Is there any device i can connect my Sony PHA3 balance output to Sonos Roam USB C?Moderator edit: corrected typos
Hi Alli have successfully replace my battery on my Roam. The glued on end caps don’t seem to be as tight after reassembly. Any recommendations on replacement adhesives to make the end caps tight to the chassis again? Thanks
I read the whole thing: charge ithold the button on the back for 12-15 seconds This doesn’t work. When I am charging it, the orange light is indicated on the front of the speaker
Why is the system not visible in the app when connected to Bluetooth? I use the system in a boat and do not have WiFi. I can play music but I cannot use the Sonos app. Poor design or is it just me?
I’m considering buying the wireless charger base for a Roam 2, but I don’t want a 4’ cable connected to it. Is the cable hardwired into the base, or can I swap out the USB-C cable with a shorter one?

My app says my move is in sleep mode. How do I wake it up?

I’ve read every article, etc. and my ROAM SL has never been able to work with the upgraded app. I only use the device to augment my TV Sonos ARC. I don’t stream music or use any other function. Can I just use the original app? I don’t want an upgrade that is killing me. Tell me where I can get the old app.
Sonos roam charge indicator is blinking with very low density. You almost can’t see the led is blinking. Roam doesn’t react anymore. Already tried a reset. Battery dead?
My speaker will register on my network but not my app
When I plug in my Sonos Roam, the red light on the front appears but it does not respond in any way to pressing power buttons or any other buttons. Prior to this I was having a lot of software issues with it, it needed a factory reset at least once a week to function normally. It’s essentially an expensive paper weight, any idea what is wrong with it? Any advice to get sonos to replaceit?
White light on won’t respond to power button for 10 seconds. I can hear the switch click. tried The Play/Pause hold and then power button. nothing. Suggestions?
Just picked up a discounted roam 2 and I am having a HECK of a time getting it to work like a sonos speaker.Aside: I’ve learned done research at this point and learned about the issues with the controller app update. I didn’t actually touch the sonos apps often - mostly just played directly to my previous One SL from apps or airplay. When that speaker stopped working recently I sold it and used the money to buy this one.I mention the SL because I assumed it was no longer working due to being out of production, or maybe because I had recently switched to mesh (TP-Link Deco) wifi.Long story short, i got the new Roam 2 to connect to my mesh wifi in 2 or 3 tries yesterday (after a factory reset and logging out of the app, first setup failed on ‘need to update your Roam’). Then this morning app says it doesn’t detect my system. I’ve tried to add it with factory reset and logout 4 or 5 times, and i’ve gone into my mesh wifi settings to tell the router to keep this devices on the 2.4ghz netwo
My two-month-old Move 2 has been on the charging base since I last used it yesterday but now, the app doesn’t detect it, the power button does nothing, and when I lift it out of the base and put it back, a solid orange light comes on briefly at the bottom and then vanishes. Any ideas on what’s gone wrong with it, and how to fix it? Thanks.UPDATE: After many attempts at hard resetting, the Move 2 suddenly came back to life and wasn’t even reset, so all my config and services were intact. Very strange, and I hope it doesn’t signal more problems ahead, but I’m happy for now.
Hey Guys, I am aware that I can use a Sonos ADC audio adapter and line in connection to connect analog audio devices and that is fine. I am also aware that I can use (iPhone - DAC - 3.5 mm audio cable - ADC- Move) combo. This IMHO, an overkill… first take a digital signal, then convert it to analog and then again to digital. 2 times conversion means heavy loss of signal. So then why can’t I use the USB-C to USB-C cable directly from iPhone 15 pro. max to the move2 and stream music directly in digital form? I tried and failed miserably. I even changed the cable twice, no result. Only if I use the Line in adapter, it works….. If anyone has a solution and or reasons to explain why Sonos does not support C to C data transfer. OR what can I do to get a wired C to C music transfer….. I would suggest that this is one good improvement Sonos should make in their next firmware update. Sonos has already messed up on the app. side, this one improvement will gain some traction for them.
How do I return this expensive speaker? The product doesn't connect wirelessly and the app doesnt work at all. Customer support is non-existent and a class action lawsuit is sure to come. Move2
Can anyone explain to me how to switch on my Sonos move . It’s cut out and won’t pair back up .
Hi - How can I change my Move, which is currently on the S1 system, to the S2 system? I have several other speakers that I will keep on the S1 system. They’re not S2 compatible. Thank you!
As I powered on my Move 2 (on battery) this morning, I noticed the status light did not illuminate as per normal (usually goes white when connected to wifi). Nonetheless it IS on wifi as it quite happily responded to ‘Alexa’ and played a radio station, and I can also see it in the app.Anyone else? Is this a new software ‘feature’ that came with some recent update? If so have to say I don’t like it, as my Move sits on a shelf where the top of the speaker is not visible, and I now can’t tell when it is powered on and connected!
Trying to conect roam to de app to configurate for first time. After sharing the wifi pasword and so on it shows a message (the screenshot below) and closes the app. I try to folow the steps this message indicates, but the device stays forever with the white led and it’s impossible to conect it again. I have to restart it to redo the hole process to end up in the same point of the message. If someone does know something about it, i would like to hear itThanks! The message is in spanish, it says Sonos roam has been added, but it may not appear in the system, in that case hold the power button 5s to power off, and then, power it on to continue the configuration form the system config.
Hey Sonos community.can I pair my Sonos move with a move2?thanks for any replies.
Roam 1 once the battery failed the device was useless. It will not work even with the power cable connected.
So I’ve reached out to support about this numerous times and the two answers I’ve gotten are:A) Move closer to your WiFi RouterB) The Sonos Move 2 Speakers cannot handle the bandwidth of Lossless Audio over WiFi. I’m sure these support agents have no idea what they’re talking about. The issue is with the speakers themselves, and can be resolved by writing better firmware. To disprove the claim that I am too far from my WiFi router, I went ahead and upgraded my already top-of-the-line-but-several-years-old WiFi router to an even better one. I’m glad I spent the money on it. It’s a better router with superior configuration options for techy people like myself. Same connectivity issues with my Move 2 speakers. Everything else works great on it including my other Sonos devices. If the second claim is true (the speakers can’t handle lossless audio) then I have to wonder why they were built in the first place? They produce great quality audio when they work. But most of the time they s
