Recently bought Sonos Roam 2. Great product and satisfied almost 100%. But I am unable to make the Sonos mic appear on my Widows 11 sound input device list and hence cannot add the mic to the apps (like Teams). I have enabled Auto-TruePlay and mic LED is on. But still do not get the mic to work with any of the apps, including Windows own Sound Recorder.
My Sonos Roam product goes through the add product process, and then when it goes to the final step of connecting to my wireless network it won’t connect. My other Sonos products all connected easily to my network. Any thoughts? I did a factory reset twice.
I use Sonos daily. Ever since they upgraded the app from Gould to Black, there are serious connectivity issues. I have powerful Internet throughout my entire place, which is not very large and ever since the upgrade, so many things have happened. 1. Sonos app doesn’t find my system, even though it finds my network. 2. I use an extra iOS device to be the remote control for Sonos as well as my phone. Sonos will no longer allow my extra iOS device to even populate the Sonos app even after I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it. It just shuts down every time I try to open it. 3 I purchased the Sonos Rome, it comes with simply a cable, no power adaptive plug that is USB-C to charge it. Guess what, they don’t even sell the USB-C power plug even though I received a message from Sonos asking me to purchase one. I received a message on my Sonos app advising me to use a power adapter so that I may efficiently charge my set of Sonos Roam speakers, it populated a photograph of the power plug showing o

I use Sonos MOVE. If you turn off auto trueplay from the app, you cannot turn it on from the top panel. The button is not active. Previously, I could turn auto trueplay on or off from the top panel and from the app. It was convenient..
hi there, I recently purchased a Sonos Move 2. My friend is hosting a backyard party in 2 weeks. She has Sonos in the house but asked if she could borrow my Move 2 to provide music in the backyard. Is there an easy way to sync my Move 2 with her house speakers so they play together? Thank you.
I have just purchased a Move 2.I have downloaded the Sonos app, registered and logged in. I have added the speaker to the app.The app is repeatedly asking me to “sign out and sign back in as the owner to manage settings” I am the owner! I have also ‘Transferred System Ownership’ using the tab at the bottom of the settings page, but still no luck.My Spotify is playing music, and the Move 2 comes up as an option to play music via, and I have selected this, but no music is coming through the speaker! I have done a hard reset on the speaker. I have logged in and out multiple times on the app.
Hi, while it was working very well, now it produces a veiled sound whether I am connected via Bluetooth or WiFi, I don't know why since it hasn't fallen. I tried turning it on and off, checking with the app, I reset the speaker but it doesn't change the sound.I hope you can help me.
New user of the Sonos Community forum, here.Quick post, just to register my disappointment with the Sonos Move 2, which was ultimately returned to the store for a refund just a few hours after purchase. After a lot of research, and weighing various options from several brands, I purchased the Move 2 during the Black Friday sales from a Australian retailer.I brought it home, unboxed it carefully, and allowed it to charge for about half an hour, but I couldn’t get it connected to the wifi.I found plenty of advice online, which I was happy to follow... suggesting a factory reset of the Move 2, terminating the Sonos app, clearing the cache of the app, reinstalling the app, resetting the router, changing the wifi b/g/n modes, and combinations of the above, among other things… but all to no avail.I left both 2.4GHz and 5GHz enabled, then alternated disabling each.I even changed the wifi password, in case the Move 2 disliked numbers, or letters, and eventually to minimise the chance that I was
I have a Sonos Move that will not connect to my phone. This has happened many dozens of times since I got the speaker, which is unacceptable. I factory reset it, again. Now it won't let me complete the setup in the app. It keeps saying my wifi password is wrong. It is not. My wifi is fine. I have not changed my wifi. I have not moved. Nothing at all has changed. There is clearly a problem with the speaker itself. I've spent hours on this, and am so frustrated. Please help!
Historically, I’ve just used my Sonos Move on my iPhone, connecting simply through bluetooth directly. To do that, I simply pressed the bluetooth button to enable connectivity and then would pair it on my phone. Then it would populate in my list of bluetooth devices. However, after trying to add this speaker to a system of two Play 5 gen 1 speakers I’m running via the S1 controller app on my iphone, I can no longer turn on the bluetooth discover function on the Move speaker.Even after factory reset, where the speaker goes into blinking green mode, the bluetooth button is now unresponsive. No matter now long I press the bluetooth button, the speaker just keeps blinking green.Adding the speaker to the S1 system was WAY WAY too difficult, so I just want to go back to simple direct bluetooth connection, but something in the attempted setup process seems to have broken the speaker.Or maybe I’m overlooking something? Please help.
