Been trying for 2 hrs to connect soundbar .Been on live chat .issue still not resolved 

I’ve had a Sonos Player for around 10 years and have recently donated it to my son who has moved into his own home.He has set up a Sonos account and we returned the Playbar to factory settings (pressing play/Pause whilst connecting to power). The current Sonos app cannot detect the playbat although we do appear to have connected it after the hard reboot above.I’m worried the Playbar is obsolete and will now not work as its been returned to factory settings and so I suspect will have none of the updates it had.The Sonos ‘help’ is poor and just sends you around in circles. I range the helpline and was advised the was a 90 minute wait.Can anyone help?Thanks.

Die Soundbar ist echt Spitzenklasse. Was mich stört ist das es keine Lautstärke Skala gibt nur + oder - .Ich habe die Sonos über HMDI ACR angeschlossen hier wird Sie auch angezeigt.Gibt es eine Möglichkeit das man die Skala aktivieren kann? I have a home sound system but the RCA jack for it is across the room and a physical connection to the TV isn't practical.  I also have an Arc soundbar. Can I run HDMI from the TV to the soundbar, then attach a Sonos Port to the RCA jack across the room and have it utilize my home sound system?  If not, what would you recommend to get the TV to the sound system without a physical connection? Thanks!  

I have my Sonos System (Ray, Sub Mini, One, One SL, Boost), connected to my Samsung TV. In the App, only TV is listed under “Your Sources”; Apple Music and Sonos Radio are listed under Your Services. The issue occurs while watching TV. The system starts playing the TV Audio when the TV is turned on as expected but at least once per viewing session it will switch from playing the TV audio to play the music services instead without being prompted. To play the TV Audio again, I have to open the app and reselect the TV source.  How do I stop my system from switching from the TV Audio source to playing music without directing it to do so? 

The Sonos ARC performed great until the update. The problems I listed below are occurring on a consistent basis and I am mostly using it for streaming music. The unit now loses volume and has to be unplugged and plugged back in to regain the volume. 2-3 times a day this occurs.  The app always says “something went wrong” when switching music services. 97% of the time this happens.  The app will not play the first song on most playlists. This is latest issue and is occurring 50% of the time.   

i have a sonos arc + sub gen 3 + and era 100, my tv is capable of dolby atmos as well as my apple tv, when playing content with the supports atmos, i go on the app to check that its playing in dolby but all i get is “dolby digital plus” is that the same or what am i doing wrong?

How do you install a second Sonos system

I have the latest app updated yesterday.But Trueplay still does not work for me.Tried with both my iPhone and two different iPads.It plays the testing sounds for about 30 seconds.Then the sounds stop, but the Trueplay interface continues, saying it's still listening to the test sounds, even though it's quiet. I have tried to let this continue for about 5 minutes, but it doesn't stop. So I have to finish setting up Trueplay. System: ARC, Sub Gen 3, two ERA 300.I have tried to connect/ disconnect the WI-FI from both the ARC and Sub, but it makes no difference. What am I doing wrong? Have a great weekend everyone!

Hiya Sonos I'm trying to get 5.1 sound through my Playbar and 2x Play 1 speakers. I've just upgraded to a LG B4 OLED TV and it appears I don't have 5.1 anymore via my Foxtel box. I was sure I did previously.Do I have to tinker with some settings in my Foxtel box? LG TV? Not sure where to go from here.Thanks

Hello, just a quick question hopefully. Some great deals right now on the Sonos Era 100s and just wanting to know viability of having a setup as per the image I have included (I wish I was able to layout the space the way I wanted, but I don’t have creative control, Ha!)Just looking to potentially add some Era’s as surrounds, never had a surround setup before and just wondering if this will work/be a viable option? Many thanks in advance.Regards,Mike 

We just moved across country. And I'm trying to get everything setup.We have three One SLs the minute we got Internet at the new house (same router and same networking configuration as the old house) they worked exactly as expected.I just got our TV hung on the wall and connected the Arc and Sub. Sound while connected to the TV is phenomenal (it's always been really good, but the TV is now against a concrete wall and that has dramatically improved things).However, if I try to play something other than TV through the Arc, I'm told “Unable to connect try again later”. It feels like a networking problem, but the Sonos App (what a horrible downgrade that is). Can see both the Arc and the Sub. Anyone have any thoughts?

