Portable speakers

I get great wifi reception on my Sonos Move when sending Amazon Music to it but get terrible reception when addihg the move to my Sony Play5 speakers connected to laptop music. How can I fix it?

See some states that they can see roam  battery status in the Sonos app when connected to BT but it doesn’t show in my app. iOS - everything updated.   Any suggestions?

When I try to connect it to my system it comes up as unnamed deviceIt is either powered off when it is not or in sleep mode Cannot get it past that Have reset it and tried re-adding it but no change Steve edit: Some additional info. It seems to add my Move 2 okay but at the end it warns me that it may not appear in my app and if not to power off and on again. I have done that multiple times but the app must shows it as Powered OffModerator edit: combined posts

I got a brand new Sonos Move2 direct from Sonos. I’m a fitness instructor and needed to connect via Bluetooth. The first time I used it the sound kept cutting out. I’m using Spotify on an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve used this device in the same rooms and positions connecting to my old Bose and had no problem at all. I contacted Sonos and they told me to reset and send diagnostics etc. when they couldn’t find the problem they send me another band new one and I had to return the original one back to Poland. The second one came. First time I tried it, exactly the same. Again contacted Sonos, went through all the diagnostics with no joy. I explained the goods were unfit for purpose however they refused to give me a refund stating because I had received a replacement it was out of their money back guarantee!! I’m fuming. I have a speaker that is useless for my purpose!! Wish I had upgraded to a better Bose. The only thing I have found which helped slightly was moving my iPhone further awa

I love my Sonos system. When my Bose bluetooth speaker hit EOL I opted for a Roam loving the idea that I could link it to my existing system but also take it anywhere with me. And it does work great at both. My only criticism is that it’s a power hog. I took it on my recent 5 day camping trip & was able to use it for campfire music the first night. The next day I used my portable power bank to charge it. This power bank should’ve been able to charge my iPhone 15 4 times. After charging my iphone once, the Roam sucked up the remainder of the power bank leaving me unable to charge anything else. We ended up using my friend’s cheap bluetooth speaker for most of the trip as it lasted just as long (didn’t actually time it & alcohol was consumed so don’t hold me to that lol) & was easier to recharge. I ended running my car for 30min to recharge my iPhone & power bank. I ordered a small portable solar panel for charging on Prime Days to hopefully help keep it charged next trip

I can see the Sonos Move in system but I’m unable to have it join the already playing other room, nor I’m able to play by it self. I have rebooted it several times. Any advice?

Does anyone know how to connect Play 3 and Move 2

As of today, my Roam SL no longer appears in the APP. I have reset and reconnected to the WFI Network, which connects to the WFI Network but does not appear in the APP. I am also done reset the router and nothing changed.The two Play1s in the same network have remained in the APP and are working. What's the problem?

Hi all, since the latest update for iOS, the microphone function has stopped working. I read a few posts on the community pages on a similar topics ,but nothing to cure the problem ?Any help would be appreciated 

Hello - I just picked up a Roam 2. I can connect via BT to my phone (Android Samsung Galaxy S21/Verizon) and it works fine. But, I can’t connect to the Roam in the Sonos app. I’ve unpaired, reset, etc., but no luck.Perhaps this is a clue: I have the same issue with my JBL BT headphones -- I can connect them via BT, but not at all through the JBL app. Both apps have permissions set to allow BT. Thoughts? The Sonos Web site says that Roam and Move can--does this mean that Roam 2 and Move 2 can’t?

What sets SNOS apart in terms of user interface and experience?

I purchased 2 new Move 2 speakers with the hope that I could travel with them. I took them to my friends house and wanted to add them to her network/system so we could play them by the pool as part of her existing setup. I can’t figure out how to get them to add as new speakers to her system. Is this possible? If so can I return home and have them automatically reconnect back to my home system?

I own two sonos one sl and a Sonos Roam . My sonos one SL are working in stereo, but i cannot find my sonos roam in the app y just Can airplay from spotify but it dosent work or even show up in the app. Someone Can help or have similar experience?

My Sonos Move does not connect despite a reset to factory settings.The product is recognized when going through the installation procedure. But a connection with the sound ping is not successful and gives an error message. After this, you will also have the option to use the PIN code that you can enter to connect. hello, my sonos roam opens by itself when I close it, I have to leave it constantly plugged in because the battery drops to 0 because of that, I have had this problem since purchasing it (about 1 year), is that what Has anyone this happened to?

I have had my Sonos move for years. Love it!Well, today I ran into an issue that it is connected to my phone via Bluetooth or through the app and it would not play any sound. The volume is on high on my phone like before and nothing. I believe I have updated the firmware as well and still nothing. Disconnected it and reconnected it. Nothing. I am at a loss. Wedding welcome party on. outside terrace for 90 people.  Want to mix move speakers with other speakers for good sound.  May all have to be portable - no outside electricity??How do I set this up - Hotel terrace. I do have a hot spot on my phone.  What usic source do you recommend?

I have 3 Sonos products and have my own wifi with an Amplifi mesh setup.  Worst issue is the iOS app but that’s another story. A find is trying to get their new Roam 2 set up and my son has a Move 2 that we got him.  SAME PROBLEM WITH BOTH. Once the devices get properly set up with the wifi, the app still doesn’t find a device e. I had both devices set up immediately to my Amplifi with no problem. That says to be the common issue is XB7 and Xfinity. Can anyone provide similar instances that they were able to solve?  Thanks, Tom
