My Sonos app seems to be glitching out and no longer shows my Arc system, but only if I add another one of my speakers. The app will even briefly show the Arc (I've set it under living room 1) when I switch into the app but after a split second it will dissappear, just leaving my 2 One SLs showing (currently as 2 seperate rooms)  By doing a factory reset on all 3 and making sure I did the Arc first, it at least allowed me to set up the Arc and connect it to my TV, but as above once any other speaker is added, the option to do anything with the Arc disappears, which crucially for me means I cannot add my One SLs as surround speakers to it. The Arc is continuing to be connected to the TV, and if I go into my Spotify App it does show and recognise the missing 'living room 1' in the Sonos app and will allow to play music via the Arc.  What's most frustrating is that I have the app on both my android phone and my Ipad - and the issue is happening with both!  I've done a factory reset on all

Hi all,New to Sonos, looking to buy currently but had a question on compatibility.i am wanting to following:Sub Mini 2 x Era 300 Beam Gen 2i feel this is the best setup for me. Does anyone see any compatibility issues with this setup? How easy will it be to link up with a Samsung OLED TV? Any comments etc much appreciated. Thanks. 

Hi,I have gradually been building my sonos system through the house, and have now got the following setup in the lounge, which I had hoped / planned would mean Dolby Atmos / 7.1 sound - if the content allows. Beam 2, Sub Mini, 2 x Ones at the back of the room. Will this indeed achieve the atmos / 7.1 experience I had hoped for films / TV? Thanks in advance

Hi All, My system:  Beam (gen 1), and 2x Symfonisk bookshelves as surrounds.TL;DR:  You might be able to use SonosNet to connect your Surrounds back to your system, if nothing else is working. I’ve been having a heap of issues connecting my Symfonisk bookshelves back into my living room system after a change of wireless router.  It’s honestly caused me a lot of stress, and cost me a lot of time… so I want to post this to maybe save at least one person the same pain.I went through the recommended factory reset route on every speaker in my system (multiple times), but the Symfonisks would always disappear from the system as soon as the Sonos app had completed its work.  Sometimes I got a message like “Your speaker has been added, but may not appear in the System tab[...]”, but power-cycling the speakers didn’t work.  If on the rare occasion they did not disappear at this point, they would appear as ‘unregistered’, and then disappear as soon as the app tried to register and update them.  

Hello, Im trying to connect mutlple system like below screenshot,TV Room : Arc UltraMedia Room : Era 300 + Subi use to connect both system like this to watch Movies, but its not working anymorethe app shows its both enabled, but i cant hear any audio from Media Roomnote: i can able to play audio in Media Room seperate via AirPlay,so i guess its not speaker issue  anyone had this issue ? any idea how to solve it?

I had a playbar when I turned it up and down it just flashed on the playbar and no tv symbols, but the arc ultra seems to when turning up and down shows the plus and minus on the screen, it’s only on there briefly before disappearing but i don’t want to see when turning up or down the tv, settings in my Samsung don’t seem to help clear it any thoughts please 

I have a Samsung 49NU7500, connected to a Youviewbox, a blu-ray player and my Sonos Beam.Ok, so my 10yo Youview box was nearing its end of life, so i purchase a brand new one.Today, i set up the new box, by basically swapping the wires at the back of the 2 Youview boxes over.Set up was straight forward as expected.However, i can only control the sound with the Sonos app now, whereas i could use the Youview remote to do this previously.Any idea how to remedy this ?Any help gratefully received...1st post, so be kind :)

Hi, I recently purchased Arc Ultra, 2x Era 100 & Sub 4 to produce cinematic sound throughout the living room. The TV (Panasonic TX50CX802B) unfortunatly is old but has Arc input which is the current method of setup, but only outputs stereo. Without purchasing a new TV with Dolby Vision / Atmos, is there any way I can extend my experience and get awesome sound with my latest sonos purchases?I have been suggested purchasing a media player (Amason Fire Cube Gen3) as it has a HDMI input and output, could that work?Any suggestions welcome apart from buying a new TV which will cost me same as the whole of the new Sonos Kit, agreed there are cheap brand TV, but i do not prefer buying it and lose out on the screen quality.  Thanks 

Has anyone received an update on the Metallic/Robotic/Tinny sound from the Beam 2 (and other sound bars) under vocals? I see this issue has been widely reported for years - initially blamed on HDMI signals from certain TV brands - but users have experienced it across many models, including Samsung, LG, and Sony. Suggested “fixes” include buying surrounds to mask the problem, turning the treble way down, or using an optical cable instead of HDMI (which defeats the purpose of Atmos), but none of these actually resolve it. Despite acknowledging the problem in community threads for years, Sonos continues to tell people to contact support and send sound samples/diagnostics for analysis. If they already recognize the issue, why keep pushing for more samples for years? I wish I’d found these threads before buying.

I have just recently upgraded my home broadband from Sky to a faster Vodofone Ultra. Before the upgrade the SONOS system was perfect. After the upgrade my my speakers are not connecting but only a certain few. In my living room I have the SONOS Arc, 2 x Play 1’s and a Sub. I have connected the Arc to to the router (WiFi) but the surround speakers connect and drop out. I have tried various ways to connect but nothing seems to work. Is there a simple and easy fix? 

Just recently started having issues with my arc ultra! We have to have the volume up at like 50+ to get a decent volume out of the arc! Before we wouldn’t have to have it any louder than 20 to get decent volume. We can talk over max volume on the hdmi and music through the app! Very frustrating! I called Sonos and they had me run a diagnostic test and said everything is ok. But I don’t know how they can tell when the volume is at 20 or 40 or max, how loud the volume really is or should be. I really would just like to send it back and get another one! Something is definitely wrong though.

