I have old generation 1 equipment operating on S1 app (playbar, subwoofer, 2 connect amps, play 1 and play 5. One of the connect amps powers 2 passive speakers. I plan to get new arc for TV upgrade so I think I will need to get 2 amps to achieve system compatibility with S2 app. My question is will old sub , play 1 and play 5 work effectively on S2 app or do I need to replace those speakers as well. Finally will upgrading old subwoofer enhance overall sound. all sugesstions are welcomed.
I am trying to upgrade my Beam soundbar but I can’t work out where to activate the credit. The Sonos page says to sign in and go to the upgrade page but I can’t find it.
Just noticed my Pair of One SL's and Move have had their 15% Upgrade Promoted to a Limited Time 30% Offer. For Arguments sake, say the offer ends on 29th February, if I do nothing, my upgrades go back down to 15%. What if I add the Upgrade to my account, whilst at 30%, Come the 1st March, will it still be at the higher percentage, I hope so, as I don't have the funds yet to upgrade 😟. Thanks in Advance.
I have 12 sonos products and I have been struggling to get good customer support. Such a pathetic support where I am waiting for a supervisor to call me for almost 15 days even after I called thrice requesting the same to order two new 300. Such a shame of support.
I bought a white Era 300 wall mount last year but realised I didn’t need it. I assume it’s too late to get a product refund. I wondered if there’s a Sonos forum for selling it second hand or whether I should just use eg Ebay. Any thoughts/ideas?
I have two systems on two different networks in the same house and I can’t seem to merge them on to one network?anyone run into this problem?
My external hard drive has stopped working. The disc is no longer readable . When I connect the disc to my computer, the system asks me to format it.There are very important files on the disc.Does anyone know how to help me?
I am/was an avid fan of Sonos, it was the bees knees for sound and bass. it was the original and I had 3 speakers the sub woofer and the sound bar. that was till the second version came out and now I cannot use all the S1 pieces and it is frustrating me to no end. can anyone help me setup the S1 to my WiFi and the app. the App is not recognizing the S1 speakers.
Now I am living in Beijing China. I have used speakers since I was in Japan. I moved to China and brought speakers. Now I have problems for using speakers. I cannot access Sonos radio, Amazon music and Spotify and so on. Also I cannot download and install Sonos voice control function. how can we connect these music apps? How I can fix the situation? please advise.

I’ll start with the problem I’m having in as few words as possible:I have “remastered with 5.1 surround sound” remixes of classic CDs, packaged as a bonus DVD on a CD box set. (Many of these...so many I’m wanting to remove the need for physical discs and rip them to my NAS so they can be played quickly and easily). Sonos WILL play them when I rip the DVDs as .iso files. But those files are huge and the system bogs down and I don’t need all the DVD content, only the DVD audio 5.1 material.Now the problem. No matter what I try, and I’ve tried everything, either Sonos doesn’t see the folders containing the files, OR it does see them but complains about them being unsupported.I understand Sonos supports 24 bit and 48000 kHz. So I encode with those settings but it still doesn’t see the files, or doesn’t like them.There must be some combination that works. They absolutely need to be multichannel for the surround sound to work. And if THAT is the problem, why does Sonos have no problem
Sonos customer service needs major upgrade. Product didnt work when i received. Receiving run around by sonos. chat and phone call resulted in no action. Put in for advanced return but not received replacement. Elevated to level 2 but link they sent doesnt work. Beyond disappointing with a company that charges high prices but doesnt stand behind their products. Looks like many customers having same experience with sonos.

I have been getting strung along by Sonos for weeks now. I keep getting told The labels have been resent. That the issue has been escalated. That the labels will be sent soon. ECT. I even offered to ship it to them myself to only provide me the address that it needs to be shipped to. I can't even get them to provide that. I read that this is not an uncommon issue and I am curious as to why Sonos lies to all of its customers who have an issue. If somebody's figured out a solution to this please let me know.

We are moving within the UK and need to disconnect the boxes in our existing home and move them to new house. how do I disconnect permanently? Are there special wires/cords I need to take with me to my new house for setup?

Hi I ordered a pair of sonos speakers (https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/two-room-set-era-100)Both speakers were delivered in a single box. One of them was defective and I wasn’t happy with the sound of the other. So, I decided to return both. I generated RMA but I see separate RMA for each speaker. Am I expected to ship speaker separately? can I just put both speakers in the box it came with and send it as one shipment?
This ia an ongoing problem and it’s driving me nuts!I have a Dell laptop running Windows 11.I have a Sonos 2 system with 6 Connects and a Roam. It rarely works...says it can’t find my system. I try all the suggestions of restarts...sometimes it will work for a while but then a day later, it is off again. Even when Sonos is working, often I have trouble adding music to the queue.I have a strong wifi connection. My computer sits right above my modem. I have a few Eero devices around my house to cover more area...one sits next to my Connect boxes.Sonos 2 is installed on my iphone but I prefer to access Sonos on my computer where I can easily see my itunes playlists in my Music Library.I tried something yesterday. My Alexa Dots are paired with my Sonos. I said “Alexa, play Christmas music on my Sonos speakers” and voila! Music in every room.What I want to know is, does this shed any light on the problem of Sonos not finding my system when I am on my computer or iphone?Thanks in advance for
Sold my house and new owners want the Sonos S1 system. Do I perform a factory reset and let them register the product on their own account. BTW I will be putting Sonos into my new home - a home is not a home without Sonos.

I have three of the Sonos One product. I want to give 1 of them away. How do I transfer part of my system?
I just installed an Eero Pro 6 wifi mesh extender and my whole SONOS system went offline (3 amps). The app says “Sonos and your mobile device must be on the same network. Let’s fix it”. (NOTE: i used the same name and password for the extender as my Fios router/wifi thinking all my devices would automatically pick up the extender, and they mostly have.) The app takes me through the network update and I get a message saying “Unable to join the network “SONOS”. I’ve done a factory reset of the devices and gone through the whole process multiple times and end with the same message. I’m not sure what else to do at this point...and i’m exceeding the limit’s of my technical aptitude.Anyone have any suggestions?
