Hi

I recently bought a bluetooth speaker but suffered a connection issue with LG tv so I’ve been trying to get a refund for that and looking for a soundbar for movies.

My LG tv model is OLED65B3SW.AKRG and I’m trying to buy Beam Gen2 through Amazon since I can’t get it in South Korea which means this will be a serious problem to me if the Beam dosen’t work properly. So before I buy it, I’d like to make sure If there’s a slim chance of problem connecting between thoes two products.

In addition, It would be appreciated if you let me know a Sonos offical seller in South Korea and how to get a support if I buy it through Amazon.

This brought up a few stores in South Korea when I typed Seoul for example.

As long as that TV has an eARC HDMI port, the Beam should work fine. It will also work with ARC HDMI but people have found an eARC HDMI port is better for audio sync with the Beam.

Sonos provides support no matter who you buy your Sonos speaker from.

I checked the store location map and unfortunatly, there's no store in South Korea 😞 But a sliver lining is that I'm visiting Japan next week so now i'm thinking of getting it there. 

So my question is, If I buy one in Japan, is there a problem using it in South Korea? Because they use 100V whereas 220V in here.

I’ve no idea on that - someone else might know.

You could call the South Korea Sonos number and ask about retailers in the country…?

The voltage will not be a problem. The plug might be if Japan usues a different one from South Korea. but you can buy the right plug (or lead) or use a travel plug.
