connecting Bluetooth headset to the sonos sound system

I have a Samsung TV with a Sonos sound system. I want to have the sound played thru both the Sonos system speakers and the headset. The TV will not allow both the headset and Sonos system. Its multi output sound is greyed out and it automatically selects sonos. Is there a way to connect the headset to the Sonos system so that both play at different volumes?

Not easily, if you used the TV’s optical out you could use an optical splitter and a optical to Bluetooth transmitter.

Maybe set the TV to “fixed audio output level” and use the Sonos’ volume control to manage it and the headphone’s control to manage them?

I just unplugged the Sonos system and my wife listens using the TV speakers while I use the headset. I guess when we want to listen to surround sound I’ll plug the Sonos system back in.