I would like to know if I have or the best way to connect my Move 2 to an existing system which is an Ark Ultra , set of 300s and dual sub Gen 3s. I also have grouped a set of Fives. I know it’s a lot to figure out but I have connected my Moves and with everything going listening to music it sounds fantastic but as mentioned am I getting the best sound connected that way?, or is there a better way of doing it? Thanks in advance
All iOS devices are unable to connect to the Move 2 via AirPlay, displaying the message: "Unable to connect to ‘Move 2’." All iOS devices can successfully play back audio on other Sonos speakers (e.g., Arc, SYMFONISK) via AirPlay. Music streaming services (Apple Music, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, etc.) can playback on the Move 2 through the Sonos app. All relevant software and firmware are up-to-date, including iOS, macOS, the Sonos app, Move 2 firmware, and router firmware. All Sonos devices have reserved internal IP addresses. The router settings have not been changed recently and the router has been rebooted multiple times. The Sonos app has been reinstalled. The Move 2 has been factory reset multiple times. After extensive diagnosis with a Sonos agent, the unit was replaced. Surprisingly, the replacement—a brand-new Move 2—shows the same error message: "Unable to connect to ‘Move 2’" after setup. Please help. What additional steps can be taken?iOSMac
Why is there one button that you have to press and hold for different amounts of time to do who knows what? What does the white light mean? what does the green light mean? what does a flashing-blue-then-green light mean? why is it so goddamn hard to use this piece of crap?
First of all, I’d like to clarify something: Can I have multiple homes linked to the same Sonos account? For example, House 1 with one system, House 2 with another system, and House 3 with another system, all connected to a single email account for Sonos? This would allow me to control the systems by connecting to the Wi-Fi of each home without the need to have three different accounts with three different emails. That said, here’s the issue:I have a Sonos system with a Move 2 at home.I purchased another Move 2 for the office. When I try to connect it by creating a new location in the app, the application detects the Move 2 and proceeds with the setup process. However, when I select the Wi-Fi and enter the password, it says the network is not recognized. The Move 2 for the office has been reset multiple times (even though it’s new), but the connection still doesn’t work. If I create a new account, the Move 2 connects without any issues and completes the setup. The problem is that managing t
So the replacement battery is still OUT of stock??Is it ever going to available again?Has anyone purchased a generic version?
I have a Move speaker in my multi-room system but the audio keeps dropping out constantly. Few milliseconds dropouts every 15-20s. I have tried switching the channel but it doesn’t fix the issue. WiFi is strong in every room but Move keeps acting up. I use turntable as source hooked to Amp and all other speakers (Arc, Playbar, Play:1 x2, One x4, Sub x2) work flawlessly.
Sonos said they finished repairing the problems caused in the spring app update. If so, why are the speakers at my house continue to experience the same problems of unable to connect as it has been for months now. I've updated, Sonos has updated. Nothing here has changed. Why?
Will the Roam 2 Sonos Voice Assistant work with cellular only? I thought that only Alexa required wifi. I’m trying to use the Roam 2 hands-free with the Sonos Voice Assistant on my bike while on the trail. The voice assistant light is on, but the Roam 2 will not respond to commands. I am able to use the voice assistant fine while at the house with wifi.
I have a multi speaker system mostly bought new (3 x S5 Gen 1, 2 x Play 1 Gen 1 and a Beam Gen 1 with 2 more Gen 1 Play 1s linked to the Beam), all operating on S1. My daughter has very kindly recently given me a new Roam 2 for my birthday which I’ve only discovered after opening it is not compatible to S1 and can only operate on S2 or the new Sonos App. I understand that I could upgrade most of my S1 speakers apart from the S5s, but the S1 system works perfectly for what I bought it for, playing my own music library, so in view of the many negative issues the new App appears to be experiencing I’d prefer to set up a separate system for the Roam 2 on S2, for the time being at least. I’ve done some reading on here but find it all a bit confusing. Would someone be able to provide a step by step guide to creating a new system for the Roam 2 that doesn’t make my existing S1 system vulnerable to losing music library, playlists etc.My current iPhone 12 only has the S1 app and I’ve become a
Like a lot of people on here my Sonos Roam has stopped working, charging and not able to be rebooted.Ive tried alternative charging leads and feel out of options.should I sit on wait for 1hr or is there an email address I can contact to try and get help?
I just received (2) Sonos Move 2 speakers and a Sub 4. Having trouble connecting the Sub 4 to the speakers. The connection options don’t include Move2. Is it possible to connect the Sub in this configuration
I have reset my sonos move2 to factory settings (green light is flashing) and it still appears in my system
My SONOS ROAM suddenly dropped off my network and I cannot make it reconnect again. The light by the logo will not light up at all (during an attempt to reboot it, for example) but the led at the other end, shows a solid orange for a few seconds and then nothing. So, right now, I have a brick that looks like a speaker. The iPhone app is confusing and offers zero help (when trouble strikes it’s essentially useless); there is no way to delete a speaker and attempt to add it again (this would seem a most basic function but not to SONOS).Any suggestions?Thank you.A.C.
De sonos move 2 is in slaap en krijg hem er niet uitModerator edit:Google Translate-The sonos move 2 is asleep and I can't wake it up