I currently have a Playbase paired with a pair of Ones and a Sub gen 3.  I am very happy with it except for the fact that the Playbase does not connect with the Ace and I cannot upgrade the pair of Ones to a pair of Era 100s. Did anyone ever have a similar setup as mentioned above and then upgraded to a Beam gen 2 or Arc Ultra, with a pair of Era 100s, and a Sub?  If so, how does the sound experience compare. Thanks in advance for your comments. 

I have an Arc Ultra via HDMI to the tv and use the Era 100 via Bluetooth as an extended speaker - not surround sound. The Era sometimes connects to the Arc and plays perfectly, but after a while it disconnects from Bluetooth and keeps connecting to HDMI on the app (which is is not connected via HDMI) and the sound disappears? How can I get the Era and Arc to sync every time I turn on the TV - or press the Era and turn on when the Arc is playing? 

If the new Sonos CEO is truly sincere about winning and earning back customer trust and good will. Now is the most opportune time to add all DTS formats, including DTS:X, to Sonos home theater products.Plus, it would only strength Sonos in being a better and more complete sound system for music and home theater enthusiasts.No more excuses.

I have just purchased a Samsung 83” S95F, which comes with a 2024 4K One Connect Box. The One Connect Box has an Ethernet Port, 4 HDMI IN (of which one is eARC) a couple of USB 2.0 Ports and an Optimcal Port.I want to connect:Samsung (Ultra) ARC Subwoofer Sonos In Ceiling by Sonanace (AMP plus two speakers) We are currently refurbing the house so have the opportunity to put as many cables in as needed (vs relying on wifi or bluetooth). I have never used Sonos or set up a home theatre previously. What I would like to know:firstly is there anything “wrong” with this set up - i.e. In Ceiling speakers are not compatible with an ARC what input does each device need electricity? ethernet? eARC? ... what devices should be physically cabled to each other vs relying on wifi or bluetooth TV (One Connect) to ARC Anything to Subwoofer Anything to the AMP for in ceiling speakers Please excuse my ignorance!     

Hi community. I have my sonos play bar connected with Ethernet and wifi turned off on the play bar thru the app , then to my understanding , that creates its own wifi to connect to my sub.  Now , how can I use the app on my phone to control the sonos play bar if my phone is not connected to wifi, and I don't have wifi turned on thru out my home.   Trying to not use any wifi in my home.  Thanks in advance.  

I am trying to connect a Samsung Smart Monitor to my Playbar. The monitor has an earc HDMI and HDMI connection while the playbar only has the optical/digital type connection. Is there a simple cable adapter that would connect the two? I read that the Sonos adapter works the other way to hook up a tv digital to a playbar hdmi but doesn’t work the other way round. Not sure if that’s true or not. Any other work arounds or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. 

Hi, I’m sure it’s a stupid question with an easy solution  however I am in need of some help with an audio lag I havei have just bought a new Samsung frame pro 2025 and linked my Ray with 2x era 100 as rear speakers I wanted to use the Dolby atmos through the tv to sync with the sound bar and rear speakers which I can do but cannot get rid of the slight echo/lag when all are workingIm streaming through a firestick

I'm experiencing a popping at various times with my new Arc Ultra, I've had it for about a month, never had problems with my previous Arc in four years. Any ideas, thanks

I’m going to be mounting my TV tomorrow  morning so I really hope someone answers this in time for me 😬. I have my Sonos arc ultra sitting on the front of my fireplace mantle. There is approximately 3.25” from the back of the Sonos to the wall where my TV is going to be mounted. I’m doing the thinnest wall mount I could find (1” from wall). The TV depth is 2.25” (3.25” with mount), so that leaves the back of the Sonos speaker flush with the front of the TV screen. As I unfortunately need to mount the TV higher than I would like in general, I’m trying to keep height as minimal as I can. As the Sonos arc is not mounted directly below the TV on the wall the tv is mounted, but in front of the TV by a few inches, do I still need to adhere to the 4” distance between the two? I’m under the impression that is mainly because of the upward firing speakers and you don’t want that to bounce off the bottom of the TV… but I wanted to additionally ask if there are concerns regarding any magnetism of

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two Gen 3 Subs?I have the original soundbar and want to add a sub to the system. I recently connected a pair of Play:3 speakers as surrounds for my Beam 2, Sub 3 basement home theatre setup and the surrounds are giving me a lot of trouble. The audio coming out of the surrounds is throbbing like a tremolo effect, similar to if you talk into a fan that’s spinning. I previously had a pair of Play:1 surrounds connected and they worked perfectly, so the Apple TV and Sony TV settings are not the problem. I have tried rebooting the Beam. I have tried rebooting the Play:3’s. I have removed them as surrounds and added them from scratch and the problem persists. Could this be an issue with wireless interference? If it matters, the Beam is connected via Ethernet with WiFi disabled. I believe when the Play:1’s were hooked up I did not have the Beam on Ethernet. Suggestions please?

Hi! Just upgraded my Playbar to an Arc Ultra. I already have 2 Play 1’s and Sub 2. Will I be able to to add these to the Ultra without compromising the sound quality? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

ARP attack between Sonos speakers. ARC attacks the Era-100 rear speakers, or vice versa. What's happening with Sonos? My Eset antivirus detected the ARP attack between these products, and this is causing my Wi-Fi network to crash. I also notice they're creating a hidden 2.4GHz network. 

Hi Just bought a Beam and connected to system with existing Play 5. Works fine in a group while playing music, but the minute I change to tv the Play5 drops out of the group.   Anyone got any ideas?
