min for a chat, and then chatted 30 min with an agent to troubleshoot, and then chat agent asked me to call the number instead.Called the phone number, 55 min of waiting, and then 2 hours 40 min of troubleshooting, the agent exhaust all options but still try to asked me nonsense questions…My product is still within one year warranty but Sonos seems implmenting a way to discourage user to get a repair, refund or replacement.Is this something new or that has been the norm for warrenty claim?

Is SONOS pranking us? The initial update was total dumpster files... all one star reviews. We are now on the third update since then and still a joke. Can't find speakers, I turn on speakers and Sonos turns them off, can't find the system but restarting the app and it works... until next time can't find streaming services... I could go on and on but too numerous. I think there are a bunch of 20 year old coders sitting around smoking weed and laughing at us while the C-suite execs make excuses. Unbelievable.

Hi friends.I’ve got a new sonos roam and want to set up a new system.The app can find the Roam initially, it’s flashing green, but it can’t connect.It tries to connect with the chimes, doesn’t work.  Put the PIN in, that didn’t work either.I’ve reset my phone and also deleted and reinstalled the app a few times, still the same story.I even tried it with the old S1 app, it says it isn’t compatible.Also tried connecting with my iPad, same story there!I would love to get this working!  But I don’t know what else to try.Thanks all :)

My Sonos Rome stopped working. The white light is flashing, but Can’t get it to work

HelloI installed the app update a few days ago and noticed right away it was unable to connect to my roam. Every other speaker I have works fine but the roam wouldn’t connect. I figured it was just a glitch, looked for an update for the roam but none was available, so I did a factory reset. Once I did that and tried to reconnect the roam to my system it goes into green flashing mode, and the app stays on “Getting you Sonos Roam ready...” for hours. I contacted support via chat but all they did was take my info and say someone may get back to me, but don’t expect it. So now I have a pretty slick paperweight  that was working before the update, now I can’t even use it as a bluetooth speaker. Anyone else having this issue? Has there been any talk of this from Sonos? Is it too related or maybe a hardware issue? Very frustrating.

Can you connect 2x Move portable speakers to an iPhone and stream music to both via bluetooth? I have a Move and consider to add Move 2. I'd like to stream to both simultaneously

I have 3 Roams, all purchased around when the product was first released. One is my go to for out of the house, but the other 2 never leave the house. They all stopped working within a couple of weeks of each other. The orange charging light comes on, but I can’t get them on. I’ve tried the 12 second thing and the factory reset buttons, nothing seems to work. Please help.

Has anyone else’s Move portable speaker stopped working after 2 years use? Wondering if it’s worth spending money on a new one?

Can I use Roam to pair with Ray

Can the Roam charge wireless via the charging base with the Otterbox case in situ ? 

For whatever reason. Every time I unplug the charging base for my Move, Alexa will stop responding to voice commands.I’ve tried removing and and readding Alexa in both the Sonos and Alexa apps. This has worked before but now I’m getting an error message when trying to readd Sonos in the Alexa app.Is this a new issue or an ongoing one? 

I just got a new move one because my other one was broken from you guys and now with the new app I cannot play any of my radio stations like BBC radio 1 if I ask Alexa to play it via the Sonos

I can’t connect my Sonos move with the new app. It keeps asking me to sign in as the system owner. Please help

Hi, Since yesterday I cannt select my favorite radiostation in the Sonos app (Q Music), other stations are working well (Sonos Roam). I have removed the app and re-installed and it still doesn't work. No change in network or otherwise. What can I do? 

Brand new move 2 not turning on

Move 1 is 4 years old.  New battery last week - orange light flashing - not chargingtried to phone Sonos - 2 hours on the phone - all busy

This is utter garbage.I’ve spent £1000s on Sonos and I’ve got a Move that’s a few years old, gets occasional usage. Was working fine, plenty of battery, next day totally dead. I get a solid orange light on the charge indicator and nothing else.I can’t reset it, I can’t charge it. I can’t email support for help. 

My Sonos Move won’t turn on.  It’s charged.  The audio microphone is on but I haven’t set up audio. 

HiI have an issue which I can’t seem to rectify despite all the solutions I’ve tried.Basically, My devices are using wifi and I would like to have both the Beam and Roam playing at the same time so that I can take the Roam to another room or even outside and still listen to anything being played.However, when the Roam is powered on, it picks up what is being played on the Beam but then the Beam cuts out. Similarly when I power off the Roam, the Beam comes back into play.I can’t get the two to play simultaneously.I have changed my network recently, and all the devices are attached to the same network.I’m not yet too familiar with my fairly new Sonos setup and am guessing that the solution might be quite simple, but I am having problems trying to get these working together.Has anyone had a similar issue please ?

I just got a Roam mostly for use in the bathroom. I also have an automation system (homey) that can control my Sonos speakers. Unfortunately that doesn’t work when the roam is in Sleep mode. It would be great if you could set a time at which the roam Automatically wakes up. That way I could make sure I have some nice music playing when i get in the shower. 

I can’t figure out how to play a video such as YouTube or Netflix on my phone and connect to Sonos move for sound .  Both are on same WiFi. Do I have to use blue tooth and if so how ? No blue tooth button on the Sonos move.  Help