I have just purchased 2 Era 300 speakers, I want to use them as surround speakers, I have an Arc and a Sub, the Arc is wired to the router, but one of the Era 300 speakers just won’t connect, nothing works, it’s semi recognized by the system, because I can try making changes in the Network portion of the Sonos app (the leds on it light up) , but nothing works 😞Does anyone have any ideas?

I just updated to the new Sonos app. I can no longer find how to change the surroundsound volume with the sound bar for my TV. This used to be accessible through system settings. where is it? How do I change the surroundsound volume level? and Wright left Ballance like we did before

Hi,I can’t seem to get my second sub to connect to my system. It shows that it was set up already, but whenever I’ve tried ‘Connect Second Sub’ or ‘Assigned to Room’, the error always shows ‘There was a problem adding your Sub. Check the network connection and make sure your product is powered on.’. Even Rebooting the product and connecting thru a Ethernet LAN Cable to the network, it still shows the same error.  Please provide a solution. Thank you. 

I would like to connect BenQ TK710 (eARC), Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub (Gen 3), and an Apple TV/Xbox/Nintendo Switch/PC. I was thinking thatSources—>HDMI matrix with eARCMatrix—> Sonos Arc Matrix —> BenQWill this work? I know there are multiple threads on this but in reading them I still cannot figure it out with my projector and the set up I need.  Any problems to this setup and any HDMI matrix you’d recommend?  Thanks

Hi I'm choosing between an LG C 65 in and the Samsung d90. The Samsung doesn't support DTS. Is this an issue as will the Sonos pick this up? Should I choose the LG which does them have this for better sound? I think the Samsung is a slighter better tv screen wise but more interested in the audio aspect as not a huge difference in picture quality .  thanks! 

If I want to delete the play 1 from the app as surround speakers ,the app says that is een problem.but the play 1 working oké I want them to switch for era 300

sub cannot be updatedError 30 appears when updating. I've tried all the solutions for error 30, but I can't update. Is it a malfunction?

Hi all,Found some other posts like this one: Wondering whether there are other settings that I could try?Just got my Beam (gen2) + Sub Mini a few days ago, and dialogue sounds tiny…I’m coming from a Roku Streambar, dialogue there was clear (streaming using Fire TV Stick Max 4K, Roku Streambar strictly just for the soundbar functionality).It’s like, the sound effects are enhance with Sonos setup, dialogue clarity is reduced. With Roku Streambar (lower quality soundbar, of course), definitely not much sound effects, but dialogue clarity is great. Is this the expected result? I have speech enhancement on, true play on as well, even did the trick of tuning it by just strictly moving around the couch. TV is Hisense H9G. Streaming device is Fire TV Stick Max 4K.

I just bought the system, I have 2 era 100, arc, and sub gen 3, it's sound amazing, but my question is, I want to use only the era for listening music before I sleep, because they are near and side by side my bed... I thought make another room and put only the eras in ti, but I can't find the way... If hope you can help me with this, 

I have 3 Sonos Amps and am connected to a new Samsung TV (HDMI). When I turn on the TV the Sonos will play in the TV Room but is erratic in allowing me to join the other rooms. When I try to join other rooms the Sonos switches the source to the Music sources while the TV plays silently. I can use the Xfinity remote to get the HDMI TV again but only through one room. I have to restart the TV and Sonos App to have it play in multiple rooms. It is really hit or miss. Not what you want in a high end system. Any ideas?

Hi Can anyone help me with setting up Era 300 to Sonos Arc. I have been trying to set up the surrounds speakers. But errors are remebered. What am I doing wrong. Please help

as of yesterday I was able to consistently use my television remote, which is an LG TV to use volume control for television and from music whenever it was being used then out of nowhere it stopped working not reconnect will not reset up to the television, but yet it is working with the television and I cannot get the remote control to connect it. All am I doing something wrong in the set up process or is there a fault that I’m not aware of 

In past I transferred my TV signal from Playbar to Move via grouping.Since the new app version, after grouping stays my Move quiet.Any settings I need to adjust? App issue?
